After watching many TCG youtubers talk about the state of db super masters and fusion world, I'm surprised to read so many positive comments, I'm also excited for fusion world after watching this, and it was very well explained.
Actually it was the fusion world that show me the masters and masters is way better than fusion, hope they upgrade the fusion to masters in the future!
The game is really good and entertaining.
As an experienced TCG player I can tell they finally hit the pot about a good DB card game
I’m disappointed that the digital version isn’t heading to consoles i really hope it does at some point

@@-PVL93- Konami took almost 25 years to make even one single live-service Yu-Gi-Oh game that was on all platforms, let alone the normal OCG, let alone on console (DS was the official tournament game and PSP didn't play standard Yu-Gi-Oh, 3DS didn't really exist).
Gwent is most certainly not on consoles if you looked, so that's just not true. The Xbox Preview (Beta) certainly doesn't count as a release and it's not available now anywhere. Back to the PC/Mobile only prison.
With the very new exception of YGO Master Duel, there's not one online card game available digitally on every platform, some aren't even actively available on the platforms they are anymore. DragonBall Card Warriors never got the separate app and is has stopped development. Hearthstone never escaped PC/Mobile even though a Switch version was proposed, neither did Runeterra, Marvel Snap hasn't yet. Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist wasn't live service updated nor did it have the same features everywhere (Nintendo Switch vers LACKS Cloud Saves, so your data is lost if you change to another Switch and no version has cross-progression). Cardfight Vanguard's games are PC and Switch only and obscenely expensive (and surprisingly has Cloud Saves on Switch unlike LOTD).
Even Ubisoft's UNO doesn't support cross-platform-progression, only same family and cross-play (you also had to buy it twice on a few).
Master Duel is the irregularity, especially with cross-progression (especially with Sony's policies about cross-platform play+progression).
Most card games don't even have a digital version even if new(!), like Digimon Card Game (7th version), Fire Emblem Cipher, or Final Fantasy TCG.
This is Bandai-Namco. DragonBall Heroes original is Japan arcade only, The console game (World Mission) is a glitchy, mistranslated mess even for a mostly single player game. DragonBall Card Warriors had the separate app (from Kakarot) canceled and now it's dead. Digimon Card Game didn't even get a digital version. Give up hope.

fr me too! I plan on playing it this way until the community grows in my area, cant be bothered getting into ANOTHER dragon ball tcg only for it to fail again, this is like the 3rd one for me if it dies out

especially since you can play it digital and don't have to depend on the local card store to be able to play it.
This is particularly the problem with Battle Spirits Saga and sometimes with Digimon.
Dont do the same misstake than pokémon TCG live, add a Story mode and controller support on PC like Yu-Gi-Oh Master did, and dont forget to port a mobile version quick, everyone already playing on mobile in 2024.

Seems like an easier version of the OG DBZ card game. I loved that game. All my friends played it. I even played in regionals. I'm stoked for this. I want to play the digital version first though. I hope it doesn't die out like most card games.

Honestly, I liked the old version better. I hope they add more mechanics to it in the future because its just too simple right now.

Requiring the deck to be comprised of cards matching the color of the leader makes sense, but it seems like it'd restrict deck building a bit as well. Also, it's odd that if the attacker and defender have the same power level, the attacker wins. Wouldn't encouraging the attacker to combine effects to pull ahead be more fun?

This is a soft reboot. Old game is now DBS Masters, this is DBS Fusion World. Different cards, different games. Not compatible together either. FW will have online app/version too.

So much for the 4 zenkai decks i bought...
Just quit the digital client today due to the horrid F2P system. PLAYING FOR A MONTH WITH A STARTER DECK IS NOT FUN. I have been able to get a single relevent SR in 20 packs, and can't even build a second deck and have been playing since launch. Don't even consider playing this digitally if you aren't buying in physically.
So basically Duel Masters? Looks very fun! Understood everything except the Combo Area part.
Can you awaken the moment you get hit to 4 life or do you have to wait til your turn?
Other than the energy marker, this is the same game that's already out (Dragon Ball Super Card Game) but reduced back to Set 1. Like there's no other difference at all that I can tell mechanically.
Well the thing is Japan now are in charge of this game for the Japanese area so that’s why they are essentially soft rebooting this game
That’s because there isn’t any difference. It’s mechanically the exact same game but with cards with simple effects. Because the current cards are more complex and they couldn’t be bothered to add them so they just made a new game… that functions exactly the same
You also cannot have more than one color in your deck (until multicolored leaders I suppose) as it says in the video your cards have to have the same color as your leader
The mulligan has also been altered. Now you have to mulligan all cards or no cards. Instead of the old system of mulliganing only the cards you want
No matter what you all think of this, no dual color makes this game Dead on Arrival.
The fact they would just remove all of that customization with deck construction is beyond me

Fusion world decks are coming with codes for the sim, which means it most likely will be coming out around the time of the starter deck relases.
Really want to play the digital version....hopefully it's gacha...I don't own cards😅

It shares way more DNA with the old DBS card game than Piece. It just uses Piece's (frankly worse) counter window. In that the counter window doesn't exist anymore.
So basicly every character can attack the turn they are played?

I bought a new PC because my last one died. How do I transfer my fusion world account(where i spent a lot of money) from that PC, to my new PC ? I'm very confused and help would be great. Thank you.

Still using the "Upside down" mana system....i hate that so much , just have a side deck for energy like "don" cards in One Piece tcg
That’s too easy. Getting rid of cards for energy makes the game more engaging.
Ugh this feels like a watered down version of masters. Kind of like going backwards. I like all games but this the equivalent of getting my profile deleted.
For more casual people like me it's actually exiting because tbh I've never even heard of masters as I see people calling what I'm assuming is a previous db card game until now. To me it seems pretty cool and that's really all I can say. I also see people complaining about the card designs but I don't really see the issue

To my knowledge, you don’t have to pay any cost to add combo power.

So, this is like speed duels for db right? Like you have the speed duel format and the master ruling format right? So fusion world is a side mode and regular db is the master ruling aka the main game right?

There is no battle phase. During main phase you can play cards and attack in any order you wish as long as you have the resources to do so.

dont get this game it is apparently far from ready to be released atleast from my experience when i try to play the game in ranked, because nobody plays in free mode i guess, all my turns are auto skipped. I have tried looking up a solution and all i find are people who also had the same problem in the beta and it was never addressed

Masters isn't available in Japan. Fusion World is.
