•They are small so perfect for apartment/small houses.
Pros:
•They don’t cost much to look after.
•Doesn’t bark much
•Short walks
•Sleeps 16 hours
•he can entertain himself well.
Cons:
•Expensive to buy
•Limits holiday time
•Ongoing costs food/toys/vets
•when he barks, he BARKS
•He isn’t that easy to train not too bad though. Hates his crate even after training him every day.

I had a dachshund that I was “babysitting” but I really had one because I had a friend that was 70 but he died because of a stroke and we kept his dachshund but my mom and dad do not work from home and I go to school and every time we were not home he was barking and howling and we couldn’t get another dachshund because we live in a town home so we had to give him away but I still do LOVE dachshund’s.
