I was The 2nd owner of this wagon . I'm from Modesto California. We had it repaired with original 2tone colors it has now. And we also had it reulphostored from top to bottom to front and back. It took us 3 years to find the original roof rack. And the original design of the 3rd seat. It was And still is a beautiful wagon. I have many pictures of it. We also had installed seatbelts. Which I didn't see in the video. We had kids so we added the seat belts. Beautiful video. It brought back many memories.

I flew out to Palm Springs to specifically buy this car from you as it is very close to wagon I grew up with. Who was the original owner? Did it live on a farm in Modesto? I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
My parents bought a used 1959 Ranch Wagon in this exact color scheme. I remember the day that they bought it in 1962. It was a 292 V8 with a 3 speed manual transmission and overdrive.

Same color as my 59 Galaxy hardtop..bought it in 1965 while taking Junior College auto shop. 352" with 3 speed and O.D..
Bought an code 427" out of a wrecked drag car..rebuilt it and first hard pull scattered the tranny...trip to a junkyard and scored an R code 4 speed and rear end..all performance parts outof a second wrecked drag car. Changed out my five spoke mags for steel rims and full hubcaps with a set of Lutz cheater slicks..passed it off as a stocker when street racing Chevys..great fun messing with them...

We had a 59 Ford Country Sedan, bought brand new. Black/white two tone, red/white interior.

Nice wagon. The A/C unit in this vehicle is an add on unit. Factory was either Polar Aire or Select Aire.

My Dad bought a 1959 Ford Galaxie new 2 door post it was the same color had a 352/ 300 hp with 3 speed with overdrive a beautiful car

The "Thunderbird special" should have been the 312 V8..plus the 332 and the 352 FE V-8 engines were offered.

My parents had a 1959 country squire with a 292 and a cruise-o-matic . I vaguely remember it . There were 7 of us plus my parents. So we filled it up. Too bad someone hit my mom head on in 1968. They replaced it with a 1963 Dodge wagon. The dodge was a good car with A/c. But it was UGLY.

@@Mikesclassicautoworld My only memory as a 4 year old was that she had to go to the hospital a couple of days , got out, and went back again a day or two. But she was still able to complete that semester in school in her “new” 1963 Dodge wagon with the push button shifter.
