It’s rare to find a lock you can comb so I’m happy I found this one!

"Suitable for low security marine applications" - it won't rust, but you can open it with a wave rake.

This was from when the Williams Group Took over the Chubb company. There was a LOT of cost cutting when they took over and this was one of their products. They were appealing to customers who want more affordable security. Chubb before the takeover were always high quality and security for the most part.

Just an aside, but I love that you speak so clearly that you're perfectly intelligible at 1.75x speed :)

This range were originally branded as Union, and in the late 90's,were rebranded Chubb and ranged from 30mm to 60mm...also in a chrome finish all over that were more expensive

I have an old chubb safe from the 90's, it has a 7 lever mortice lock, no key.. I'm trying to pick it open now after finding out the steel is 4cm thick all around.. 😂😂 I can pick most locks but I hate levers💀 just made a few wire picks.. hopefully I'll get it open..

Thanks for all the videos! I learn new techniques all the time watching your stuff. I’m really having a problem with a Master 930/6230 padlock. Any tips?

      You d use a thinner pick, say 0.020” - 0.018” medium hook

How do you open a padlock that uses a magnetic key that you place on the side of the lock. I have 4 different keys for the 4 different locks. Made in China, but I was wondering how to pick if I lose a key. Have you seen this kind of padlock?

You can find some videos of Bosnian Bill about magnetic locks.

Come on lock Yoda. I need some of your knowledge. Who should I purchase comb picks from. I bought the 50 dollar set from southord and they where garbage. Please, who has the best one's, with a variety of them in the set. If southord made that set like covert instruments did it would be a winner. Long story short, who do I get the best comb picks from. Thanks

You are not going to like my answer, but the SouthOrd Comb picks are my go to. They should last a lifetime if used correctly, if they twist or bend, that’s a use issue

@@LockNoob gotcha! I guess that ones on me then. I have covert instruments ones to, and I had no problem. Should I polish the southord ones to dull the edges? But thanks for reply
