    Thank you for sharing. It’s fun to make and use for potluck. To make more fun, if someone really likes it, I gift it to them and have fun making another. Double pleasure.

    I made four of these and they were so easy! I added an extra feature. I also have an embroidery machine. I added the name of the person receiving this as a gift so when they use it to take to an event, this should go back to its rightful owner. I will be making more soon! Thanks for the tutorial.

    What a great video, Lisa! I just came upon your site this morning so this is the first of your videos that I have seen. I hope that you have lots of other great ideas just like this that you have shared. Can’t wait to look for you to see what other great patterns and ideas you have. I have wanted to make some casserole carriers and have bought patterns to do so but they look like way more work than I want to do. This pattern is amazingly simple! I think I can do this one! Your directions are excellent and super easy to follow! AND I am wanting to learn to do free motion quilting and this will be an excellent way to get some practice but still having a completed project rather than wasting fabric and batting on “practice” quilt sandwiches that will eventually get tossed. AND I have LOTS of random charm squares to use up and I can’t wait to get started on this one! Everyone is getting one for Christmas this year! LOL! Thank you for sharing this!

    I have just finished my casserole holder following your tutorial. Turns out beautifully and the only hitch is my sewing machine. Unable to stitch the last stage of the binding. So I handstitch all around. Hopefully it will be stronger enough to hold the weight of the glass casserole. Otherwise I will use plastic containers.. Hehehe

    • @TheQuiltmakerHomestead
      @TheQuiltmakerHomestead  Před 2 lety

    You are really inspiring me with kitchen items for Christmas gifts! I only have one question on the carrier you demoed in the video, what is the measurement on the binding? Also, will this be a free pattern for patreon members?

    • @TheQuiltmakerHomestead
      @TheQuiltmakerHomestead  Před 2 lety

      To find binding measurements measure each side and add all 4 numbers up. Add 10 to that number. That's the total inches of binding you need. I demo the patchwork carrier in this video and give out measurements and sizes for the carrier. The other three styles are included in the pattern. This will be exclusively found in my Etsy shop ♡
