Running a Giveaway is a great way to BOOST TRAFFIC to your CZcams channel. Plus, who doesn't love free things? But before you jump right into trying to give something away, there are actually (legal) rules that you need to follow! In this video we walk through 3 easy steps to setting up and running a CZcams Giveaway, as well as outline all the rules and regulation you need to follow.

I came here yo hear about the distribution. In case of a phisical prize, what to consider for sending it to the winner. As people can see your video worldwide, sending the prize to the other side of the world can be a problem

Nope, no need to contact CZcams. Just make sure your giveaway doesn't break any of the CZcams terms.

Do you see any reason why, when we reach out to the winner, we shouldn't just put that in a reply to their comment? We would also put the winner announcement in the post for the video, but thought that might be an extra reach and more personal.
I'm curious , I entered an yt giveaway and it didn't said how the winners are going to be contacted...and I've received a comment with an wapp number .I'm kind of afraid if that's a scam and if it's not how can he know if tha't really me sending him the message and not other person that saw his comm...

Can I follow your steps in 2024 or has there been any changes? Is it different in Europe?
There was a competition on a channel a few days ago. The first correct answer wins the prize. I was the first to answer correct. The channel owner replied to my answer around 4-5 hours later in the comments section. Asking if I was from his country.
Later that day I went and checked if I had won. I saw his comment re if I was from his country to which I replied yes. I did find the comment weird as he could have just clicked on my channel to check where I was from.
However a few comments down another person had answered correctly but a few hours after my correct answer. The channel owner immediately had responded to his comment and said he was the winner and to send address details. He didnt ask him if he was from the same country as him. I found this to be extremely unfair and I replied to his comment advising that what he did was unfair and was not honuring a fair competition policy. He didn't even bother replying back to me. Instead he listed the other guy as the winner.
Can I use that 2FA idea for our CZcams channel?

How do you ensure the respondent is actually subscribed?
It is very possible to leave a comment WITHOUT subscribing to a channel. I will estimate about only 25% of my channel's subscribers are available in my YT report.
Your 2-factor authentication method is simple and effective except if their privacy hides their subscriptions. I wish to run a contest to UP the subscriptions.
I do not believe it is at all possible. You will notice that it might indicate you received a new subscriber but when you go to VIEW your most recent subscribers that it could show the latest was weeks ago... That would be because they don't have a channel set up to link to.

You asked the winner to contact you via email, and you put the code in your own pinned comment in the video.
But anyone else can see the code and use it to email you to fake as the winner, doesn’t it?

Around 7 min in the video the instructions get vague. You state "we contact them to email us". How do you do that? in a post? in the video? a different platform? Then you give them a keyword zebra. Im lost at that point. Can you elaborate?
