MY RECIPE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
PLEASE CHECK PINNED COMMENT FOR ERROR CORRECTIONS OR THINGS I FORGOT!
Ingredients Needed: (For the exact recipe you saw me do, adjust for amounts if you make more)
- 4 pounds of boneless-skinless chicken thighs (never frozen preferably)
TERIYAKI MARINADE RECIPE: (combine all into bowl, mix well, pour over chicken and fridge for 24 hours)
- 1 cup Olive Oil
- 1.5 cups of Kikoman Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tablespoons of A1 Steak Sauce (or your favorite steak sauce)
- 1-2 tablespoons of Black Pepper (adjust for your preference)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 HEAPING tablespoon of Minced Garlic
- 1.5 tablespoons of Brown Sugar (dark or light)
Directions: (ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE PREPARING ANY FOOD ITEMS!)
- Combine all marinade ingredients into a bowl, mix well and set aside. Prep your chicken by trimming it how you like it (see video for exactly how I do it). Cut thighs in half and place into a marinade container or bag. Pour marinade over chicken, mix around to coat well, cover and place into fridge for 24 hours. Pre-heat your grill to 350-450 degrees Fahrenheit, make sure grill is hot and grates are hot before placing chicken on. Place chicken on grill and flip every five minutes or so to promote even cooking. Once you reach an internal temperature of 190 degrees Fahrenheit, remove from grill and rest in foil for a few minutes. Serve with rice or any of your favorite sides, ENJOY!

PINNED COMMENT for CORRECTIONS:
A viewer “alrui” corrected me regarding the Thermapen ONE. It is NOT rechargeable. It runs on a aaa better which lasts forever. In fact, I still haven’t had to change mine which is likely the reason for my misspeak. Thank you to alrui for the correction.
Thanks MIke! Can't wait to try! Appreciate the share!
Thank you very much!
Great premiere, excited to try this recipe out for sure.
Thank you, brother!
Looks great! Going to try this recipe.
Excellent video Mike and very good instructions. That finished plate had me wishing I had some right in front of me. I just did a screen grab on the recipe in the description box. My wife and me will most certainly be doing this one soon. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the mention brother. Glad that tip helped your chicken game out. Cheers!
I appreciate your support and the tip, brother! It’s awesome to learn from one of my mentors! Cheers 🍻
That looks absolutely amazing I need to try this for sure!
I know it’s a bit of a long video, but there’s a lot of important information I wanted to share. I hope you love the recipe when you try it.
Mike that chicken looks absolutely delicious! I will definitely have to try this. Awesome video and cook! Take care Mike!
Thank you very much, Doug!

Hey Mike, Awesome recipie, wish I were there to sample. Looks amazing and I am betting the taste is awesome as well. I love Teriyaki foods. Thanks for doing this. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, uncle Bill. You really have to try this. If you love teriyaki, I promise you it will not disappoint.
OH MY GOODNESS IT LOOKS SO DELICIOUS AND VERY TENDER WOW. THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK 😁👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you!
THANKS, GREAT MEAL!!
Awesome recipe! Have a nice Thanksgiving 🦃. Cheers 🍻
You too!
Looks great mike
Thank you, Shawn!
Looks delicious doing this for dinner
Enjoy!
Thanks Mike!
I'm saving this marinade recipe, even though I don't have a grill.
Hope you enjoy. It works well any way you cook it! Grilling is best cause the brown sugar will caramelize a bit.
Get yourself a cast iron skillet with the grill ridges, not quite a grill but the next best thing if you are in an apartment pr don't have access to a grill.
Very nice Mike! It looks absolutely delicious. I don't eat white meat chicken so I don't worry about temperature there, but I do take my wings and thighs upwards of 190 200 and they always turn out so good. Great video brother 👍
Thank you, Ron!
Man im gonna try this after the holiday
Looks really good and I am going to try this. I wonder how it would be if you glaze them with the kikomann teryaki glaze right before you take them out.
I made this exactly and it was GREAT!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you liked it!
Thanks Mike! - We have a couple inches of snow and down to only ~10F tonight near Ottawa Canada. - The grills and griddles are "sleeping" but there's no reason not to bake this in the indoor oven, or the electric grill I sent you the photo of in the past.
The recipe looks awesome. Love the shoutout to some of the other YT channels I watch. - Cheers!
Thank you as always for your support, Garry!
Great cook Mike. Sesame oil is good on rice too!
Thank you for watching and for the tip, Eric!
very wholesome guy, great food, and great content. You deserve more notoriety
Thank you for your kind words, Nick. The CZcams algorithm has been rough on my channel despite my efforts to create informative, entertaining, and watchable content.
I think you do a great job Mike keep your head up buddy :)
@@nickdeveney1331 that sounds great 👍🏼
Süper 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯..
Looks great and plan to try it. There’s a teriyaki place here in town that does some veggies with it too. Carrots, cabbage, etc.. Probably will be adding that. Stir fry the veggies with a bit of the sauce. Mmmmmm good!
Sounds great to me!
That sure looks good..
Thank you, Tammy!
@@EverydayBBQ Your welcome..
Great Recipe Product was fantastic. I can't believe the word gas grill came up, I thought they were banished from the bbq channels. I have same grill, it gets very little use since buying my kettle, I actually think I can perfect my temperatures on kettle over gas grill. When you were cooking chicken did you have burners turned to medium. I can understand about smoke on some items, I'm not particularly into smoked turkey. I think it's OK right off the pit but to freeze and reheat not a favorite. Good to see someone using gas grill, be good incite to see what you can do on one other than sear steaks.
Happy Thanksgiving
The marinade sounds delicious! The chicken looks absolutely scrumptious! I swear I could almost smell it grilling. I’m a fan of white meat, so I think I would marinate some boneless chicken breast’s. (Don’t mean to undo your recipe🙃). Maybe even try a stir fry. I really just want to try your marinade!😋
You’ll love it! Thank you as always for your support!
Thats look F…… good 🇩🇰
Lol it is!
Chicken looks fantastic! Do you baste the chicken during the cook with the leftover marinade? Or do you find that you don’t need to do that? My wife isn’t the biggest fan of teriyaki, but I think I’m gonna have to try and skip this one by her I bet she will love it! 😊
It’s so flavorful you honestly don’t need to baste it. I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t love this recipe lol. Thank you for all your continued support, brother!
Lol I got commissioned to make a few brisket for memorial day..lmfao perfect time for a windy night
Lots of work! Enjoy!
Can you freeze unused marinade to use later?
Yes, as long as it hasn’t touched the uncooked chicken. It will always taste better fresh though.
What no yucateco. Just kidding. Have to make this very soon, like today. Thanks for sharing.
Lol I do have a version of this with the El Yucateco Black sauce. Saving that for their channel!
Morning!
Mornin!
I just marinated my chicken let’s see how it will go
How do i cook the rice?
Follow the instructions on the packaging
FYI, The Thermopen ONE isn't rechargeable takes a AAA battery & runs a long time (2K hours per the site) - I've not had to put a battery in mine yet and I've had it for a year or more at this point. Highly recommended folks!
You are correct, alrui. Don’t know how I messed that up. I have had mine forever too and still have not changed the battery either lol. I’m going to correct this in the pinned comment and credit you for the correction. Thank you 🙏.
Need some sesame seed oil in that marinade
Thanks Buddy! Thumbs up! ...but your vids seem to D..R...A...G., along? Too much talk..not enough show how to? Anyways...love ya man!
