Have you played THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME yet. No but I would like to play THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME pretty soon
THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME looks fun. I can't wait to play THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME. Thanks for the video about THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME. DON! DON! THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME!
As Einstein once said, If you judge a Fish's ability to play the ONE PIECE CARD GAME, it will live its whole life in the ONE PIECE CARD GAME because ONE PIECE CARD GAME, ONE PIECE CARD GAME.
So what you’re saying is this tutorial video for THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME will teach me how to play THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME?! That’s awesome! DON! DON!
THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME! THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME IS REAL!
I enjoyed this video about THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME. Did you watch the video about THE ONE PIECE CARD GAME?
This tutorial is literally _perfect._ Just pair with the tcg learning app and it’s so easy to understand the rules
My problem is understanding the japanese written on the cards. Do i have to memorize them?
@@akaishuiichi7725 just write their info down a piece of paper
It's annoying as f
Tcg learning app?

BASIC SUMMARY:
1. Deck composed of:
- 1 Leader card
- 50 Characters (main deck)
- 10 DON!! cards
2. Observe the playmat
3. Start game and decide who goes first. Each player draws 5 cards. Take a number of cards from the top of your deck equal to the leader card's Life Value and place them face down in the Life area.
BATTLE POSITIONS
- Active (vertical)
- Rest (horizontal)
SUMMONING A CHARACTER CARD
Each character card has a cost that's needed to summon it. To pay a card's cost, you rest the required no. of DON!! cards.
START
Unrest your cards > Draw one card (player going first skips) > Take 2 DON!! cards (player going first takes only one) > Attack > End
ATTACK
To attack rest the leader /character card. You can attack the opponent's leader, or one of their character cards. If your card's attack points r higher or equal to your opponent's card, your card wins the combat. When a leader loses in battle after being attacked, the player takes one Life card from their Life slot and adds it to their hand. Nether player can attack on their first turn. A monster can't attack the turn it is summoned. If a character card loses in combat, it is sent to trash zone.
* You can give active DON!! cards to your card to increase its attack power by 1000 (only for your turn)
* Characters having a trigger sign on them can active their trigger effect without paying any cost.
* When one of your character is attacked, you can use counter effects. After using its effectsend it to the trash zone
6:10 You can only attack a rested character.
and I didnt get why Kaido suddenly got 4000 after trashing dons
@@MonographicSingleheaded There are certain cards that have effects called "counter" these type of cards are usually called in card games as "hand traps", the idea is that you can use them from your hand to do all kinds of nasty things. In the video, Tom used the card called "blast breath" if you use it from your hand when the opponent attacks your card, you can send back 1 DON card from the field and raise your cards power by 4000 for that attack only.
I have a few questions if anyone can answer
-can you only attack while in rested position?
-in the video when he defended her attacks wouldn't her cards get trashed because she lost the battle?
-what happens to DON cards if they're on a character card and that character card gets trashed? Do they go in trash or back to your DON pile?
-how or why can you attack leader cards if you have character cards active
-I know it says that the number in the top left corner the amount of DON cards that needs to be activated but is it also the amount for DON cards to be placed on that card as well?
@@vantroba15 I try to answer all of your questions.
- When you attack with a character card (or a leader card) you need to rest them to initiate the attack, thus if a character is rested in the first place, they cant attack.
- One piece tcg works a bit different form games like Yugioh, in this game, attacking characters can not get destroyed during battle (unless the opponent has a specific effect ofc) so even if your character has 1000 power and your opponent 2000, as long as you were the one initiating the attack, your character is safe.
-They go back to your Cost area as rested DONs
- You just rest your character and initiate an attack, keep in mind, the only way you can deal dmg, is by having the same power or higher than your opponents leader card, again unlike in something like yugioh, the number of character your opponent has on the field doesnt affect whether you can attack a leader or not, unless they have a blocker card, you are free to attack the leader with any character/ your own leader.
-You dont place DON cards on your cards when you summon them, you just rest your don cards. For example in the video when she summons Chopper, he is a 1 cost character card and she had 1 DON card, so all she had to do was turn the DON card horizontally (making it rested) and place chopper to the field. placing DON cards on your characters is completely up to you, you can put 10 DON cards on 1 character if you want (each giving 1000 power) there are certain character cards that can only use their effects when you put a certain number of DON card on them, like Usopp in this video.
This tutorial is well made. Explanations were fun, clear and concise. Props to the folks behind it. =)
Its like the big 3 tcgs had a baby.
Okay, I can get behind this. I like that they have counter effects on cards. Makes it more interesting. You have to think about your actions because they might not work out with your opponents counter effects. I can't wait to get my hands on this.
I play blue so a counter deck seems like what i would like on this game
True, you can't just spam attacks without thinking, so you either gotta go all-out with incredibly powerful attacks so they can't defend it or just do a weak one and risk getting countered, it's fun how the game works.
I’ve never seen a single episode of one piece but my friends love that show, and they bought me a starter deck so I can join them as we learn how to play. I ended having a lot of fun, so now I want to build a competitive deck and study what’s meta at the moment lol.
Im trying to convince my wife to buy me one for christmas lol
Honestly the product is so hard to get rn (unless you are buying singles off of tcgplayer)
I would wait until the next set drops.
Meta is still all over the place since the card pool is so limited. Rn Zorro - R/G Law - and Kid seem to be at the top. At least in my meta and what I see on CZcams.
When the next set drops it will offer more diversity and options.
By all means if you wanna go for it now do so! Just offering advice.
Happy Holidays to everyone who reads this!!!
I need to start the one piece anime grind...
It's a fucking manga
@@powerfulberry237 your point
I was so invested in the game that I wanted to see who will win the fight among those two.
Same :D
Me to
Great tutorial! We're just starting to get into playing and collecting the OP Card Game, and so far, it's been really fun!
just picked up my first starter deck today (the monkey d luffy one) from a convention and I decided to watch the tutorial video. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be!!
Going to my local tcgstore for a tournament tomorrow and I've never played. Thankyou for the clear instructions, I can't wait to give this game a go.
Just got my first two structure decks.
Booster box in the mail soon hopefully.
So stoked
What a great tutorial video. I’ve been wanting to get into this game
Great video, easy to understand. I just picked up the Big mom starter deck and get the basic rulings
I played this for the first time ever today with friends at a tcg store, thanks for the vid we used it to learn how to play and had lots of fun!
I like the format this video has with the explanation in a cute and simple way ^^
Just reserved my Started decks. Cant wait to play this. Im a fan and been watching OP since 2004, You have no Idea how long I have waited for this game to be released, I literally cried of exciment when I found out it was being released.
Thanks guys I subed to you because it is so helpful 😊
Great video. There’s not many tutorials that make it this simple to learn
omg thanks so much im just now starting and THIS HELPED ME 100%
Really impressive tutorial!
"A card game where you built a deck of your favorite characters to battle with" oh sweet naive summer child, thats not how TCGs work
Let them dream, man. Let them dream...
Okay I'm interested in this. Counter effects to counter effects, I can dig it.
This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen fr a card game I haven’t to admit this makes me want to get into the game
After trying out this TCG with a friend today at my local game store (we both played for the very first time), the only part we struggled with was how Combat was conducted during the main phase. We thought similar to how Magic the Gathering combat works, but not quite the same. Literally the reason why I looked up this tutorial, for more clarification.
Note: the local game store did not hold any OPCG product, so I had brought two of my own starter decks (Kaido and Sakazuki) for both me and my friend- she sorta understood the game as did I.
Either way, I'm a One Piece fan, so collecting the sets isn't out of the question!!
I just played it for the first time ever with friends at my local gamestore too! It's very fun but a bit confusing at first.
I play just lost😢
Amazing!
This tutorial reminds me to just have fun when playing any card game
Id like to respond before fun resolves, tapping 2 mana and countering your fun, and destroying 8 of your lands then letting you discard your hand and sacrifice 20 permanents
I wish the One Piece tcg would come to South Africa as soon as possible. I need this in my life. It looks so fun and exciting to play with friends. I literally cant wait for you to come here.
Greatly made and greatly explained
Looks awesome
This is a cute and cool tutorial!
This is soooo helpful thank you so much but I wanted to see how the game ended 😂
I'm still waiting for a thriller bark/halloween themed deck. I wonder when they will get introduced, also hopefully they do fair in game
oh hell yeah. finally! we get the thriller bark/moria/perona updates on op-06
they are literally on top of the meta lol
Nice!!
Great tutorial. This is how you do it!
I'll be waiting for the videogame!
Das Spiel macht echt Spaß
Ich freue mich auf neue Sets
LG ❤
Nice!
Best ever!
Just bought all 4 decks in a bundle. Interested in collecting these and play a bit. Hoping we see more new decks. Won’t ship till December tho :(
Did they arrive yet
@@acetheneko Yep. Arrived on the 6th of December. I think Amazon sells them now too as well, but they marked up the prices.
Looks really fun they play one piece at my local shop here at infinity cards down in sugarland tx
I LOVE One Piece! I went to a local game store to buy sleeves for some cards I have and then saw the One Piece starter deck’s. I lost my mind.
I wanna get into this game, it seems fun.
Please let us play and use the Walords and Worst Generation decks on the app!! I wann practice before the Prerelease event!!!! :)
Love From a Vaush and Tekking101 fan!
Wow I feel like I understand the game but I don’t have the cards Time to order to order some and try it out 🔥🔥🔥
Great tutorial, this will be a good reference for new players on release events :)
What players at release events?
This is a collectible which only pretends to be a game because that's how Bandai got the license.
There will be no release events or people playing at locals.
they should really make an app to play with all the cards. I can find locals to play with but covid still a thing and the holidays near by; I don't wanna risk anything. This same happened with the digion tcg for me
This is so adorable, but it did teach me how to play.
very cool
The sound of cards being drawn in this video sounds so satisfying for some reason.
Can't wait for a real Digital Edition like DBSCG-FusionWorld (with French Translation)
Looks really simple and fun. Do I get to take a look and choose the card I want to add from my Life pile to my hand?
0:46 Imagine being able to buy a Bandai starter deck without getting ripped off by scalpers.
I really hope Don cards are given in booster packs to bulk up the packets.
nice video :D sadly dont german release planned :D
I'm about to get the black Luffy deck soon.
Reminds me of cardfight vanguard when it just came out But much more simple I’ll give this game a try maybe I’ll start a CZcams channel on pack opening for this
you wont
The game is very beautiful and wonderful, and we hope that it will be released as soon as possible
It’s released
i mean the game is kinda cool but like there are 3 mains issues
1. being able to use don cards to add 1000 power to a character is broken, theres almost no reason to play any other way than just don stacking on one character, it needs to be removed or nerfed hard
2. you lose 5 random cards at the start of the game just to count hp, possibly losing cornerstone(s) to your gameplan. just use tokens or smth
EDIT: ok drawing the lost health into your hand is a cool idea tbh, but it could still majorly screw you over
3. give every character at least some kind of mechanic, or at least like 90% of them, its even worse when you consider that all of a characters stats are boiled down to a single power level, essentially removing any kind of personality in the card and making no more than decent enough art with a number on it
1. it only helps when you attack opponent and not defense. If you use all the don to power up, u only successful deal 1 damage, while u r vunlernable for mutiple attack in the next turn. so u need to be effective in using the don for casting and even many of the time for protecting your characters to have an overall advantage.
2. it is a cool idea, cause eventually you will still draw these cards on top of the drawing phrase unless there is going to be a drawing deck build in the future to drain your deck fast.
3. there are vanilla char like what you see with no ability and purely stat based, but there are also many char that has unique interesting ability that tights them quite neatly to the one piece story too. i heard that law ability is to switch cards, while whitebeard leader force you to draw one hp cards to your hand per turn(basically is -1hp per turn, dying state and need to end the game fast).
I like this TCG ❤
This was a lot of help, THANKS!
i remember this song from Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum for ps2
Where can we see a list of shops that carries the game? I can't find the starter decks anywhere?
So good just ❤ the game,
Wow, there is a lot more to this game than i thought
I do like that Bandai basically made all their TCGs have the main and combat phases mixed together.
I never knew this was a thing until today
One piece bandai card game is similar with vanguard but the preparation is a little bit different and the rule is much more easier...
Just got the black Luffy deck and the big mom deck 😎🏴☠️
Aite I think I understand a little now imma go buy more later
I've bought two boosters (5 cards each), will that be enough to play the game? The bigger packs are too expensive in my country ;_(
Whomever made this video needs to make one EXACTLY like this for the DBS TCG.
Hasn't that game been discontinued?
@@Skramzgangit no. It's alive and well
Ya yo YA YO!
Dreamin! Don't give it up, Luffy!
Dreamin! Don't give it up, Emma!
Dreamin! Don't give it up, Tom!
Dreamin! Don't give it up, Nami!
I would love if you guys brought back the Naruto Bandai CCG
Will it be possible to do draft or mini master like on the Magic cardgame?
Can you add a more extensive rules video? Like how do the events actually work, and can you use two of the same event cards at the same time?
love this tutorial, my bf cant explain it for sh*t cuz he obsessed with it, i can finally surprise him by being able to play it
I play like 15 different card games , and yes I know that’s a lot lol, but I love card games and man it just feels like games feel the same
what are the ones you prefer most? I like Flesh and Blood. I'guess this One Piece Card game will be to easy in its mechanics... I just like it because it is One Piece and the Art Work is okay...
@@sunisshining1582 the one I like the most would have to b Yugioh and magic, but if I couldn’t choose one of the big three it would def be hearthstone
The rush on Luffy left me with a question of two things. If i had another character with counter, can i use it due to it being a different attacker. Also, he bumped his kiado character with an event card to like 9k, did that go away after the fight with the leader Luffy card?
It's a shame you can only play with and try out only two of the four decks on the app. The other two decks should be added imo.
When she drew 5 Frankie’s I was like sssssuuuuuuuuuuuper!!!!!!
Looks legit
that first hand was “SUUUUUPER!! YEAAAA!!” - Franky
This damn near like vanguard but different spin on it 😂🔥
The animation is so cute😂
Hmmm “so many Franky cards” I would say you were short one. #suuuuuuuuppppeeerr!
What happens to the don cards when a character that has a don card is trashed? Do the don cards go back to the don deck or get trashed or go back to the cost area
Look like Force of Will with energy card like pokemon and life point work like in Digimon.
mfw the voice actor for the girl changes 4 minutes in
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do your Don Cards go back to the cost area after they’ve been added for attack on your next turn?
With that last event counter, can you send one of your attached dons instead?
Can I activate Characters ability at the same turn it was summoned. Like Garp ST06 0-12
after you equip a Don to your character, does it stay equipped for the rest of the game or can it be unequiped?
where I dowload the app hahaha. Plz someone give me some cards this crhistmas!
Tutorial muito bem-vindo #bandai #cardgame #onepiece #tcg 🙋 ...
3:30 Emma giving my man Tom some attitude
FINISH THE GAMEEEEI WANT TO KNOW WHO WONN!!!!!
Few questions. How many don cards need to go into the don card pile at the start of the game? How many don cards are you allowed to have in the store area? Finally whats the stage area for?
10 DON in the starting pile. You can only have those 10 in the store area (2 each turn via phase, there are also other cards that let you add DON outside of the phase), so there are wasy to use more than the 10 on a turn with creativity
.
Stage area is for Stage cards. Only starters RED and PURPLE have Stages with Going Merry and Onigashima. More stages will be coming in later boosters and starters.
