I just got one 3 weeks ago. Get a nice and maintained one else you will not have an amazing experience. I just bought a clean one with 84,000 on it and its unreal. So much fun

Excellent video. That's why corvette owners put up with all the downsides of owning a vette, the upsides outweigh them once you get behind the wheel.
Are there any real downsides? C5's are really reliable for a sports car. Only would avoid the years prior 2001 because of the ABS module. Yes, original seats with their leather quality are bad, failing oil pressure sensor will occur etc. but nothing really that goes to deep in the pockets even with letting it repair & maintain from a good shop / mechanic.

Nice, Good job! Couldn't help but notice the 2815 DOT number on the front tires, which means those tires are over the 5 year DOT limit, do they look at that when you get it inspected? You should do an off road video for your Truck.

Ayy man that sounds beautiful that’s my goal some day with my stock c5... if you don’t mind me asking... what was the total price of everything you have put into the car on mods? Or an estimate?.... also summer is about here now and I live in Goodyear the heat is crazy what are some suggestions to help my c5 to stay cool?...it’s been reaching 235F, I’ve recently moved from Hawaii and I didn’t have this problem over there 😂
I personally have over $30k into the car. If someone wanted to replicate it, it would be close to $50k. Have your radiator and A/C condenser blown out.

Question..Flush transmission fluid or Change tranny fluid or leave it alone if it is fine?? Got 3 different opinions on Corvette Forum.
If it’s higher mileage, I’m of the mindset that you should at least flush. Some people say you should not touch it because the debris is holding it together. I say If sludge is holding your transmission together then you have a problem.

Speaking of sound....only thing I would do to finish the build, is the C5 double din kit with a nice head unit, new speakers and sound deadening, and a nice subwoofer!
The best sound for a Vette is the sound system shut off. The volume control is under your right foot.
