    Hi , thanks for your effort to make the vedio to clarify the doubts. You said it is important to email attested documents. Is it just degree certificate or I have to send all the marksheets, registration certificate and internship certificate as well? Thanks in advance

    Hello Ma’am,thank you su much for updating everything regarding Mrcp, I still have confusion that after clearing MRCP do we need to go under residency of MRCP (MD) or we are equivalent to MD directly after passing the MRCP¿

      I would't say MRCP is equivalent to MD as MD is a 3 year residency programme where as MRCP is a degree. I am making a video on MRCP vs MD soon. Please keep watching this space.

      You would have to look for careers in metabolic medicine or chemical pathology.For MRCP, you would need to have substantial experience in clinical medicine.

I just have one question; I have completed my Mbbs and done with internship I also have 2 years post internship experience in a clinic as GP and have worked in several Private hospitals. if I wish to pursue MRCP. can I take all 3 steps, or do I need 2 years' experience in Internal medicine as M.O or trainee?
    also, if I do 2 years MCPS training in any medicine allied program such as Pulmonology can would it count as 2-year experience?

      As soon as a candidate finishes internship, they are eligible for MRCP .With your clinical experience you can most definitely attempt the exam.

    Hi mam . For the date of PMQ , do we put the date of passing final year or the date on the medical degree certificate issued by the college . My date of passing final exam is 30.12.2019 and my PMQ was issued on 11.12.2021 . I understand we would have to email the MBBS degree certificate as the PMQ so which date would be the right one to put for me?

      This is a part of application so immediately after paying the exam fees. Your application is considered incomplete until you submit the PMQ.

    Hello Mam. This video was very clear and informative. I'm interested in taking the exam in future. Can you give us some idea regarding MRCP-2 and USMLE Step 2 CK? I mean the student who has done STEP 2 CK will they be able to pass that exam without extra reading or these two exams are very different and MRCP-2 will need advanced knowledge for that?

      I will be honest with you. I should not give you advice on an exam I haven't done. but I would say chose either USMLE or MRCP. If your concepts of medicine are clear you will be able to pass either exams very easily. All the best for your preparation.

      Many thanks for watching.Apologies if this has created any confusion. This slide is a guide for ideal time to attempt the MRCP exam.For part 1 it's best to take this within the first two years of MBBS when the knowledge on basic sciences is still fresh in the candidate's minds. Without doubt,MRCP is one of the most versatile exams and can be done at any age.

    I heard that if you go to the uk through plab route, pass the mrcp there in the uk then it’s easier in getting training post in the desired speciality rather than directly going through the mrcp route !

      Definitely Shashi kanth. In the UK interns are treated as independent doctors so the internship year definitely counts as clinical experience.

      Mam actually I recently decided couple of days before to get into U.K....unfortunately all the plab 1 seats for whole 2022 got filled....
      For a person like me who completed mbbs recently i.e 2021...According to present situations.. is it better to go for MRCP route... need your valuable advice mam,... THANK YOU....

      I would suggest start your MRCP journey only if you are sure you want to do Medicine or allied branches like critical care. With PLAB you are more flexible to change your career path.
      You can definitely start preparing for MRCP if you want to do Medicine. Try to gain clinical experience as you go along . All the best.

      Exam fees are mentioned in the video. For theory exam the main resources that you need to get is a question bank subscription, either Passmedicine or Pastest. The cost depends on the duration on your subscription, check their individual websites. For PACES , course fees are roughly 1400 GBP.

      For dermatology in the UK you have to undergo medicine training first, and complete MRCP. Following this you have to apply for speciality training in dermatology.

      There are no restrictions as such, but if you have failed PLAB , you will need to prepare a lot more for MRCP as this is a much harder exam than PLAB. All the best.

    You mean to Say to appear for MRCP part 2 and Paces
    One only need to pass MRCP-1..thats it…
    Having 2 years clinical experience is desirable as it helps alot but its not necessary for appearing in mrcp 2 and paces

      Entering speciality training like cardio . nehpro etc is quite competitive but if you work hard you will definitely be able to do this. It is essential to get NHS experience before ST training so it would be a good idea to work in the NHS in a non training job before ST application. All the best

      In order to apply for speciality training in Cardio, you would need to train in medicine like MD medicine or IMT or gain equivalent clinical experience in medicine.

      Total MRCP journey would roughly take you two to 3 years deoending on your preparation , commitment to exams and exam slot availabilty.
      For IMT training (similar to MD),you don't need full MRCP but MRCP is must for ST training ( which is equivalent to DM). You would need to have substantial clinical, research and leadership experience to get into training; all these are achievable with the right mentorship and planning.

      @@rash05000 unfortunately we have to wait one year after our graduation. For MRCPI we need a duration of at least 6 months after our graduation to get the eligibility

    Hello mam, i am preparing to give MRCP Exam in nov. 2022 . During making mrcp account there is a one column that is date of issue (regarding this i have a query). I gave my final year MBBS exams on 06/06/2016 and my final exam result got declared on 28/07/2016 and i recieved PMQ on 20/01/2018.
    So my question is above-mentioned 3 dates which date should I fill in date of issue while making mrcp account. your help and guidance regarding this will be very helpful.
