- ** Still learning how to figure this thing out and refreshing myself with Pro 700 monitor đ, it's been a few years since I ran one on a sprayer.
** Ps: I did figure out how to extend my wheels, it's through the corner post haha đ đ€·ââïžđ€Šââïž. Thanks tho
** I look forward to pumping some serious loads through this thing on chickpeas, I ll take the duels off and see how it works! đ
** thanks for the support and interest in what I do and check me out on Patreon, you won't regret it.www.patreon.com/bePatron?u=25...
I definitely see why road speed is so important to your farm. Your fields are ridiculously far away. Our farthest field is 10 miles but we have a lot more traffic to deal with. I do love the dualsđđon the this sprayer. We're in the market for a new sprayer so your pros/cons on all these sprayer are REALLY helpful. Thanks Mike. Have a good day bud!!
Good morning Mike.. Thank you for taking me along for the ride... Now back to work for me đł
Thanks for all the interesting videos
đ
Love watching your videos please donât stop
Great video Mike keep up the good work be safe and have a wonderful day.
Great vid Mike. The Trident is now available with a 1600 gallon tank. Like you said, you can get it with a Viper. Also they are available with the Raven XRT boom height. I would never go back to the previous Autoboom.
Keep making videos man, it makes me feel better since my 9 to 5 is boring and ive always wanted to be a farmer.
Made our day Mike, from us in lockdown, in Aussie land .
Great video Mike
That green one sure looks good!
New toys looking good.
This is the nicest sprayer of all the ones I've seen you run yet!
Well itâs a Case so I would hope it would be one of the nicest...Heâs been trying European sprayers which arenât the best for southern sask.
We never got to see him run the Deere and still haven't seen a hagie
Kicksss farm man, very nice setup!
Like to see the right side rails come down when steps come up for roading, go up when steps come down for egress of the machine . Safe yet functional. Oh yeah case add cup holders... Mike demands it....
Axle adjust is done in the virtual terminal. You can pick your width. And then hold your switch under your arm rest
,a
With the 40mph empty speed, might be worth looking into loading at the field. If you were to pull the trigger. Road speed always seems to be your most important pro...well I guess itâs a toss up between speed, cup holders, corner posts, and sound system :) Be well all.
Yeah a lot of wasted time going back to the farm.
I'd imagine it's just a logistics thing when you run multiple sprayers in different fields.
waiting for the "mike falls of the sprayer" videođ
I think itâs kind of funny to watch farming videos of different farmers, you the guy that farm with old Equipment some no ac and no cabs Never hear them complain about it, then watch the big money farmers always complaining, I guess that just the way it is lol đ
Mike, you have a kings ransom invested in equipment!
Simply makes my day getting that notification đđđđđš
Itâs almost time to start demoing combines!
âYou fall of the sprayer, you should probably not be on the sprayerâ from the guy who hits his head every time he sticks his head under something.
đ đ đ
thanks mike great vid ...peace out
Mike to space the wheels use either the programmable display on the instrument cluster (A-post) or through the rate controller via the Virtual Terminal (VT) display
C'mon Mike you can't move your head a little bit to see past the handrail lol. I farmed with open station Farmalls for many years , heat and dust in summer and cold as hell in winter and the constant smell of Hytran .That sprayer would be like heaven đ
My grandfather leveled the Tulare lake bottom for J.G. Boswell in the 60s and 70s, no air, some scrapers and bulldozers were still cable driven. Imagine the hydraulic improvement, etc. 50 years later what changes.
I love and agree what you said "I'm not a cow guy" i would rephrase it and say "I'm not a animal guy".Mike i think we can all agree which sprayer looks the best! The caseses look good when folded but not too much when unfolded.I think the trident was built so that case had a multipurpose machine that could run a drybox as well.
Kinda like Deere
trident sure looks best of all the sprayers
Poor Mike!!
Is there anything we can do for you?
I mean, this is terrible...
Cup holders on the wrong side...
đ€đ« đ€Łđ
Guess, it is even worse. Not a single cup discovered whatsoever over the whole yourney.. Not a cow kind of guy as well, hope you'll find the steak at the plate at his place he's is loooking for. But.., start to worry a bit. Haven't seen anything of Ashtyn since you got married..?
Just joken, awesome race video Mike!đđ Maybe can start e new race competion next to F1 or so, with the aim of catching bugs. But first lets fix the braking issue? Crops look great, 2020 July proofs shows to be more wet than average.
That case is nice unit
They have auto axle adjust using sensors in the axle adjust cylinders. There is a tab in the pro700 for it, under the iso screen if I remember right. Can offset the axles front and rear from there as well.
The railing is there for the guy thats rides out there with his girlfriend/wife driving so he can video for his you tube channel.
Nice row of toys looken good
0:34, instruction book, oh that's right, who needs it, lol.
25 mph loaded 40 mph empty is like Granny from Beverly Hillbillies and her still in winter, it's terrible going down to the still but it sure feels good heading back with the whiskey.
đ, yeah, imagine 40 loaded tho đł
EVERY1 knoz you ALWAYS
''go home FASTER'' !!!!!!!!!
lol hahahahaha lol
These video release times are perfect, just before I go to work lol
Haha awesome! đ
In Europe it is even better .... just before going to sleep!
Welker Farms just put up a couple of those Westeel grain bins like you have there. I think they were 25,000 bushels. They look like high quality bins.
That's awesome! Just so eveyone knows, I am out service for a few days
My stepfather spraying with a Massey Ferguson 135.
It makes 17mph empty in tailwind
Never seen a sprayer with dual wheels before, kinda cool to look at!
Millennial farmer has rear duals but with them all around itâs pretty awesome
Big Brute says âhold my beerâ.... (53)
You'd think that thing could comfortably carry a 2000 gallon tank.
40mph is great đ
25 mph might be slow for you up there when loaded but the 42 mph empty might make up for the time difference. Go online and i bet you could find a cup holder to mount on the right side :)
I don't know wheather they sold in NA or not but I would suggest to at least take a look at Horsch sprayers, Horsch Leeb to be precise. I heard a lot of good things about them.
Maybe next year since spraying season should be over soon.
5:56, just grab the torch Mike, lol.
The smoke wrench eg
They make after market cup holders, tape, hole sow and hot glue.
Looks like rains ahead of you
I know itâs a demo but what do you think about sending a hole saw through that panel to get a cup holder in there shouldnât be that many wires under theređŹ. Thanks Mike
Thinking the axle slides are bolted the large bolts there that you thought where holding the plastic liners in are all the way through they pry didnât want someone walking the slides out with duals onđ€·đ»ââïž
Case the best
Bars are on their ordered by OSHA for safetyđ
Some numpty would fall off the sprayer and the sue case for not having a hand rail. You know this Mike. Even farmers can be snowflakey!
That's true.. But I would remove đ
It's called "taking responsibility for your actions" something the world has forgotten about
Mike Mitchell totally agree.
If u were to get one of those would u put the dry box on to float fertilizer or strictly use it as a sprayer?
Mike, you should try out a New Holland SP300.R. We switched to The New Holland rear boom after running Apache for many years. Mechanical drive with front wheel assist. 40MPH loaded. Viper4. More fuel efficient. Better than Apache and less money than all the others
What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? Is it a monster?
The magnum cabs have the cup holders on the left to make room for the seat to swivel to the right.
I assumed it was so you didn't spill your drink on the swiches
Iâm curious if a serious spay tender would work well for your operation? Similar to the one Tony Fast runs. Pretty sure that oneâs even made in Saskie. You guys have truck operators, plenty of supply, and a ton of ground to cover.
The 25 is a safety feature so you don't go to fast and can't stop and 40 is hard on parts
Hey men. I enjoe your videos so much. All than so great. I have one question. Do you need some buddy for work for you? Hahaha
Morning mike!
Morning!
Iâm not judging lol đ
Adjust your axle spacing in the ut
Then hold the switch
Also autofold will bring in and out of the cradle - you donât have to raise up first
Get the cal sorted on auto boom and get the flow rates fine tuned after a bit of work so they both fold at the same rates otherwise the faulure to move faults will send you mad
Okay, can anyone explain the tank being east west on the trident? If Mike mentioned it I missed it.
Hey mike. Your videos rock!!!! How much land do you farm???
So the important parts, hows the frig and sound system? Must have ordered the left hand version for the cup holders. Also is your field speed enough or are you wanting more?
No ditches for a good stuck comparison? Oh that's in the upcoming video đ
Good đđ
Cows are a expensive hobby lol. The guy I'm going to work for in neudorf area has 100 so that's plenty haha
Id love to see you try a haggie sprayer the guys i know who run them love them and theyâre supported through the john deere network
Because they are owned by Deere lol
Not a farmer. Mom was from Alberta. Does that count ? Really enjoy your videos & the wide open skies.
I seen a JD X9 1000 today.
Will the possible rain not dilute the spray chemicals
When we got our new Patriots they had the tires set at 65psi and was way to much, could check that. Dont need to lift out of cradle with the 120 foot booms and autofold, just hold the button
Right, I should check that! đ
And right! Ours did that too haha
I see you are trying to sell one of the rx620 on kijiji. Going back red or something else?
I think the 25 mph loaded is there to protect the tires. It's really bad on tires to run too fast with a heavy load. Local tire shop in my town complains that the sprayer guys bitch about their tires coming apart when the run 35 mph all the time loaded.
Well Mike cut that rail off an put you a smaller one up. But kept the original one an when you get rid of it put the other one back on sir. You hav a clear shot then. Anyway my two cents worth. I enjoy you videos thank you
Need cup holders eh, common case
Hey mike I know sprayings nearly done but Iâd highly recommend a Bateman sprayer itâs European and is probably the best sprayer Iâve ever driven.
I donât think they are sold in North America
Jaxon Eaton oh yeah silly me
Gotta give up on your pro 700 bashing, some of us prefer it over the viper crap and spend a few hrs in the cab as well..lol yes more speed than 40 is a must
And the question we all wanna know the answer to.
How does the audio sound like?
Red power all the way
Could you use a sprayer for fire control?
The Apache will run 40 but their is a setting that makes them only run 35 that they are all set at
Maybe there's a setting that it knows it has duals on it, and it won't put the wheels out any wider with duals on??
did in not come with an operators manual, they usually have a little info on how to operate it
One bonus of reseeding is you have a field to use your new toy in đđ€Ł
A saz all will eliminate the railing in no timeđđ€Ł
bilodef66 Zep, Spelling a little off this morning đ„ș
Mike I know this is a no one the reason they put those guardrails up there they don't want you falling off do you know how crazy you are sometimes have a good day my friend God blessđ
Itâs made for left handers
Sprayer looks awesome Mike! Are you sure it is not just a sprayer for left handed people, with the cup holder being on the left side?đ
đ It might be!
đđ
How come you guys donât have spray trailers. So you donât have to go back to the farm. What do you do about that really far field. (The last field you planted)
Hey mike, great video, im from dennark and I willy like all your videos, do you have a video there tells your story? How big is the farm and way are you getting all that new machine and just for a short time.
Farm size is 40k Acres.
Now I dount now acres is 40k 160000 hektar??
@@peterquisthansen8228 yes - 16000 hectares.
Thanks đđŒđđŒ
Do use have your own yards?
What is your biggest grain bin
I would love to work in Saskatchewan
Hi, my 12yo son wonders if you take on seasonal staff? He's planning his year out when he's older and would like the chance to experience arable work in Canada. We're UK farmers but I think he wants to drive larger kit than we have here!
Steel (heavy) booms vs aluminum (lighter) vs carbon fibre (lightest) (which they do make & are repairable). What would you prefer?
đ€
Can't you get the 40 miles per hour version of your 930 and 1050 Fendt in North America?
How is the tunes? Got any jam
**Sprayer speed** on the side panel there should be a knob to adjust your preferred speed. The 5550 travels upwards of 40MPH. so try looking for that knob and see if thereâs a difference.
Levi Smith it was in a speed derate due to weight
