This is the good stuff eh!
I always knew Jesse would off Crendor in a desert.
You should make a condensed animation for the nonsense react videos of what you put out! It could be like 30 seconds of just all the talking at once with some psychedelics stuff happening in the background
Gator pants
We have been blessed yet again by the sexy man
Hell town USA in Ohio.
char jimmy is lovely this time of year
Hi berd I love your vids
I see you berd...... I S E E
Yeah, but vehicular homicide Nevada is a wonderful place come springtime.
At least once a month I'm watching a random video and I see a comment from Berd. It's nice to know we share video preferences
Hey, its berd. How've ya bin berd?
There's a village here that's called, roughly translated, "scraping the bottom of the lake". As in, the last pathetic scraps you can come by.
Oh, and here I thought it was Atlantis
@@ArchmageOfAnarchy No no, you were thinking of Atlanta.
Where's "here"
@@Limpshot_McGee I don't know, but based on the bluntness I want to say it'll be somewhere in rural ireland and whoever settled it just got to it after weeks of setting out over identical green hills covered in sheep and was like "feck it, we're not finding anything better lads!"
@@RAFMnBgaming theirs a place in America called Satans Kingdom. It got it’s name because the settlers who went there were promised workable fields and instead that got a land covered in hills that was a nightmare to work with, so called the place Satans Kingdom as a “fuck this place and the Devil who clearly made it!”
the dark elf from the elf story showing up at 1:08 because crendor knocking out the n in "drowning" making it "drow" is *such* a clever gag
Oh my God.
I've seen the elf story, but what does "drow" have to do with it?
@@denyeazadini Drow is another name for dark elf.
Well, more specifically, Drow is the name for Dark elf society and its citizens in D&D
Yes it cracked me up too!
There is a town in Chile called "Is better than nothing" and another called "escape if you can"
🤭
Whaaaaaaaat?! I'm from Chile and I have never heard of that. xD
Escape if you can is also a town in Argentina!!
escape if you can is so fucking ominous
silent hill??? PFFF, ESCAPE IF YOU CAN
Theres a town where a serial killer was born called “Truth or Consequences” in New Mexico
Cactus Jack is also supposed to be from there.
That town from Doctor Who is a real place?
Oh yeah, I live pretty close by to there. The place used to be called Hot Springs, but they renamed it after the gameshow of the same name promised it would be hosted from the first town that renamed itself. They still have parties every year for when the gameshow comes around, but it's a pretty boring place besides that. We just call it T or C for short.
RainbowAnimeCupcake the toy box killer?
@@ArchmageOfAnarchy BANG! BANG!
Reporting in from scenic Dragged off a Mountain Trail and Shot in the Back of the Head, Tennessee.
I think you mean New California Republic!
That’s just Gatlinburg
You made me look it up thinking it was a real town you B**** 🤬🤬🤬🤬
I love the fact that the burnt meat comes from RuneScape.
The chicken, too!
That's literally a 15 year old deep cut reference for me.
I mean there's a place in Australia where people live in tunnels dug into the earth and it's name literally translates to "White man lives in hole in ground".
Is that Coober Pedy, or am I thinking of another place?
"White man lives in hole in the ground" is fucking hilarious as a name for anything, let alone a city. It's Luke hearing someone basically say "Around here, we're all Bugs Bunny!"
@@GmodPlusWoW I was thinking the same place
If you're talking about Coober Pedy, that's just a joke/myth. It means "Boys' Waterhole" in the local Aboriginal language.
This is.......yes
I lost it when Jesse got genuinely confused with Crendor being out of the Tar Pit O’ Desperation at 2:02
This was the comment I was looking for
I love how Toast is an actual piece of toast who accompanies Crendor. Very cute
Loving the cameos in this video
Brad Leone looking like a stoner and Cas van de Pol's Aang being himself, perfection 👌
I was going to comment this but I brain farted on their names
Cas Van de Pol doesnt make it easy with 4 names.
@@mr.boombox5021 ? It's not four names, "van de" means something like "of the"
Only one I could think of was The Dead Sea, unless Crendor was looking for places in the US specifically
Oh I didn’t expect to see you here
Kill Devil Hills
Nice ta see you here dude
And this is why the animations take so long. Because a masterpiece takes time and effort.
0:30 I appropriate the continuity of the "Toast waz here" tattoo on Crendor.
How did you even see that!
Is this the "cultural appropriation" I hear so much about?
There’s a Mount Disappointment north of Melbourne, named because the first (white) people to climb it were upset you couldn’t see the ocean from the top.
I love these
Damn first I find out you like Red Vox and now you also watch Cox N Crendor? Are you me?
When all life has lost meaning in this accursed year. Dan pulls in clutch with another golden moment
Is no one gonna mention “Lynchburg Virginia”? A city named after being killed by an angry mob?
Tennessee's got a Lynchburg, too.
Lynchburg VA is pretty cool actually. My grandparents live there.
Lynchburg is named after the town's founder, John Lynch.
Basically he started a town around where he used to run a ferry boat and later built a bridge to profit off the trade he was bringing across the river.
However, considering how most surnames get started, unless there is an older meaning, one if his ancestors either was a hangman or was executed by hanging.
@@PB-tr5ze And for an extra laugh, if I remember correctly, he supported abolitionism
"There's gotta be at least one that's like...Burning Alive, Massachusetts!"
Ah yes, the other name given to what is otherwise known as...Salem xD
Unfortunately, no accused witches were actually burned. If memory recalls, it was hangings, several of those "tie em up and put em in the lake and see if they float" drownings, and one dude getting squished with rocks cause he refused to speak.
Unfortunately XD
I was gonna say we just call it Kelly Square in Worcester
Here’s one: Hell, Michigan.
wasn't that used as a joke in one of the Shittier Twisted Metal games? Like a demon wants to go back to Hell but is sent there instead.
Stephen Smith Never played Twisted Metal, so I couldn’t tell you.
There's also a Hell in the Cayman Islands
Don’t forget Dildo in Canada
Dildo,Newfoundland Canada
2:20 Wat? I love that that weird polar bear thing!
There's a cave called "The Devil's Arse" in Derbyshire, England.
I mean, Britain's got it's fair share of places... Bitchfield and Wetwang, just to mention a couple...
There’s a place called Hells gate where it literally shoots gas from the ground and a scientist decided to throw a grenade in the hole and now the hole burns forever
The first one was Atlantis. Not cool, magic Atlantis. I’m just talking an actual city that is collapsed under the ocean. The second is just Salem.
Atlantis was never a real city, it’s a mythological location Plato invented whole cloth as a rhetorical device to make an argument against hubris.
@@Wertsir its just crete
@@Wertsir Atlantis is Plato doing a "Land of Oz" - Oz is actually a giant financial metaphor. Oz as in troy ounce, 'yellow brick road' - '$merald $ity' , is this catching on?
My favorite part is when Jesse smiles while Crendor slowly drowns in tar. He has a stick he could use to help. But he doesn’t.
Little Toast traveling with Crendor is delightful - but he better be fanning her with leaves sometimes, too. That girl deserves some good treatment for putting up with the infamous Cren.
0:13 That Aang looks like the one from Cas van de Pol. xD
I know right
Last time I was this early, Drowning in Water, Pennsylvania wasn't drowning in water
Or Pennsylvania
I must be getting old, I still remember when it was called Puddle Pennsylvania.
I am my own 69th like.
its such a treat any time one of these comes out, I love them.
I really enjoyed this one. I think being less "dense" in terms of references/stuff in every scene than some of the previous animations made it a lot easier to watch. Plus, the scenes complimented what was being discussed in the podcast very well (maybe because the scenes were more on point/related to what was happening?) Overall this was a very enjoyable animation.
Thank you!
Every single time one of these come out it cures my depression a little more.
Every one of these animations is a masterpiece
It’s like Killgore, Texas
Ah yes my favorite city, Jimmy Got Ganked Outside.
There is a town in my county whose name roughly translates to "Two Buffalo Shot Completely Dead With One Bullet - ville" - Tweebuffelsmeteenskootmorsdoodgeskietfontein
I adore how you draw the wife as a little piece of toast 🥺
These animations just never dissapoint! 😂
Bless you Dan for trying to make sense of the ramblings of these madmen. Doing the work of the Space Butterfly.
Wherever Death Valley is, we’re rolling towards it pretty fast.
There’s a very small town near my home town called “Painsville” and every time my boyfriend and I drive past it I go POPULATION: YOU. It’s been 8 years and he still never once found it funny :)
What adorable animation. Thank you algorithm for this new channel of content for me to splurge.
There’s always good ol’ Hell, Michigan
That Hyper Cren, that thing is gonna give my paralysis demon nightmares.
These always bring a smile to my face. Thank you so much for all you do!
It is indeed good stuff eh
Also MASSATOOSETS
The burned Runescape meat killed me
When that happened, I had to double-check on the wiki. And yeah, it's exactly the burnt chicken model
Wow the animation has improved so much though out the years bravo man.
Love the extra touch of showing osrs foods,
i’ll buy the 5gp each
One of the best animations to date
There’s a town in northern Nevada called Battle Mountain.
Imagine having a big gaming company headquartered in BATTLE MOUNTAIN
Yeah more animation
Everyone: Don't worry, Hyperspecific Crendor can't hurt you!
Hyperspecific Crendor: 1:23
Well I just found this Random
I’m so happy!!
Cox: "it's describing the valley it's a valley of death"
Me a man of culture: "I take a look at my life and realize there's nonthing left..."
Oml those burnt Runescape icons killed me.
Closest I can think of is Surprise, AZ (the settler who founded the area said "it would be a surprise if a town lived here")
1:45 missed opportunity for “Burningham”. Instead of Birmingham
love the burnt runescape food. Classic
Nothing I love more than these animations
There was a Village in Devon, England called "Place-Holder Village Name" for over 30 years and it was changed to "New Village Name" a few years ago
Man, that intro is getting faster and faster
a return to the old ways....... it is good, it is good.......
I always love waiting till after the end screen for a surprise. This time: drifting polar bear
Love that ending as it messed with me, because it is what I have as my message alert on my phone.
Pennsylvania does have Wilsonville, the remains of which are now at the bottom of Lake Wallenpaupack. It was flooded by the construction of the dam that created the lake.
Thanks Dan, beautiful as always.
Love that classic dotted line gaze.
I feel like we're all taking a dip in the Tar Pit O' Desperation right now.
The sounds effects are cherry on top XD
the quality and creativity of these animations always amazes me!
Given how the Benjamin highway flooded into a canal, I love how they made Philly 'Drowning in Water PA'.
In Michigan there's a town called Bad Axe. And the story was there a guy who found an old Viking era axe (that was broken) from the time of the Canadian colonization.
Immediately hilarious with crendor sinking into the ground
Absolutely delightful as always, I love the creativity in scenes, the hyper-Cren and how you tie it all together 😍
Fun fact!
In Sweden there are plenty of places called Bränna or Svedja, literally translated as "Char" or "Burnt", following the practice where people annually torches old fields to rebalance the nutrients in the soil so they can go and plant there in the next year or further along.
You can read about this under Slash-and-burn agriculture, in under Sweden called Svedjebruk!
I've been watching these for years, but have only recently started listening to the podcasts. FINALLY I see one where I know the source material.
I'm pretty sure every town in Massachusetts was Burning Alive during the Witch Trials.
NO ONE WAS BURNED AT THE STAKE THEY WERE ALL HANGED AND CRUSHED BY ROCKS
This is GREAT!! MORE OF THIS PLEASE!
love these! great work
I was crying with laughter at the "Mossattusetts" part.
I always love these videos
Funny seeing this again. They started visiting death valley again.
these are my favorite uploads on youtube :")
Man I love this bi/tri monthly thing so much and the best part is the replay value so the wait time is not noticed
I live in a place whose name translates as "the slaughter", same energy
There's a district in Stockholm, Sweden know as "The Slaughterhouse"
"La Matanza" in Buenos Aires?
I love his weather reports
love these animations
By golly! A NEW Cox n' Crendor Animated!
These never fail to make me happy
96 degrees the lord smiles upon Death Valley with a cool chill
The runescape burnt turkey and meat caught me off guard so good hahaha
this was a very calm and chill episode
Never have I ever thought I’d see an animated brad leone on my favorite podcast
Absolute stunning job as always!
Great comedy...clean and accurate!
Appreciated from my family in Florida.
Hyper Cren looks like he was made in blender.
Sharp ejective spurts of laughter and C&C animated must always be part of my life.
Man I work in Death Valley and let me tell you... That is a less than fun in the summer and I'm indoors. However visiting in the winter or the spring when there are the wild flowers. Highly recommended. Absolutely stunning and not hot enough to easily kill you.
The Brad Leone thing got me so pumped I love that guy.
I love that I saw this come together good job!!!
