I’ve tried the Saatva, Avacado, BB Latex, BB Cooling, two Purple Harmonies, and the Nectar, and I ended up going back to the SensorGel Cool Fusions they have at Macy’s. Got em for $30 on sale and they are great! Very unimpressed with the others EXCEPT the Purple Harmony, which I really do love, but the medium height is too soft with too much sink, and the tall size is too tall. I may still get another Purple Harmony in the future, but overall I am pretty unimpressed with expensive foam based pillows, whether whole or shredded. The Purple was the only one that felt super high quality but I just couldn’t get a height I was comfortable with.
I have a couple of pillows at around the $130 mark- they are pretty nice, but I am still looking for the ultimate pillow. Cheap pillow are not comfortable long at all. I can’t imagine being happy with a pillow under $50- I have two around that price and they are not supportive enough.
