These make a superb gift for tea loving friends and they can easily be popped into the post for distant friends. This DIY teabag holder can be made in under an hour and is a great project for beginners and experienced sewists alike.

Love making these, my only modifications are that I cut 4 pieces of fabric at the 5 x 7, 2 become my pockets which I fold in half, iron and stitch along the fold, sewing 1 to my inside fafric about an inch from the bottom and the other pocket gets sewn in when I sew around and I cut my interfacing slightly smaller so it reduces the bulk in the edges when I turn
