- This is a match video testing out the other 2 Starter Decks from Bandai's new One Piece TCG: Shichibukai (Seven Warlords of the Sea) and Worst Generation. They bring pretty interesting and fitting mechanics for Blue and Green!

So after testing all 4 Starter Decks, I definitely like these 2 more than Straw Hats and Beasts Pirates. But between these 2, I think I'm leaning towards Green a bit more? But will have to wait and see how all decks run after the first booster. Theme-wise, the 2 decks I'm most hyped to try building in OP-01 for now are Baroque Works and Oden's Nine Red Scabbards. And beyond that, definitely the Black Marines deck. Still though... urgh this game is tough LOL I keep second-guessing my moves while playing and after. Definitely need to put in more practice now that I've tried all of them out.
I'm totally going for green and Nine Red Scabbards and all that just because of Yamato. Best girl, best deck!
I find the DON mechanics very interesting in this game. I think over all I prefer the digimon tcg resource system but how DON is used,is very cool
I am building the Doflamingo deck, and when the next booster set comes out, I want to build the Black Marine deck.

Don't think so, but you can easily make it yourself! I'm using the official playmat taken from the official OPTCG website

You can't just pick whatever card you want from your life area when you take damage. It has to be the top card that goes to your hand.
Actually it can be any of them. Rules even say you "choose" which life to take.
@@TheYambinoThe rulebook says to take from the top. That's why there are cards which restructure your life pile, that would be pointless if you could just pick.

Does any one know if you can “float” don? Just saw that Oden untaps don so i wanna know if you can technically accelerate don by adding 2 don then untapping and trying to pay for something that cost 4. Can you tell I play magic lmao
No you can't, you need 4 don cards in a single moment to pay 4 cost
Do the decks have color or type restrictions? Or are you free to play whatever cards you see fit
You can only use cards with the same colour as your Leader, tho the first booster already introduces Leaders with 2 colours
It feels odd that Green in this game doesn't accelerate the Don!! Gain. But it's probably because the max is 10 Don!! Still feels odd.
Purple is the ramp colour.

Late to this video but does anyone know when a counter card says "this battle" for example in terms of the leader gaining power, is that only for ONE attack or does it last the whole battle phase?

Yup, it has no turn specification
Can the player going second attack on his first turn (technically second turn of the game.)

Now how does kid use his effect twice, if it said once per turn?
Every monster can make 1 Attack, with or without effect - so, Kid attacks (his normal attack), then he activates his effect (the effect that he can get ready again is once per turn), so he gets ready and can attack a second time - THEN you CANT activate that effect to get him ready again for this turn - hope i answered your question understandable^^
I wish the card template wasnt so similar to digimon TCG
because it's released by Bandai, it's to be expected. what i'm disappointed is because it's more of a collab, Bandai did not really put much effort to it. At the very least every Digimon card was made with original drawings. Would be great if the card have more original drawing not just for the rares or at least a decent drawing/more from manga (being colored) rather than a screenshot from Anime.

🤔 Hmm... These blue and green deck strategies seem similar lol
With most of the ST cards being vanilla, I guess the distinction isn't as strong yet. They do feel quite different when you're piloting them tho! But I guess not as widely different as Red vs Purple. After all, Blue and Green in other card games also tend to share a bit of overlap (untap vs tap, sides of the same coin)

You can't choose the card in your life anymore. You have to pick the one on top.
