- Hey I spotted this overgrown corner lot on my usual work route in downtown Columbia, SC. Corner lots always stand out and I just had to get this yard back to looking beautiful. Some of the homes in this area approach a million dollars. I spent about two separate days working at this property. I did speak to the neighbors and they believe the property is for sale and possibly pending sale. I checked the house and could tell that it’s definitely unoccupied. There were signs that people were squatting there but I didn’t see anyone. So come along and watch as I clean up this overgrown yard. Thanks for watching

@@Toppslawncare I'd rather see you use some equipments that would really make your life easier, i.e. grass edger, rather than using a spade/shovel to tap on the sidewalk edge. It saves some time also, so you can do other things to create a better presentation. You are a master of using your weed eater... well done buddy!

Found the listing for this house and it was listed at 179,500 with sale pending. Nice clean up on the property and hopefully the new owner can continue to improve it as well.

One pet peeve I have always had about cleaning up stuff. That you rake on lawns, get yourself. A huge rubber maid garbage can along with lawn and leaf bags. And 2 good leaf rakes! These leaf rakes serve as 2 giant hands, which makes your time and effort of picking up these clippings so much more easier!

A week later the vines and weeds will all be back . For a big house like this it need new sod to get rid of the weeds and the vines . And then it needs to be watered . Thank you for your video .

I don't know if u know but hitting the shovel on its edge will dull it an it will not cut the edge like you want it too you always do a great job it's good to see you loving the red shouvelgod bless l can't believe that no one offered help to these people this yard is a jungle
You won my vote. Most people only trim brushes on the outside. They never cut the tops off even if the height requires it to look decent.

Just a suggestion ,But if you do not have a edger then it is easier to go over edges first with a weed eater to remove all of the overgrowth. Then turn weed eater sideways and use it to cut edge next to the sidewalk. Just use shovel to scrape up excess left on sidewalk. This should give you the semi straight line the same as a edger machine! --Just a suggestion !
