Really cute idea. I would leave the cherry off as well. My youngest eats things. She is great at destroying toys but eats them as well. Ivlovecthe shuffle toys and mats.

Thinking I may put the colors in between to appear as sprinkles.

I have a Penny Lane also. I thought that I was the only furbaby Mom on earth who had a baby with that name. My husband named her. ❤

I am probably asking in the wrong spot...but... I have been working on a snuffle mat...what type of fabric did you use? Do you always use fleece for your snuffle toys? I am using some heavy canvas that is very colorful. Problem is that I do see some fraying and I"m not sure if dog parents would be happy with that. The frayed pieces that come off very short, so it wouldn't cause any blockages or anything...thoughts? Can you please let me know. Also, I made a couple of snuffle balls. I used polar fleece and they came out beautifully. As you know that material is quite expensive. What types of fabric do you, or have you used? Thanks in advance.... much appreciated!

Thanks for your question. We tend to use either fleece or felt for our snuffle projects because it doesn't fray. You could try using pinking shears on the canvas to help reduce the amount of fraying. Please let us know how the mat turns out for you!
