Slender: The Arrival is BACK...

- I'm not kidding. We've gotten a teaser from Blue Isle Studios, along with a website, that suggests that Slender: The Arrival is gonna be making a comeback, a whole DECADE after it released! This video will detail my thoughts on it, what I believe could be going on with what we're given. I hope you're all at least as hyped as I am! X3

Because a few people have already corrected me on what I said in the video, and other people are still commenting with the exact same correction (obviously unaware of the other comments being made about it in this same comment section), I'll just clear the air for you all right here:
*THE TEASER VIDEO WE WERE SHOWN DOES **_NOT_** FEATURE THE CELLAR IN THE HOMESTEAD LEVEL.* In this video, I had said that it did, but people have told me that it's actually the basement of the Matheson house in the "Arrival" level. I compared it, and realized that they were right. The ambiance being used in the teaser is the exact same one that's used in the cellar in the Homestead level, though, and that's what made me think it was the cellar.
Now can people please stop focusing in on that one mistake I made in the video? If you're purposefully doing it as a joke, then you desperately need to take a lesson on what real humor is like. Any further comments that tell me that the teaser video from Blue Isle Studios shows the Matheson basement, and not the cellar, will be deleted.

@@Terrifyger I also just noticed there is a collectable item in the far right. If you take the video and brighten it up, you can see it clearly. I think its the page you college from the basement, which leads me to believe that this is the basement of the Mathison house, just with updated graphics.
@@yakninja96 Yeah, jimmyolsen8206 already corrected me on that. It isn't the cellar of the Homestead level, it's the basement of the Matheson house in the "Arrival" chapter. The ambiance of the cellar being used here is what threw me off.

@@extsyy The only thing that's good about it is Javier Botet's performance as Slenderman. But how often Slenderman is actually used in the movie, and the general plot, and the acting from everyone... it all brings the movie down.
I hope we can get brand new Slenderman games after this.
Me too, but who knows? Maybe this will reinvigorate Slender fans and we'll be getting more fangames once this comes out. I know that I've been seeing recent videos from small channels playing Slender: The Arrival nowadays, so they must've seen this announcement, too. X3
@@Terrifyger I love Slenderman and think hes an awesome and very interesting and scary character so its sad that nobody seems to make any new stuff with him anymore.
I was hoping that the movie was going to make him a new big movie horror villain but that did not happen unfortunattely.
Yea after this comes out i hope people will start to become interested in Slenderman again and that we can get new games and other stuff with him again.

That's fair. The story does stand well enough on its own with just the one game, and honestly, it seems more likely that it'll be just a remastered.

I wonder if they will pull a sneaky on veteran players. In the homestead cellar you can basically clip into charlie and hang around as long as you like. Now imagine if that's turned into lethal danger...

It was my first ever horror game I played
I was a little bit poor so I didn't even know what the internet was at the time so for my dad to get me this game and me playing it for the first time I generally made me try to stay up every night hoping the Slender Man wouldn't come after me in my sleep love this game

The video is very good as an analysis but you got the level wrong, it's not Homestead, it's arrival, right after Charlie catches Lauren and locks her in the basement of her burned house, while Kate cries upstairs, if you want to compare it to see that they are the same, as for the breathing, it can be implied that they will either expand the story in the remake or it's a sequel with another character. As for the other, at this point I don't care if it's a remake, an update or a sequel, I just want more content related to this universe of the character that I love, plus graphically it looks beautiful and can lend itself to a greater terror so I look forward to it, and the new design of Slender on the cover is very intimidating.
Now that I compare the basement in "Arrival" to the teaser we got, I can see that you're right. It way more closely resembles the basement than the cellar. I guess the ambience of the cellar made me think it was the cellar. ^^;
The graphics DO look much better, though - not just on the environment, but on Charlie as well. If this _is_ a sequel, then it looks like it'll be reusing locations, or at least reusing the basement from the "Arrival" level. So it might be just a graphical improvement on the original (and possibly an AI improvement as well), but either way, I'm excited for it!
@@Terrifyger Yeah, i waited so much time for new things about this game or saga and i don't think they used IA because this game look they worked in it from years ago, but i only need one thing, a translate for other languages, i talk spanish and it's a pain in ass see youtubers o people don't understanding the lore because the game isn't in other languages
@@jimmyolsen8206 By "AI", I meant the pathfinding and such by characters like Kate and Charlie. Maybe their animations could be improved, too. But yeah, I do know what you mean about the game not being translated. for some reason, I thought that it _had_ been translated in other languages, but if it hasn't, then oh well. Hopefully it will be, though.
@@Terrifyger doubt that it's a sequel because it just seems unlikely. It's pretty much a remake because the title remains the same and it shows the ending of the game with Charlie guarding the stairs. So yeah, it's a remake and it's been revamped unless they decide to expand the story more with more chapters and new content.

I was hoping a remaster of outlast at first ( waiting for Outlast Trials) I didn't even expect Slender gonna continue that's frustrating to wait !!!

I think this is just a remaster with some minor changes and not a sequel or an update. Kinda like what they’re doing with Silent Hill 2.
Yeah, it's most likely just a remaster. But even a remaster is good enough for me!
I like to have Lauren, Kate, CR, and even Charlie to have more voice lines in the game. Fully voiced protagonists for the lack of better terms.
I know what you mean, I'd love that too. I don't know if the original voice actors would be reprising their roles after all these years, so if the characters _do_ get more voice lines, they might be recast.

You can actually find it on your own by searching for it here on CZcams. The only reason I'm not gonna link you it is because CZcams doesn't seem to like comments that contain links, as whenever I try posting a comment anywhere that has a link, the comment gets deleted soon afterwards. Just search "slender the arrival noclip" and click the first result. It should be a video titled "Slender The Arrival | Test noclip.", uploaded by a channel called "DevelopmentStudio". A pinned comment on this video has the link to download the mod.
