one of the most comprehensive videos about the comparison i ever seen.
Can You tell me if is it possible for a Muslim female to practice in the US wearing a hejab, or burka if she passes USMLE?
can someone still go n apply for ajob to usa after doing plab or u have to start from usmle again
Very useful information, I want to know for consultant if someone already did FCPS+fellowship in Pakistan, Can they follow the same paths or any other , kindly let me know
U know just for booking plab 1 u need oet and after oet you will get a seat for plab 1 atleast after 9-12 months for example GMC is opening plab 1 seat for Feb and May 2024 in june 2023 📅 it's not easily available, also the pass percentage is 60-65% for part one , after plab 1 you will book plab part 2 which will be available after 6-8 months and again consider pass percentage is approx 60 % so alot of PPL need to give this again also after passing GMC registration will take 1-3 months then comes the job the avarage time is 3-9 months so the total time from oet to uk fy2 job is 2-2.5 years if someone pass everything in first attempt.. so u mentioned 4-6 month till getting into foundation year 2 is not a correct information as plab 1 seat are not available like before
Hey Manik, really appreciate the content your providing. Making a video about fellowship pathways as an IMG in the US and the UK would be extremely helpful. Keep up the good work
I didn't expect this video to address all my concerns in such short time ❤
This is solid and 100% Accurate!!! Excellent work. Thank you.
Found this extremely detailed! Thanks Manik!
Very informative and well organized data. THANKS💜
This was by far THE BEST video out there regarding usmle and PLAB .
Very nice and neatly trimmed content!... Very informative! Thankyou so much.
Hats off for the effort, bless to have you.
keep it up, Dr. Madaan.
Thank you so much for explaning everything. Iam a 2nd year student(MBBS) and am looking forward to PLAB.
Wow so insightful thank you so much this is the best explanation I have gotten thus far.
Thanks, I liked it. I’m a software engineer in my 40s, so it’s more out of curiosity that I watched this. I was curious about the WLB differences between the US and other countries, but I learned so much more in this video. Thanks again.
I gained a lot of insight, and, it is concise. Thank you for the effort.
This was such a comprehensive breakdown
Thanks a lot for information! Brilliant video!
Awesome comparison! Keep up the good work Dr Madaan.
This video is very helpful for Alot of med school students who are willing to take plab or usmle in upcoming years. There are tons of videos available on youtube on plab n usmle. But this one is most simplified and straight to the point.
Best video on the internet for usmle vs plab 😍🤩
I would like to add that it’s incredibly difficult to book plab 1 and plab 2 seats and Manik said 6months time frame referring to the study duration. Plab is relatively easier to crack study wise, subject material is less and difficulty is low. However, the fact that the exam itself is only conducted 4 times a year and only limited number of seats are released twice a year, it is virtually impossible to clear plab in 6 months. Realistically I’d say it takes about 12 months from the day you clear ielts to getting GMC registered. And then an unknowable period of time in between applying for jobs and landing your first job. And roughly another 6-12 months between the start of the non training Job and getting into a training program. So for a hard comparison USMLE AND PLAB both will take you about 2 years before you can have a shot at getting residency. But plab will take longer to finish unless you want to be a GP ! However, you’ll work lesser hours at a stretch in the UK. So it’s almost the same deal you either work for a lesser duration of time over 5 to 6 years or you work 80 hours a day in 3 years. Both options you leave your country and get a better training and quality of life. Salaries are comparable however, in later years, US doctors will make more.
So what about MRCP???
I REALLY wanna be a doctor in the UK please guide me through
I m so tensed please help
@@inspiringmuslim that’s way longer!
@@HamzaAfridi999 like can u explain actually I m a fresher
@@inspiringmuslim in mrcp u will start from CT1 if u wanna to be a consultant but if not then ST3!
Would really appreciate a video on the AMC medical exam and how it compares to USMLE AND PLAB.
Same here....
I will appreciate if u talk about scope in Australia post pg from india
Well, I've taken the exams for the 4th time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it. 😭💔
Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't
take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that l've not lost hope.
You will pass Every one has their own season, just keep going, pray and believe you will receive.
Thank you Sir ❤ May you succeed so so much in life ❤
Very helpful. Keep up the good work.
USMLE kinda says hey, you wanna study here? Crack this bisch.
😂
Bro it's more like, " You wanna get fucked?"😂😂

To all my sisters in Islam...
"Do not marry polytheist (mushrik) women until they believe; for a believing slave-woman is better than a free polytheist (mushrik), even though she may look pleasant to you.
And do not marry your women to polytheist (mushrik) men until they believe; for a believing slave-man is better than a free polytheist (mushrik), even though he may look pleasant to you. They invite you to the fire while Allah invites you to paradise and forgiveness by his grace. He makes his revelations clear to the people so perhaps they will be mindful." (Al-baqarah 2:221)
it's just a reminder sister to please stay away from hindu boys because theres a campaign called BHAGWA LOVE TRAP started by RSS in 2017 where hindu boys have been trained to lure and induce muslim girls into fake love trap to destroy their Life akhirah and most importantly their EMAAN and emaan of their coming generations. They falsely claim to love you/be friends with you but all they do is to have sex with you make you pregnant and then leave you all alone thus destroys your life or else force you to convert to hinduism after marriage thus destroys your emaan ! In the shadow of the fake narrative of Love Jihad( which rarely happens or they themselves create dummy cases to degrade Muslims and Islam), hindus have already pregnant, aborted and murdered many Ayeshas, sanas, fatemas, afrins, parvins etc but obviously those cases never get highlighted in the mainstream media coz the girl is muslim and boy is hindu otherwise if the opposite happens they telecast it for about a month!
So please be alert and only marry muslims when the time comes
PLEASE share this verse with every muslim sister in your contact list without hesitation just for the sake of Allah.🙏 May Allah bless and protect our sisters in Islam
Ameen .

Congrats on 100k advance Dr. madan love your content 🙌🏻❤️
nice and brief explanation
👏👏👏👏👏
This was actually a very extensive video wow
best video till now..thank you manik bhaiya.🥰
Thanks a lot Sir for this very amazingly information
Appreciate it doc Thankyou ❤
Excellent bro.good information.thank you
I believe USMLE is unnecessarily tough and expensive while PLAB isn’t.
Doctors do get paid less compared to USA but knowledge wise its almost the same level
Yes, 25 lacs is not a joke for many of us indians. Most of us dont come from a rich background. Our dream of being in the US will just remain a dream.
Very informative helpful, God bless you
Hats off to the efforts and background research done to make this video 🔥
Would really appreciate you making a video on job opportunities for doctors in UAE after completing PG in India.
Thank you 👍👍
Yes, please!
I really appreciate your effort Sir.. It is way more helpful and informative. I am trying for my USMLE & this video really gave me a brief idea about everything I needed. Thank you Sir 🙏🏻
Always the best in the market !
Thanks man... Really appreciate
Very informative video. Thanks sir
Thanks you very much Dr. Manik sir.
a lot of info,great job
Hi Manik, PLAB pathway has become harder and it DOES NOT take 4-6months from the start to obtain a job as an FY2 anymore. It’s become harder to find seats for plab 1, the wait period is as long as a year for PLAB 1, 3-4 months for PLAB 2, 1 month for registration and to find a job it takes anywhere from 2-6months depending on the strength of the CV. This is all excluding the 1month long wait for results for all the exams.
Agree to it. However, the information imparted through the video was still quite useful. 👍
Once someone clears plab 2.....and if they r waiting for 6 months to find the job....how will they manage the cost of living in england??????
Do they get salary while doing FY2 ?
@@Klausnos yes FY2 is paid
Plab is far easier my step 1 knowledge was enough to pass the plab exam with ease and high score questions aint tricky and quite direct on PLAB. Given both, usmle is any day harder and painful exam specially step 2 with brute memorisation. If u try to convince PLAB pathway is harder the mental stress usmle initial pathway puts you through is alot. Within one year you can get GMC registered its not the same with usmle, exam takes preparation, even for the people with strong foundation.
@@Ab_cd18 Hlo Brother! Can u pls explain me everything Regarding plab ? Can U Pls Give Ur Insta or Gmail r some other thing through which I can reach u out ?
PLAB allows you to enter system, build your self and make some money to take membership exams which is tougher than USMLE. But USMLE you have to come fully prepared so it depends on one's conditions, find out which suits you the best and commit to it's path.
Awesome video Dr Madaan
VERYYY HELPFULL REALLY APPRECIATE ITT
Most of the channels about usmle preparation doesn't really talk about real time experience whilst doing their UCSEs ... Like how did the chose the programme , what things it offered them and how were they able to get LORs that were good enough to land them in some amazing specialities. And they don't talk about networking either. I wish someone would make video of it.
great video, very informative.
good effort sir , very informative video.......❤
Thank you for the very honest comparison!

Very helpful video Manik, thanks!
Hii please can you make more videos on exams of other countries like your this video is so amazing I have watched thousands of usmle plab videos but this one was the best and easiest to understand 😊
incredible explanation of the visa details 👍
Gave me a lot of answers that I sought a lot 🤩
Informative 👍🏻
Thank You Doctor! This is the best explanation on this filed. You nailed it ! One Question the cost for step1 and step 2 USMLE mentioned in your video does it include the transportation cost or just to sit for the exam we need to pay that much money ?
Great effort my bro❤️🌹💚
Thanks for the information Doc I'm currently pursuing mbbs first year from tmc tripura I'm highly determined for usmle especially.
This was great thank you
Very helpful. Thank you

Video was very helpful
Manik madaan you're just ♥️♥️♥️
This is an extremely useful video
Hello Manik, please please can you please do a video like this about AMC? Very much needed ❤
Very useful information... 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
Thanks a lot for this info
I will also like to know if you could make a video as detailed as this describing opportunities that abound for a US trained dr and UK trained dr in the middle east, which of them is more valued and what is the pay grade like for a specialist that trained in either country
You are amazing.. thank you
Hi manik ...thanks for video. Plz make a video on job saturation in uk in coming years. I am currently on my plab pathway. I am also doing residency in my home country and i cannot prepare for usmle ofr several reasons in these circumstances.
wish me luck on my usmle journey🙏🏻
Very infromative!
Thank you so much sir for giving us clarity between usmle and plab n for this amazing guidance 😊
Thank you sir for this great information 🙏
As a first year medical student I need to start saving 😮
UK over US for the football culture
Thanks a lot!!!
Thank you❤!
Very much informative detailed and helpful video but I'm confused now about getting job after plab as I'm concerned about giving plab after my mbbs degree well thanks for this video 😊
So basically if you think you are competitive enough to ace mle then go for it but if you have fear of failure be in your comfort zone go for plab and be happy but latter has less job opportunities which actually annoys me
Awesome video
