GREAT REVIEW. No crazy graphics. No stupid same old hiphop beat music. No Spielberg-wanabee filming making 75% of the video the sky, and only a little bit of actual information. Seats, food, even bedding. The important stuff quietly presented with no hurry. Excellent.
My previous review was on the older flight (dreamliner) but the newer flights are much better with more space like a proper business class seat. Excellent service. Sub-par food and drinks. Just ridiculous. we pay $4000 for a ticket and get 50 cents potato chips with the drinks.

Good review, I like there was not taking
After my recent return trip from Manchester to Atlanta with Virgin at last the penny has dropped . I will still fly Virgin Upper Class to the USA , (And Mexico, Cuba Etc.) but will come back in Premium. Last week I asked myself, " Would I pay $1500 to lie on a cheap motel bed for 8 hours ? The stewardess Vanessa and the other girls were a delight but the Steward (Garry, ) was petulant and bad tempered. These old 330's should be scrapped.
I don't like the fact that if you want to sleep awhile and sit up awhile then go back to sleep you have to completely undo this bed. It really is a very bad design IMO!
I flew from JFK to LHR in Dec 2023. The only positive feature is the service. Food was OK. Drinks are very sub-par. Those kind of drinks are served in economy flights in emirates or qatar. for ex: Aberfeldy 12 year scotch ($50) was served.
The seat is atrocious for an upper class. Absolutely no room to move your arms. very cramped. You cannot recline the seat too much. Your feet rest on a small ottoman, not a good design if you are more than 6 feet tall. No space to put your accessories except for a small pockets. This is not acceptable for an upper class.
It keeps you dreaming of an upper class experience
No narration or subtitles? Not sure I like their configuration. I enjoy looking out the window, doesn't seem like that's possible.

Traveled upper class once and then went on an economy flight in Europe and literally felt like pond scum haha

If you are a fan of looking out the window telling you right now, choose another airplane. I took a chance when I got the ticket thinking How bad could it be? LOL never again. If anybody says it's not hard to look out the window, they're lying. The food and the service was excellent though.
How can we "choose another airplane?" I am on a virgin flight in December that looks exactly like this, and I don't want it lol...
Who needs to look out the window on a night flight?
Those are the whitest 3 courses I have ever seen! Blessings.
Not a fan of seats facing the walkway and being able to see everyone else. no sense of privacy that way.
Change the aircraft to 787-9 not A350-1000
