- In this video, the homie, Dave Perrotta, and I, go over two examples of text messages with a girl who has agreed to a date. One is laughably bad and the other is about right. In this video you should clearly be able to see what constitutes as needy over text. The bad example might seem a little far fetched, but I read messages like this from guys all the time. Careful if you are sending messages like the first guy.

The simple thing here is that women don't like weak men. Period. So never ooze desperation or seek validation. There's a reason why they get turned off easily before your first or second date and why they actually leave you after you've been in a long term relationship for a while. They get bored. You're not interesting. So when ooze desperation, you've already lost and any sort of recovery is hard to get back. Just be strong. Let women walk. Know your worth and you'll be amazed at the position you find yourself in within relationships.

Text messages can be tricky. I had a date that I met online. She came on hard, asked me for my phone number and the texting led to the meet up. This is where I blew it. After reflecting, I knew what I probably did wrong so the moral of the story is, don't act needy in person either. I've used some of the tips in these videos to help in that area. It happens, it's how your respond when you fail.

The most important thing when texting is to be funny,witty etc. Even if she doesn't find you that attractive,she will be responding and more willing to get to know you. You can't be sending simple texts,just in general that's not an interesting conversation. Try to be funny,teasing and witty. Have something interesting to say. Good morning texts,how are you doing etc...that shit doesn't work if you are trying to get to know somebody/attract them.

To be honest, its hard to blame those guys, because when you see all the movies it is usually about a guy chasing a woman desperately and in the end they usually end up in a relationship. So it seems like the society is pushing this image for guys to be needy for a girl in order to get in a relationship with her.

Is unbelivable. Literarly felt sad at how lonly and desperate people can get where they lose all self-worth.

So being in the current situation we are in, I am doing the whole online dating thing. I consider myself a good conversationalist and have taken some decent photos. So now I am able to at least get responses, rapport and a video date with a fair amount of frequency. The constant flaking though. It happens at every perceivable stage in the interaction, on one occasion the conversation got interrupted by technical issues and after that she disappeared off the face of the earth. I do get that it is totally the norm with online dating. My question is, how do you approach a new interaction with good vibes instead of cynicism when your experience has taught you that people will flake without warning?
Give it a break and come back to it when covid has calmed down. Most people are bored and just after companionship/attention. They are probably already on the mindset that they will not meet anyone in the current pandemic, therefore it is easy to ghost/flake without any feelings involved!
