If you have a cricket, put your fleece on the fabric mat, and put those circles into the cricket and have the cricket got it so you don't get tired and sore lol. Plus you can make the little circles in the middle as well so an extra step you don't have to do

Adorable variation to the snuffle mat. Thank you for the tutorial and the pattern. I have a chihuahua, so may attempt different facial feature (big yoda ears ☺️) Also, thanks for great advise on cleaning! So excited to make this for my fur baby!

We accidentally cut a bunch of 4" circles, so this is perfect! I'm curious though about using felt for the face and tail. What is the advantage to this? And does it have to be wool felt? Thank you!
Thanks for your question. The advantage of using felt for the face and tail is just that it is a little stiffer than the fleece. You could certainly give it a try making them out of fleece but they might be a little floppy. And no the felt does not have to be wool felt. Please let us know how it turns out for you!

I went to a fabric store and bought what I hope will be enough felt. But I went to a 2nd hand shop and rummaged around for the fleece! Got a nice slinky fleece maybe "corral" fleece wrap-around cardigan/jacket, some kid's polar fleece pajamas and a nice fleecy type cushion cover, oh and a straight out 2 mtrs of nylon-fleece type material for under 1o bucks the whole lot!! Have washed them and have come up well the items all picked for their complementary coloring. Thanks again😺😺😺🤎🤎🐕🦺🐩🦮🍖🌭🪡🔳
What a clever idea to find fleece at the 2nd hand store! It's fun when you can find just what you're looking for at those shops...especially when you can get so much fabric at such a great price with a variety of colors that go so well together.
