- Zoso takes Milwaukee back to 1973 with guitarist Jimmy Page (John McDaniel) soloing on stage with his Gibson Les Paul guitar and cranked Germino amplifier. The tribute band rocked to "Heartbreaker" and "Immigrant Song" 4:11s live in front of Turner Hall's packed crowd experiencing what it felt like to be at a Led Zeppelin concert back in the day.
Zoso - The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Tribute
Matt Jernigan - Robert Plant
John McDaniel - Jimmy Page
Adam Sandling - John Paul Jones
Bevan Davies - John Bonham
Recorded live at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI on March 4, 2017. - Zábava
Props to the crowd member going straight into Living Loving Maid haha
Might Duck, Nice catch!
hate that song, always hated it! glad they launched into something much better!
Living loving maid was just too annoying and repetitive, even jimmy page hated it
Read somewhere that they never played LLM live. Can't say, myself, but I've read that.
@@goo83 please just leave and never listen to my beloved zeppelin ever again swine.
I watched them last summer in Jackson,WY. The best Zeppelin tribute band ever I`ve seen.
He is one of the BEST I've ever seen live. If you haven't seen this band live you must go. It is unreal
goin' this week...........t/y...!
Nice job
Get the lead out is a hellava lot better IMO
Guitar playing is very sloppy in places.
@@philfyphil Just like Page so it’s spot on! Good observation!
Best Zep cover band I've seen. I didn't know Jeff Daniels could sing.
Bahahhahahaha!!! That is funny!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
GTLO is way better man
srsly he looks like him
@@XALTEREGO1 this! It these guys are really good to. But GTLO slays it.
Saw these guys in Knoxville TN on the 15th and they killed it! If you’re a fan of LZ this band is a must see!
I saw these guys years ago in Berea Ohio. They put on a good show. Out doors at a fair ground. Kids who never even heard of or knew a LZ song were getting into the music. It grabbed them...on their 1st listen. As far as those kids knew, they were an original act! They played exceptionally well...and I'm rather critical. Singer sounded excellent. Guitarist used correct gear, and had that Germino amp head too! I talked to him and he was the most down to earth, nicest, humble dude....singer was cool too. For all you peckerwoods saying anything about these dudes, LZ is a hard act to follow or emulate. Those kids got the experience of their life that day. Lots of folks....but also a ton of 10, 12, 17 yro's that had their minds blown. It was a sight to see. Guarantee it changed their musical (pop) tastes [to] (rock n roll/classic rock).
I'll say this about Zoso, don't judge them off of any CZcams video, these guys rock live! One of the best concerts I've been too. The singer is great but something about all the videos I've watched of them it sounds off. But man, live it's incredible.
Yeah, this sounds pretty shitty.
So I just saw these guys tonight, let me tell you considering you can't see LED Zeppelin especially in a small venue like I just saw these guys, this is the next best thing. Talk about a time warp. They have been doing this for 23 years and got it down for sure, moves, sound ,look its all here. I definitely recommend it if you like Zeppelin
Totally agree. I've seen them 5 times and they were awesome every time. Never saw the real Zep but never will so this is the next best thing and makes for a great night out.
the little drummer boy ain't bad
I can't wait to see them February 10th in Missoula, Mt. I'd give anything to see Zep live.
I am planning to see them here in Missoula too this weekend 💜
Bass player and drummer layed down a very nice groove ala Jonsey and Bonham. Nice work guys.
The Immigrant solo is SICK! Better than many of Page's performances. I've heard many, many boots of them doing it and many times, Page was on the money...but this guy is killing it! Well done fellas.
Wow he even got JP's sloppiness down.
WOW alot of hate on here for nothing why say anything at all if you can't saying anything nice ??? Some of us like them as Led Zeppelin retired & can't be heard live anymore so they are keeping their music alive , To many haters on here for no real reason .
Roger that. These guys have worked hard at developing their act for a long time now and have done well. They deserve respect. Personally, I think they kick a**.
I like how well the drums are miked and tuned....sounds real ballsy.
One of the first things I noticed at this show! Good comment!
I saw ZOSO with my daughter last year at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall last year...and it was one of the best father -daughter experiences we could ever have had together...I am 54 and my daughter is 19.
I have spent hours stepping into her "world", listening to acts like Brittany Spears (yesteryear) and 21 Pilots (present day), so I was both touched and honored when she agreed to enter mine, and travel back in time to the late '70's, when her father (yes, the one with the ridiculous haircut in the pictures) was singing (screaming?) along with Plant, and playing Page-air guitar with his two best friends, Albert (now a writer), and Richard (a cardiologist).
Perhaps naively, I feel that Zeppelin, along with the Stones, The Who and some others- are the voices of our generation, and we need to pass that heritage on to our kids. So I would encourage all you middle-aged guys to nag your kids into listening to a few downloaded Zeppelin songs (hey, WE used to have to actually go to a store and BUY the vinyl), and take 'em to see ZOSO. They are absolutely incredible. And-yes-we will be at PV Concert Hall on June 8. (ZOSO-If you are listening- Can you PLEASE play "The Song Remains the Same"? I was the guy holding up the 2-sided sign last year "ZOSO/THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME". I'll be standing up front again, along with my daughter ;)
Awesome to share your love of Led Zep with your daughter. Great musical experiences together that will not be forgotten!
I'm 51 and have an 8-year old daughter. I've never been worried about the "boys coming around" stage (I can fully prepare her for all those tricks), I have MUCH more fear of the current and ongoing "shit music phase."
I'm the biggest Zep nerd around and will be diligent in her musical education. :-)
We just saw Steve Winwood (a master), with Jethro Tull and Chicago/Doobie Bros. on tap. Zoso- We are attending a Repeat performance next month!
The big experience will be going to Las Vegas to see thew Who for two shows in August.
Yes, it's costly,But we are Disseminating our culture to the next generation, and the memories will last A lifetime.
Good luck with your daughter!
Ron Kirsner I'm 13 now, but my dad took me to see Zoso for the first time when I was 10. I absolutely LOVE Led Zeppelin and their music has changed my life. I couldn't imagine my life without it. I play guitar so I was so excited when John McDaniels(Jimmy) gave me his pick. My dad also loves music and when I started listening to this kind of music, and going with him to concerts and hearing any live band really, it sort of formed this special bond between us most people don't get to share with their kids. Music just does that sort of thing to people.😊
I turned my son onto this or 'my generation's music' as well,....he love's it along with his own style, he's a professional cellist, married to a violinist, they love my song's I play on guitar, written in 70's,.....you keep up the good job, shareing the music dearone, our generation, who worked so hard in these band's had no cell phone's,.!!,just record player's and instrument's............blessing's to u..........xo.
this Jimmy Page is halfway decent. Im liking his playing, great man.
Saw Zoso in Phx, they are truly the best most accurate Zeppelin tribute band out there - absolutely an AMAZING show!!!
I've seen Zoso twice now and they always put on a great show!
go see "Get the Led Out !
So I have to say this: I’m 51 & a lifelong Zep fan. I had the chance to see these dudes 2yrs ago (friends invited me) & I was VERY skeptical 😏🤨 But…a few seconds in to the opening song, I was absolutely flawed & my mind was blown 🫨 They are OUTSTANDING - musically, style, voice, everything. 1000% go see them - you will NOT be disappointed. I just got notification they’re playing locally again & bought my tickets in seconds. Thank you Zoso for keeping it real. 🤘🏽😌🤘🏽
What the crap I've never heard of these guys before they Rock ! Well never have Zeppelin back so why not Rock out with these guys .Iam going to go see these guys Friday night in PA .I'll let ya know what I think 👍
How was it?
@@dumbredneck4464 didn't get to go .Was so disappointed hubby was sick so stayed home .I hear tbey play there alot , if you get a chance go see them and let me know how they were k
@@rickilynnwolfe8357 dang I’m sorry. I’m saving up to go
You can tell the guitarist listened to lots of Zep bootlegs. His tone is pretty spot on.
I've seen these guys 3 times already they are great... every time they are in town I check them out....
I like that they are back to playing smaller venues again. I can see Pages fingers now much better.
It's like going to an open casket funeral, I'd rather remember them the way I saw them last.
Tried playing with my les paul that low and surprisingly it felt good!
Saw them the other night in Falls Church VA for the 5th time. They were great yet again. Each guy plays his role and position exceptionally well. The bass player literally blows you away with sheer power. They are just a great act.
They are amazing ! I seen them back in the early 2000s in Carbondale Illinois so many times I can’t remember !
I will being seeing Them March 4 2022 in NJ! RIP Big Brothers 🎂 😢😅😇
I'm sorry. This event has been rescheduled from 3/4/22. All valid tickets will be honored for the new date of FRI, OCTOBER 21, 2022 .
We just saw Zosa last night at the Norva in Norfolk, Va. Amazing show! Great staff and support. Bass player took an extended break at the end, leaving an awkward musical situation. Not that big of a deal. I’d just like to know the drama that transpired before and after. Keep it up Zosa.
Love these guys
These guys are doing a really fine job, and working their asses off. LZ themselves are not gigging, so you can either sit on your butt at home doodling over ancient video (of which there is not a great deal) or you can get out there and support live music.
Just saw them last night and they were incredible. YT phone vids cant do them justice. Incredible sound and performances all around.
Zoso are an excellent Led Zeppelin tribute band!
The guitarist is the best part. He's definitely studied Page all the way down to mannerisms and the look. Playing pretty good as well. Not page, but no one can really imitate a player perfectly. Still this guy is the best who's done it so far on stage
Excellent performance, congratulations guys
If led zeppelin make movie, this band is very nice
If you have never seen the real thing, this is about as close as you will get. I have seen these guys several times already and they absolutely kill it.
Nice job guys, enjoyed that
Saw these guys in Denver, ~Feb 2020. Great show!
These guys are GREAT. .... The Zep Boys should be very flattered.
Most excellent
Am I the only one that got goose bumps? It's literally like seeing Jimmy Page and the rest of Zeppelin on stage!
this is awesome! this guy is so good at Jimmy Page😛🇬🇧👌
this guy is not so good like Page, Because Page CREATE this songs, this is a good imitator
Wtf! He is great guitarist but people like jimmy page are gutair gods not the same
I just seen these guys a few months ago in Colorado amazing and the guitar player is a cool and nice person to talk to good times
He can definitely hit those Robert Plant high notes here. Awesome
Perfect tribute and great playing. Very cool. Thanks cor sharing.
Good to hear your review of this Zoso performance from Milwaukee!
I've seen these guys 3 times & they were fantastic each time I saw them.... their original drummer left a few years ago...
Ridicolous :)))
The guitarist is absolutly the best guitarist of a Led zeppelin tributo band
Nah, Jimmy SaKurai is by far
This guy has got Page down! His playing, his look, everything! It’s amazing. I’d swear it was Page!
Now this is not as easy as it appears since Page would play 10,000 notes a concert! You try it! Your fingers will fall off first! Only Eddie Van Halen plays nearly as many notes! Nobody else does since them two came along.
Great Job Guys! You sound a helleva lot like Zeppelin!
I think this is the guy who played with led Zepagain as well
Page has white hair , heh
Guitar tone is spot on for Jimmy’s live sound.
Enjoyed it guys! Keep the flame alive !
Im going to see them feb 5 2022 😍
great singer
I understand Milt but tribute bands are a testament to the original bands quality and durability of it's work. besides many are still making a living off of the works of Shakespeare or Mark Twain and don't forget all those cover versions throughout the years. This group is good and probably the closest one will get to the true Zeppelin concert experience.
Killing it!
wonderfull cover...
oh haha
i seen these guys jam. they are really good
I don't think Led Zep ever played this one live as well as these guys. Great work!
Michael Kennedy you should check out Zeppelin’s final concert (with Jason Bonham ) at the O2. On DVD. I think it will change your mind.
Seen them twice, fantastic sound!
ZUSA is a tribute band that if you close your eyes you swear that's it's a record playing that's how much they sound like led zepplin it is so amazing how exactly they sound like the mighty zepplin
DankFamous 1 dude! No one will ever sound as good live as Led Zeppelin.
Diane Correll
Queen sounded very good live... better than what they played on the records.
WOW 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Great job!
Thanks! How was the MR JIMMY show last night at the Whisky A Go Go?
It was great, highly anticipated night with amazing energy...there's a few videos on my channel under my name
Watched all three in sequence last night. Awesome show!
Did a show with them (Stickey Fingers) Outdoors, Bethlehem P.A. I wanna say, 2002(?) THIS Guitarist LISTENS to LIVE Led Zeppelin !! GREAT JOB Bro !!!! LL
did you hear the guy around 4:11 , he started singing Living Loving Maid. It does make sense though because it basically is Heartbreaker part 2.
katastrophic i i i i i immigrant cry !
See ya this Thursday at the Blue note, Waikiki!
A cover band covering a cover band...😃 Brilliant.🤘🏻🎸
Greta van Fleet the cover of a cover band so they say anyway.
Absolut weariness!
É impressionante notar como e quanto Jimmy Page inspirou tanto no visual quanto na maneira de tocar e compor muitos pós guitarristas...
I love how the lead singer starts singing, "Living Loving Maid", until he isn't, lol.
they done a Awesome show last night in Kansas city mo
Yes
Rock those strings
I have those exact same pants!
Nice guitar work! Lookout Jimmy.
Nice
If you're drunk and squint real hard the band actually looks like zeppelin
hey man ur right i can’t even tell that plant is 50 years old in this
Great video! That's exactly where I stand when I see Zoso. Often, you can get all four band members in the picture. What camera or phone did you use?
This one was shot with with my iPhone7. Guitarist John McDaniel gets credit for "zooming" effects!
Great
hahahaha i can hear a guy sing "living loving maid" 😂 but, they played "inmmigrant song" 😂
"with a purple..." Ahh duh
LMAOOOOO
Gostei,mandaram bem.
hardrock en pura esencia....
That guitar play should get the lion's share of the money
Boy there is no shortage of Page impersonators these days and they're all good for sure. The originals were "The White" with Michael White. I think I saw them for the first time around 1980.
it looks real
Per fect Jimmy Page random lead!
That guy really wanted living loving maid to be followed like the original album lol
This a great band. This is their video, so that means we are in their house.
So be respectful.(don't be an asshole) Don't bring up topic about another band or guitarist in to their house.
Plant had long, curly, thick, full hair in the early to mid 70s. Zoso Plant's hair is shorter, thinner, and has a style like Harry from Dumb and Dumber.
Why so many thumbs down 👎🏼 ?
He sure gets the Page tone right.
Wtf, i was watching Page till i read review, impressive
Curious as to what camera was used to film this? Very sharp and clear...great job!
Anyone know where I can find Jimmys jacket
great band playing here, after you all decided whose the best jimmy
man the guitarists hands even just LOOK like jimmy pages hands. idk how to explain that
Is the lead singer the guy from Dumb and Dumber?
With a purp.........dun duna dun dun
Ah, yes, the 70s, back when weed was weak and illegal, but you could catch a nice buzz and a good rock act.
Back in the '70s there were plenty of alternatives to weed. From Temple Balls to Lebanese Red! Then it was about getting stoned. Now it's about getting completely off your tits!
Don't be a chump. Why would I? Your eighth of double zero brought you to this page. You think that's a good thing do you?
This isn't the 70s
Brilliant. Beg to differ on the 1973 bit. The solo in Heartbreaker was straight from Knebworth in 79.
Led Zeppelin played for the last time in Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Arena in front of 11,000 fans on July 10, 1973, playing a 2 hour 40 min set that included Heartbreaker. czcams.com/video/H45obtG8_G0/video.html
1.The link doesn't have Heartbreaker in it
2. I'll give you that Jimmy didn't change his solo much from '73 to '79.
3. First time I've heard a band (including Zep) emulate the tremolo/Leslie on JPJ's bass - sublime
