Warren is to be commended for being such an excellent steward of this fine piece of automotive history. 👍❤
For sure and he happens to be a really nice guy as well. Thanks for watching.
I've always loved the 1960 Polara and Matador, especially in this gorgeous metallic blue paint. As much as I like as is, I've always wondered if it would have been better received had they moved the fin back just a bit - may 4-6 inches or so?
Kinda like the 1960 Dodge Dart Phoenix? Thanks for watching.
Such an evil look. Exactly what a dodge should look like.
👍Thanks for watching.
Lovely Vehical
Thanks for watching.
Love it. Hopefully I’ll be able to pull off acquiring one.
I hope so. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
Got one just this ones twin. Love it
NICE!!! Thanks for watching.
Beautiful!!!
Thanks for watching.
As a pervious owner it is apparent you just fell out of a tree.
Nope. I stopped climbing trees a long time ago. Thanks for watching.
A superb restoration I think this may be the car I tried to buy many years ago. That car was in Florida and missing the Grill. It was apparently originally owned by Princess Marie of Romania! And one of about 6 made. Very rare and desirable.
Wow. 👍Thanks for watching.
Thanks, interesting m Classic build up, from the 4 DOOR LOADED Dodge, etc……
Thanks for watching.
I want one so bad.
I hear you. Thanks for watching.
MOPAR cars were the pinnacle of style and beauty in the late 50's. It took GM 2 years to catch up, Ford 3 years. I like DeSoto's better, but this is a real head turner. MOPAR started out the decade looking like more like boxes on wheels.
👍Thanks for watching Neil.
My 83 has several rare options. Rally guage package. Telescopic steering wheel, reminder package, Astroroof, Twilight Sentinal, passenger recliner, auto door locks, fiber optic key hole, and ultra rare F41 suspension.
Sounds like a very nice car. Thanks for watching Dave.
Nice car. I restored a 1956 Desoto it cost as much as it was worth. Did all the work my self took me 3 years
Nice! 👍Thanks for watching Lonnie.
Beautiful car!
👍Thanks for watching John.
That was a great collection there at the museum. Lots of beautiful vehicles. Hard to pick a favorite but I sure did like that 1960 Plymouth Fury convertible. Really gorgeous. TY for taking us along Mike. 👍
👍Thanks for watching Rusty.
I have the coupe version of this car in Sydney Australia - The hubcaps can be better fixed by silicon the hubcaps to the wheel and let dry for 3 hours minimum - I also have very white walls by using a common wheel cleaner - like to know what this owner uses czcams.com/video/JKPpOuCOMiw/video.html Sydney Australia - where me and my 1956 Lincoln Premiere live- czcams.com/video/3YzWgTLjlUc/video.html
Thanks for that info Marcus.👍 Thanks for watching.
That's a stunner, I've never had a look at one up close before! Thank you.
You're welcome James. Thanks for watching.
Good job Walter and Wally 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for watching Rusty.
Mike, We are so honored that you took time to post this. We have been invited to bring the Chrysler to this year's Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance in September.
super beautiful New Yorker sir. I know you are proud of it. 🙂👍👍
Thats great Walter. Congratulations. Radnor Hunt is an amazing show. I know you'll enjoy it.
Bravo Walter! That’s a magnificent restoration, all the recognition and awards are well deserved. Congratulations!
I owned a '57 Dodge hardtop, as a collector car, for over a decade....trust me, I appreciate ALL the authentic details and the overall "correctness" of this stunning Chrysler convertible. Simply remarkable & fantastic work, thanks for sharing! I enjoyed this video very much.
You're very welcome. Thanks for watching.
"Fintastic" 57 New Yorker. Thank you, Wally and Family, for sharing this wonderful automobile.
Thanks for watching Chris.
Congratulations to the owner on a world-class restoration of a beautiful car👍❤
For sure. Thanks for watching Jay.
I was at Charlotte with one of my other cars this Spring and met Wally and his wife. They were so kind and generous in giving me contacts in the Forward Look world as I have a 57 Windsor 2 Door hardtop that needs a few finishing touches. Their car is stunning and they are nice folks!
They were so nice to me and generous with their time. So glad they were invited to Philly for this concours. I could have spent the day with them. You meet the best people in this hobby. Thanks for watching.
I recall when I was about 8 years old, my Uncle bought a new 57 Windsor 2 door hardtop. It was white with dark green and had the single headlights. I was so impressed, it made me a Chrysler and Imperial lover to this day. My first car was a 59 New Yorker.
@@66skate Very nice. Thanks for watching.
Freaking gorgeous. That blue!
haha well said Steve. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely stunning in every way but I did notice that it needs a hood pad. This is Virgil Exner at his elegant best.
Absolutely stunning is a good way to put it. Thanks for watching Bob.
La plus belle de tout les temps .
Un bijou
Oh gosh Mike, that is one gorgeous car. !!!!👍👍. Super sweet clean engine. That Regatta Blue color is outstanding. What a great choice the owner made over the original black. You can tell he is so proud of this car and his work on it. 😊😊 He had every piece of original paper information and sales information. From what I could see on original sales ticket, price was $3975. Not an inexpensive car back then. Liked this one Mike, TY sir.
For sure. Their pride is well deserved. Thanks for watching Rusty.
Considering the speed at which Chrysler was assembling cars in 1957, I am sure that this one is in better condition than when it left the factory.
Definitely Dan. Thanks for watching.
@@MikesclassicautoworldYes, hopefully this car got some proper anti-rust protection.
No he’s wrong. 4 generations of Toronados. The 60s. 70s. Then 79-85. Then 86 -91.
I truly believe this is the last car with classic car styling
Thanks for watching Arlene.
My Mom and Dad had a beautiful 84 Toronado Caliente. It was so nice and no problems. They drove it up to 96,000 and traded for another Toro. These were kind of rare. Collectors should pay attention
I agree. Thanks for watching Ed.
And I bought the '91 Cita model in Cobalt blue, brand new. I've since owned the '95 prelude, Toyota GTS 86, 2016 C300 coupe, and now 2024 BMW 430i, but the Prelude remains my favourite of all :)
All very nice cars. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@Mikesclassicautoworld A real pleasure to watch your video, thanks 👍
Slowing sales of the traditional Morgan roadsters in the early 1960s prompted Peter Morgan to think about adding an additional model to the lineup. Bodies were made of thick glassfibre by EB Plastics. The body was then attached to a standard "Z" section ladder chassis manufactured by industry giant Rubery Owen. The Plus 4 Plus was much more expensive than the Plus 4, which didn't help sales. A fire at EB Plastics ended production after 26 cars were made and two spare body shells. One shell was later used to repair an accident damaged US car and the last remaining body was built up by an European Morgan enthusiast. Traditional Morgan 4/4s and Plus 4s have body frames made of English or Belgian ash. No Morgan ever had a chassis made of wood.
Thanks for the info Dave and thanks for watching.👍
Mercedes Benz had the O 321. Great for Europe, but just not suitable for US transcontinental services.
Thanks for watching Alex.
Guess what. The frame is made of wood.
Stunning
Yep. Thanks for watching.
What size are the rear tires? I have a 1975 grand am 400. Love it!
Sorry Craig I didn't catch it. Thanks for watching.
Very nice car but much more interesting is the unique Lamborghini 350 spider on the rear of the Bentley!
I have a video of that as well on my channel. Subscribe and you'll catch all of them when they're posted. Thanks for watching.
Fiberglass body and Left Hand Drive. Most were right handed. Extremely rare.
Thanks for watching.
⭐
👍🏻
Thanks for watching.
Really a cool car Mike. NOT at all a fan of that bubble fish bowl roof line though. Clunked up what could have been a sleek looking car. Of course, JMO. Love the exterior trunk lid hinges, long front nose and the interior. 👍 TY for showing.
You're welcome Rusty. Thanks for watching.
Spotted the 1958 and 1968 Imperials, also the 1962 Cadillac Biarritz. All gorgeous...
Good eye Charles. Thanks for watching.
Like to see the aftermarket fender skirts on the 1957 Dodge Royal V-8, 2 door hardtop. I thought fender skirts are not offered on any Chrysler cars between 1942 and 1965, save for 1951 and 1952 Chrysler Imperial models.
Thanks for watching Dave.
Awesome busses. Totally cooler than the "one level" busses. Word correct made me spell busses like this🫤
Thanks for watching Ted.
I think you saw a lot of young ladies driving these because that's what you noticed 🙂
LOL you might be right. Thanks for watching Steve.
My dad had one of these, it was stolen in 1976, and never recovered. His was ugly green, three speed with overdrive. I would love to find another one.
Wow thats to bad. They're out there if you want one. Thanks for watching.
61-63 T-Birds, my all-time Ford favorites. Thanks for posting!
I love em to. Thanks for watching Mike.
