Eye of the Storm is a winter saga in Iceland. In Iceland there are many kinds of storms. Ice, snow, rain, sand, ash, solar, magnetic, and more.
Storms are agents of change. While often destructive and unpredictable, they also demonstrate the unyielding power of nature. They reveal nature's beauty and its hand in creating the landscapes we see today.
Shot in Iceland between February and March, 2014, I was lucky enough to witness and film the power of an X-class solar flare and coronal mass ejection hitting our atmosphere. The resulting auroras were a sight hard to believe, even in person and seeing it with my very own eyes. Enjoy the film!

The music, the scene. Oh my god, so mystical, so magical... Wow.. Words can't express. The orchestral sounds fit perfectly. One of the best footage of Aurora Borealis i've seen. Wanna see this at least once in my life before I die..

i was there that night, around the 3:00 mark. it was feb 27 or so. one of the best nights of my life, right outside of hofn. stopped on the side of the road, amazed by the changing colors and shapes all around me. thanks for letting me re-live this night.

When I see such things in this world that I live in, I fall in love with this world but when I see the souls of human beings and them work I know that I live a beautiful lie
I first remember watching this video, which inspired me to go and finally see the northern lights. Two and a half years later, not only have I seen them several times, but the most recent times (last month and yesterday night as of posting), I got to witness absolutely incredible shows, similar to the displays in this video and even stronger, both times caused by G4 (Kp 8) geomagnetic storms. If seeing the northern lights is on your bucket list, go and see them. The first time feels super rewarding and you get hooked on seeing them again.

+Jason the Otaku The internet connection upload speed means more than the pc specs tbh.... Their are not many isp service plans today that can max out even dated protocols like 802.11g or fastethernet 10/100 throughput.
Jae Melo my internet on every device is 802.11 AC at over 100mb/s i havent used an ethernet cable since around 2006 .. my ipod touch maxes at 102mbs and my internet plan is 100/100 lol

Your screen doesn't display "1080p" unless you are using a TV. Computer video signals are not done in "interlaced" or "progressive", your resolution is 1920x1080, not 1080p.
