I just bought the 677ESPD Master Lock, which looks just like the first one.. and also viewed several of your videos and now I think using a lock and leaving door open es the same....... incredible videos

**master lock stock prices suddenly fall to zero**
So the company loses everything, lock stock and barrel.
Master lock is a subsidiary of fortune brands home & security inc (FBHS), which funny enough fell 2.95% on Friday.

This man just threw shade in the classiest way I've ever seen...
People say "you can't buy class"...
That's because this man stockpiled the entirety of the stuff.
ThatWaffleEater 1 he took it from a warehouse that had a masterlock padlock on it
Oh, I get it! They're called "Master" locks because they make you feel like a master lockpick!
literally have one of these locks in front of me as i watched this video... its the master-keyed locks my work uses
Why is this in my recommended and why did I watch the whole video
Ikr
be worried, its a scary slope...i was the same a few weeks ago...then i kept on seeing the videos, i havent been able to stop since...help me
So you'll have secret knowledge that you can pick locks.
I thought the same thing a week ago and now it’s the only channel I watch
Me
Master Locks are the most dependable locks out there. You can always depend on them to disappoint.
You can even depend on them to open... whether you have the right key or not.
I like my locks to be dependable and consistent.
You had expectations to begin with?
This is a paradox
It is quite amusing a company synonymous with security to the common underinformed consumer cannot produce a product to provide any semblance of that to a purchaser...
Good to know about the 141, I used to use these a lot for locking my luggage or other small items.
Me: hey I have that lock!
LPL: opens it in 2 seconds
Me: not anymore!
I like how he locks the keys onto the shackle because he doesn't need the keys
It helps to not lose them when you have so many if he needed them he can just slide the key from keyring
Isn't that how we all keep our padlocks and keys together? Storing the keys in the keyway isn't very secure, they can come out and get lost, and keeping them in the keyway can compress the springs over time and may weaken them. If you only have a few padlocks I can understand there's no need for any organization though.
but its only a key ring so it can be removed without the lock needing to be opened
He can still take the keys tho, he doesnt need to open it
Padlocks often ship with the keys like this
Source: I'm a locksmith
LPL: "Today I'm going to show you 3 separate products."
Me: cool, a three minute video, three products, three locks, a minute each.
LPL: *proceeds to desecrate 8 locks*
Me: 0.0
I mean those 8 locks still fall into three seperate product lines, so it still counts as three
Don’t forget how a lot of the time was also used to thoroughly explain each one
They simply don’t make em like this anymore and these gems of CZcamsrs are extremely hard to come by
anytime im out i always youtube the lock in use on this channel and see how to open it the fastest... best education channel
Another brilliant video by the master
Hmm I guess Master lock designed all the locks in Skyrim as well 🤔
Hey skyrim locks are hard, idk what your talking about.
Remember to bring atleast 100 lockpicks if you’re gonna pick a master locked chest with only 15 lockpicking skill. God that is tedious.
@@quantumleap4023 it's pretty easy if you remember to bring your INSANE AND GODLY BROKEN SKILL OF FREEZING TIME, then I would say it's really not all that all that bad...

Lock Picking Lawyer: there is NO lock that will keep your stuff safe
The 450 dislikes are from Master Lock's executives.
450 executives -- here's the problem: hire better engineers, fewer "executives". It would also be nice if you didn't make all of your products out of Chinese-ium metal.
Haha
Jesse Brown that’s the most clever thing you could think to write? Lol
@@thatguy1321 its true lol just crazy how fast people can get to our things under lock and key
Jesse Brown faster than we can using the key apparently
I have used a Master Lock for years on my tool box, it get locked and unlocked daily when I'm working.
I lost the keys three years ago :P
😂
That's hilarious
Lock for show
Why is this the last hilarious thing I can find on CZcams. It's so good keep it up man 👍
Thank you for the explanation on these on these locks
lpl pulls out a the black master lock at the end - Me: hey that looks just like my garage door lock.....oohhhhhh that's not good.
at least you know to change out your shit lock
Bro that was too funny 😂
Address? Xd
Not my house but same, lol. I have 3 for trivial stuff.
And that's exactly the point of his videos. So that people know to replace their shit locks.
"You cant open 8 master locks in less than 30 second"
LPL: "They called me a madman"
Or, "hold my beer"
That made me genuinely laugh.

Forgot the combination for my 178 lock and I’ve been using this method for almost a month now
When I watch an LPL vid about Master Lock, one question always occurs in my head: Why the hell are they called Master Lock?!
Marketing.
A master key is a key that opens multiple locks. Therefore a master lock must be a lock that's opened by multiple keys.
@@enriqueflimberger Okay, that made me laugh. xD

Well he couldn't have done that if they'd been more competent.
My elementary and middle school locked up Chromebooks and iPads with the same lock as the second one. Just imagine how many Chromebooks could be stolen.
Wooooow... love love love that I have not one, not two, not three haha, but FOUR different locks shown here, one on my newly-purchased (but still thankfully empty) garage and another on my (packed to the gills) storage unit. At least that unit has another lock on it too? I'm afraid to look it up here and see if it also sucks! Thank you.
Terrifying how easy these locks are to break. I’ll think twice before I lock up my things with a master lock. What a joke of security.
That's is why I never keep my wallet in lockers
