Just wanted to give a suggestion. The strips in the back will stick to the carpet area if you get some double sided Velcro. I had to do that to my Ram 1500.

KickinItWithQ the rough side of the Velcro will stick to the carpet area and the sticky side of the Velcro will stick to the 3M side

Thank goodness I found this tutorial, wish I had found it earlier and found out about govee, but bought some other brand but I think they are fairly similar. My question to you is, where did you get the red (lights? not sure if that is a light or just bright red) on the knobs or bezels (not sure what they are called) like the volume nob and the nobs under the screen?
They are red knobs. Got them from Amazon. I’ll try to find a link

I had strips set up like yours in mh lld silverado but mine where connected to the subs lol so they lighted along with the subs good thing was wires were hidden

Probably yes
@@KickinItWithQ I thought it might, if I use blue and keep them down low that might be an option. Just don't have patience with wiring anymore since they're usually very small wires that comes with the lights.

Did it mess up with ur battery? My car battery died within weeks after keeping it plug but off in the cig lighter the whole time while off. Trying to debunk whether that was it or not.
No it didn’t. I live it in cig lighter but the power button is off. However my truck cuts all power When ignition off. Some cars still have power to cig outlet even when off

It’s just the design of ford other manufacturers the cig lighter charges without car being on

I have n 08 ram, under my steering wheel I can't seem to find where I can put my light under there. The other 3 lights r easy but the driver's side it the only I can't seem to find somewhere I'm comfortable with, any help with ram trucks ?

I just installed the led strips to my vw. I turned on the led lights; everything was working, then I tried to turn on the car, and it wouldn't start. The radio didn't turn on. Does this LED drain the car battery?
I leave mines plugged into my truck all the time. However I be sure to push the red button so it’s off when I’m not using it. So I don’t leave it on but it’s always plugged in

I just used super glue on the strips In the back not much but it dried and stuck just fine still in my truck right now
BackWoods Riding not bad idea. Only thing Is if you ever take them off will they risked being ruined. Definitely not bad idea though

Glad you liked it. My truck cuts off power when it’s off so mines stay plugged in. But there’s a off/on button so I do turn them off before I get out.
