Hello. My name is Scott and I live in Columbia, South Carolina. I am a small business owner, father and husband. I want to give advise to others trying to start their own lawn business by uploading tips and other valuable information. Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and insights that I am eager to share with you. In my free time, I enjoy going to church and working on cars and I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and learn new things. I hope that my content will be informative, engaging, and helpful to you in your own personal and professional endeavors. Also I want to give back by going out into the community and providing free service to those in need. From Neglect to Beauty // Reviving a Yard for an Elderly Couple's Peace of Mind (Transformation)
Hey there, CZcams friends! It's been a while since my last upload, but I'm back with an exciting video to share with all of you. I took some time off during the holidays to relax and spend quality time with my family. In our industry, winter is the perfect time to recharge and take a break. However, it seems like we're staying busy year-round these days.
Now, let me tell you about this incredible experience that I want to share with you today. I had already started working on cleaning up an empty eyesore in my neighborhood when I received a call from a subscriber in Georgia. He shared the story of his sister's house and yard, which were in desperate need of our services. When he mentioned that she had been tirelessly caring for her 102-year-old mother, I knew I had to help them out. I was really hoping it would be a good fit for our team because sometimes things don't work out for various reasons. But this job was going to be special.
When we met, I could immediately sense the love and care this woman had for her mother, and her husband's determination to restore the yard to its former glory. They couldn't stop apologizing for the condition it was in, as they took great pride in keeping it beautiful not only for themselves but also for their neighbors. I reassured them that the state of the yard was understandable after dedicating three years to caring for a sick mother. I wanted to make sure their expectations were met, so we had a great conversation while walking the yard.
They were amazed that I was going to do all this work for free. The project itself took around six weeks to complete, not including the additional two weeks of editing and video work. During this time, I took breaks and focused on my regular customers and leaf clean-ups. What made this job different was the amount of debris we had to deal with. We found old chairs, buckets, wires, boxes, sticks, and various other items that needed to be hauled away. Luckily, I have a recycling facility where most of the debris can be disposed of properly. However, some items can be quite expensive to get rid of. In total, we ended up hauling off eight trailers full of debris. This project had the most yard debris compared to any other job I've done so far. I had hours and hours of footage capturing us loading stuff into the trailers, but I had to condense it significantly. The initial footage was around 23 hours long, which I edited down to about 3 hours at a mostly 6x speed, and finally cut to under 1 hour. It's worth mentioning that I still edit all my videos on my phone, which can be a bit challenging at times. But I plan on investing in a better computer for editing this year. It's astonishing how much space these videos can take up!

What a wonderful thing you are doing for our elderly and disabled persons who need help more than ever to be able to stay in their homes. I am in Colorado and there are a lot of organizations that help out Seniors and Disabled people with home repairs here but, unfortunately there isn't many that deal with taking care of your lawns which we need because it is hard to do this work even for a young person. I am 70 years old and I still do my own yard work even after 3 major back surgeries but I just keep plugging away at it. I hope there is someone like you to help out when I get too decrepit to do my own. God has touched you to do good and you will be rewarded!♥

Okay, lots of vines, some not finished in back, and vines debris left on ground in back. So, did the owner come out and yell at you a couple of times? The bushes in front are three different sizes. This owner was he angry about some of the work and that is the reason you did not share what he was saying? The whole point of these lawn videos is to share with us about what people are saying.
