Since then, Hank the Tank has become an almost godlike form of retribution against communities that don't respect the land. Given the influx of Californians, it was inevitable that somebody would call Hank to Idaho. By the time Hank the Tank arrived in Idaho Falls, the procedure had become pretty standardized of the appropriate offerings and lockdown protocols, so those who paid attention were doing pretty alright. But I.F. is a pretty big town and Hank was taking quite awhile to complete his retribution. And as the seasons turned to a particularly hot summer, some fool thought it would be a brilliant idea to leave him an offering of ice cream. Immediately the situation changed from a standard event to a catastrophic rampage. Hank had gotten hooked on ice cream and now he had a whole new hunger that demanded satiation. Everywhere ice cream could be found was a target for his wrath. Except he wasn't devouring the ice cream. He was just taking samples from each location and then moving on. Almost as if he was looking for something specific. And sure enough, further examination of the original ice cream offering revealed the horrible truth. THOSE IDIOTS HAD GIVEN HANK THE TANK REED'S DAIRY ICE CREAM! And now no lesser ice cream could satisfy him. And there was nothing we could do about it. The entire city looked on in horror as Hank tore his way to Reed's dairy headquarters and left the main milk refinery in ruins. After that, stuffed to the gills with the finest frozen goodness on Earth, Hank the tank stumbled down to the river and let out a tremendous icy belch that briefly froze over a mile of river solid. later that week, i was walking on the banks of the river and found a patch of muddy slush that stubbornly stayed cold even as the rest of the river thawed. I decided to use this unique soil to do some growing experiments. Specifically I tried growing huckleberries; this region is absolutely obsessed with those berries and a means of cultivating them in the lowlands would make me filthy rich. And it worked! It didn't take long for Hank's magical slush to produce healthy bushes laden with fat huckleberries. Soon, infinite wealth would be mine! And then Hank came back. And he had a new trick. It seems somebody put out a hit on Taco Bell, and Hank the Tank obliged, obliterating all low quality tacos in the region. Now he just had to get all the cheap spice out of his system. Hank belched fire all over the river, wrecking my poor bushes and leaving the slush as normal ground once again. However, something was left behind. It was a crystal, cold to the touch, faintly glowing a deep purple. On a whim, I licked it and realized that this crystal was the pure essence of Huckleberry flavor. And I knew just what to do with it. I gave that crystal to the rebuilding Reed's Dairy and to this day they use that crystal to make every batch of huckleberry ice cream.
