Hi friends! It's been a while since last time I posted long video! How are you? I'm going to do a Q & A video for next one! If you have any question about Japanese cooking, Japanese culture, life in Japan, and etc, please leave a commentđI miss all of you~~†MIwa
What inspired you to cook some Japanese dishes and how does it changed your life? Miwa this is my question for you!
Itâs been awhile since Iâve seen one of your videoâs. Looks delicious! Hope you and the family are well! Iâm off to go look at this tableware.
Welcome back!! i'm so happy to have you here! Yes, my family has been doing well. My kids are now both at the elementary school now! I hope you will find the items you like!
@@MiwasJapaneseCooking they are most beautiful items! Love the set of bowls, well loved everything but especially them! I bet your days are a little quieter now with them in school. Do they love school and learning? Mine did when they were little and then hated it as they got older.
These tableware looks amazing miss!
Thank you so much Jade! It's the effort of craftmans! I'm so happy that you like them!
Love ur tableware designs â€â€â€â€ Ur plating is always so pretty like u đđđđ
@@BoSSFamiliaRandomz I always encouraged by someone like you who has uplifting and kind heartâ€ïžThank you so muchđ
Hi Miwa! Iâve been rewatching many past videos and have questions about various condiments and other aspects of Japanese culture! I require a gluten free diet due to celiac disease and itâs sometimes difficult to find gluten free condiments. Is there a difference between mirin, rice wine, and rice wine vinegar?
Also, how is overall Japanese lifestyle/culture different to a more âwesternâ culture. What are some unknown normalities to Japanese life that are different? What sorts of typical holiday food is served at various holiday celebrations? What are some places you recommend visitors see to experience culture?
Sorry for so many questions, I just have always loved Japan and want to plan a trip someday now that I have more finances available to me. Iâm so happy to see your new (and old) videos!
Hi Kelsieschmindt! Those questions are so interesting!! It gets me think deeper! I'll make sure to include it in my Q & A video for sure!
Also, everything is cheap now in Japan, so it's the best time to come! Fall here is so beautiful!!
I have celiac and am not Japanese. I make my own mirin with sake, rice vinegar, white wine vinegar, salt and sugar. The ratio is just an experiment, you can figure out what you like over time. I hope that's helpful for you!
@@wellstrungberlin5723 Thank you! That is very helpful!
I m so happy to find you! I love to purchase those Japanese tablewareâ€. I have been looking all over the online purchase in NY.
I'm so glad to hear that you like our collections! I love them too!!
Do you prefer vibrant, patterned designs, or do you lean towards earthy, chic colors and textures? Iâd love to hear your thoughts as I plan to expand our product line!
I just found your channel. Iâve been wanting to try out japanese recipes for so long, but i never found a channel that also has vegan recipes. Your channel is amazing. âš I will be cooking with your recipes every week (hopefully) from now on. đž
All the tableware is so pretty! Those small dishes with gold are stunning. I like the idea of eating soup, rice and a variety of side dishes. If we Americans did this I think many of us would be healthier and not have weight problems. Arrigato for your video! â€
Awww thank you! Please share the idea of Ichiju-sansai with anyone you care. Having this back of your mind really make a change!
I also love small dishes with gold! Make my table sophisticated! hehe
Hi Miwa, thanks for your channel we learn a lot with you. I always questioning myself about heating or cooking fermented food. Does it stay active as a probiotic? Greetings from brazil
also, is it ok to make miso and then refrigerate? Will it impact the health benefits?
The simple answer is that most probiotics will die when heated. However, there are many more benefits beyond just the probiotics. I'll be sure to cover that in the Q&A!
Thank you for your question and kind words!
Miwa, I loved this video highlighting the 3 key fermented ingredients and how to apply them. Also how you showcased the tableware you hand picked and why, for your collection đ For the Q & A, If a recipe calls for 1 tsp of sugar, what is the amazake equivalent? Thank you.
Nice recepies ... Love from india †... Try to make more veg japanese recepies ...
Thank you so much!!
should i store seasonings like soy sauce and mirin in pantry or refrigerator?
Soy sauce in refrigerator, mirin can go in pantry

My favourite miso soup is made with nasu eggplant and abura age. Miso and eggplant are delicious together! Stir fried with onions and add a bit of chili for just a kittle kick. Really great in summer when the heat takes a way your appetite.
I never teied to swap sugar with amazake. I wonder if it would make a good teriyaki glazeđ€
My favourite is the oval plate. Still don't know if the green ine or the blue one is more beautiful.
Hi Miwa,
never been in Japan but i love the culture and kitchen and the waynof healthy cooking. Unfortunally i am not good at japanese cooking. đ
Maybe it s not the topic for here. I allways wonder what japanese ppl eat for breakfast and dining. đđ
Best greetings from Germany
Great video thank you so much! I just found the courage to stop ordering out and start making my own foods đ no matter how hard! This is a lot of the info i needed!
