I know this is dumb but can you please start testing out the speaker systems in the cars too? it's dumb but for me that's a huge selling point also.
Just purchased our 2023 Calligraphy and drove it home. Went in to purchase a Tucson and saw this on the showroom floor and purchased it. Amazing car for the money. Top of the line luxury at a low lower price than the luxury models of other manufacturers were offering. Even extended out the 5 yr 60,000 mile warranty to 10 yr 120,000 miles. Awesome deal!
What was the purchase price you paid?
@@aaliyahteyana3071 list price approximately of 43900. We got $1000 rebate because we financed it for 48 months with Hyundai financial at .09% int
Took delivery of the exact vehicle 2 months ago. Moved on from a 2014 Jeep GC, what a difference! Price was excellent for the features..
I have a 14 GC too. I hate it, so many problems....time to ditch it. I'm definitely putting the Santa Fe on my list.
I just picked up my 2023 Santa Fe calligraphy in silver 3 weeks ago. Love it!
Congratulations on your new vehicle purchase, very very exciting !
Happy for you! We'll be picking up mine in February 2023. 🤞🏾
@@kevintchoreret damn. Why so long a wait?!
Picked up mine in Hampton grey this week. I’ve had a few cars in my life and hands down this is the best one and under 45k!!!!!
Getting mine march next year our new '23' plate here in the UK. Our top spec is called ultimate and no offence but ours doesn't have that one silly exhaust outlet. Why they've put that on the USA model god only knows. Mines silver, in the UK its called typhoon silver and ours is a 7 seater as standard
My dad drives a 2022 plug-in hybrid limited
It’s a really nice car and it’s pretty well equipped Kim paired to the 2019 SEL we had as a rental when it was in shops in somebody in a Tesla we are when did us
We are glad we have it back after two weeks
You forgot to mention that the rear seats recline.
Great review!!! 👏
I like these newer models jest right size , styling 👌
Ben....buddy. Love your reviews, my man.....buuuut. Can you please slow down and explain more? More along the lines of Alex on Autos.
I had to change the setting to slower speed to be able to understand what you’re talking about ..
So glad I chose the Palisade
I have a 22 Calligraphy, it’s been great.
Same. The bang for the buck is incredible!
Love it
Thoughts on the calligraphy versus the limited hybrid?
Why/When/Why do you turn the Drive Mode?
Good gravy😂😂
On December 2022, I picked up my Santa Fe calligraphy for 2023. You won't regret buying it. With regard to the forward collision sensors, I selected Active assist on the vehicle settings, but drove towards my plastic trash can in the middle of the drive way without the car automatically braking. Could anyone tell me how the front safety sensors assist in automatic braking?
Perhaps you have to be at a higher speed for it to engage 🤷♀️
what color is this?
You really didn't switch to SPORT mode???
Maybe I missed it, but does the 2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy 2wd have wireless apple car play and android auto wireless?
Thank's......
If that's the same 10.25" Infotainment that Hyundai uses in almost all their top trim SUVs... then NO. That looks just like the 10.25 Infotainment in my 2023 Tucson Hybrid which is also wired-only. Oddly, the lower trims with the 8" screen have wireless android auto... if you "upgrade" to the top trims, you lose the wireless in favor of plug-in AA/ACP. Pro-tip... go on Amazon and order an Android Auto Wireless adapter (it plugs into the car and your phone wirelessly connects to the adapter).
We purchased this exact spec back in May 2021. My wife having a 2013 Sante fe and we loved all the features and tech for the price but have been kind of disappointed with it. The Transmision is super clunky, especially at low speeds and when you put it in reverse it 'bucks' hard, kind of dangerously actually. Also, we have had times when I have put the car in park, and it has begun rocking back and forth and other times when the rpms drop low and it has stalled completely and the engine will not turn back on for a few try's. I believe that Hyundai has great tech and features that its competitors don't for the price but scimp out on the mechanical aspects like engine and transmission, this was our 4th Hyundai but will prob be our last unfortunately.
The downsides of a DCT is precisely it's low speed wonkiness.
Why are cars basically coming with a giant phone screen in the dash when phones are a distraction. SMH technology
Maybe your entire presentation should have been done while you were driving. I noticed when you drive you talk much slower and therefore, more understandable. Love the car though, hope to purchase one later this year.
What's the mileage buddy of 2.5 turbocharged engine
Fast track to 0:44 of the car review (if you meant "fuel consumption per milage"
@@kevintchoreret yup
Didnt mention the massage seats
These don’t have massaging seats yet
5:19 Am I right in thinking the Santa Fe doesn't come with a fuel or temperature gauge? I watched this instrument panel sequence over and over again, and couldn't find either gauge. Weird.
I bought this car last week and thought the same at first. But they're there 😁.
There at the bottom of the speedometer and also on the bottom of the tack you have to live very close to the colors are very similar
Just bought the 2023 Santa fe hybrid limited. I backed out of the escape hybrid order and went with this. So far I’m happy with it. Tons of tech and better material use than Ford
I bought a limited because I thought the Calligraphy headliner was ugly. I am not a fan of that wanna-be alcantara stuff. The Limited has this nice tight-knit tweed-ish fabric.
I can't believe that you missed something really cool in your review.
This actually has 281 HP, not 277 HP
Cars are so cheap in America !!! More than 20k more in Ireland
You are a foot taller if you stand by it. They call it SUV😅
(You're speaking a little to fast in the intro and your words are running together, and hence, unintelligible. Slow down a little, Dude!) Thanks for the Review!
Nice car but absolutely hate how the screen is outlined in white?? so ugly
it's not outlined white. That is the "new" sticker that has to be peeled off.
Couldn't understand a lot of the narrative.
I'm a fan of Hyundai's recent SUVs and own two myself. This looks amazing in every aspect, and yes, always do the engine upgrade Hyundai is notorious for putting really "meh" aspirated engines in baseline trims, but if you upgrade to their turbos (the 1.6 or 2.5) it's always a noticeable difference and well worth it. Having said that, there's one thing I find as a no-beuno and I don't think I could ever buy the 2023 Santa Fe because of it.
5:43 That "I glued a laptop* to the top of the dash for the infotainment center" look. Ugh... No! That seemed to be a very short lived trend that happened around 2020, and like everything else about 2020, it was terrible! Both Hyundai SUVs above and below the Santa Fe (Palisade and Tucson) have the exact same infotainment system integrated into the dash in a seamless fashion, while the Santa Fe screams "I was conceptually designed in 2020 and I suck".
Until Hyundai gets some Goo-Be-Gone and unglues that laptop* from the top of the dash, I wont be in the market for this car... everything else about this car rocks... I love it... but 5 years from now someone will sit in the car, look at the infotainment glued to the top of the dash and say "this is a 2020 car, isn't it?".
*To be fair, it looks more like an Amazon Echo Show
Dude, you need to slow down.
luxury... no
You talk too fast
So set your playback speed at .75
I'm currently in the market for this vehicle so wanted to check it out but Please take this as constructive criticism. You gotta "slow down" your speech since since it very difficult to understand . Thanks for the review.
