Thank you for the pattern!!!! On the batting, maybe if you cut it 1/2 in smaller than it wouldn't be in the seam allowance. Maybe use a fusible batting. Just a thought.

I have been very impressed with this video I've learned so much I really enjoyed it and I'm just really grateful is taking me two days to watch it and I just want to thank you for showing me this project I was going to do it with crayons like they used to do back in the twenties and thirties but this looks so much easier

This looks great and I'm definitely going to make some. Is there any particular type of glue that you use for the basting? One that doesn't come up the needles? Or whatever it is that you use. Would this work well without the batting?

I made these years ago I had tea cup fabric if I was to do them again I would try a long elastic and no button

What kind of glue were you using?
elmers school glue
batting is too thick for this little project, I used fusible interfacing instead and was not so bulky.
