I am a relatively new viewer to this channel (I know, forgive me). The chemistry between you two gents works brilliantly. Although I am retired, I spent my entire working life in an office management environment, always smartly dressed in a suit and tie. While my natural fashion sense and style leans towards you, Chris, I have to say that Austin's dress code ideas get my highest praise for the way he schools the younger man in how to be stylishly dressed whatever the occasion. The jackets, shirts, ties and pocket squares shown in these videos are truly exceptional and the styling choices from both of you show them off at their best in the most pleasing and original way. There's lots to take away from each presentation. Full marks!

I entered the corporate world in ‘98. Office wear generally aligned more to the styles advocated by Chris. I pine for those days, but I’ll be retired before they return, if ever. Austin is spot-on regarding looks for present day.
I’d add that dress codes today are comprised of both styles, dependent on which segment of the business world in which one is employed and the level of management. Upper management, finance, and law still maintain the style of Chris. Middle management, Pharma, tech, and academia tend towards Austin. Academia became less and less bespoke starting in the 60s. In the US, college campuses are the embodiment of lurid dress codes.

Hi, thanks for you thoughtful comment! Yes, modern dress attire is definitely sector dependent, but overall most industries do seems to be tracking towards a more casual aesthetic over time.

Great content, but the background music is a tad too loud.

My office uniform is a mix between both gentlemen's style. Dress shirt, pants (chinos, flannels, dress pants), sport coat and dress shoes. I work in the metal and machining industry in the US Midwest. I feel well dressed for the office and be prepared to visit a supplier at any given time without thinking whether my clothes are appropriate for it. I agree with Chris that a polo shirt with a sport coat needs a decent collar. Otherwise it looks dreadful.

Great video guys, keep up the good work!
Can we have a video in future where both of you do cold weather looks? I'd like to see how both Austin and Chris uses accessories to keep warm and dress up a bomber jacket, waxed jacket or topcoat. There could be a weekday and weekend looks from each of them?
    Something to consider... :)

I think other people have already mentioned this but i wanna stress this again. please cut the background music for this kind of informative and long range videos. It’s getting annoying now.
    Kind regards 😇

Please undo only the top button. Seeing someone’s chest hair isn’t good.

I think only one button undone is like no man’s land. Either button up and wear a tie, or be intentional and undo 2 buttons.

@@austinpollak Hi Austin, I'm not an expert on this topic so I'm not sure. But I would probably follow Chris Modoos lead and just wear what he does 🤗

@@Tie-clipand you would always be the best dressed guy in the room! We’re just trying to provide alternatives to also being the best dressed guy in the room, but maybe not in the “traditional” sartorial sense.

Just lose the background music, these are meant to be informative and relaxing the music makes it feel cheap and 90s

I like the background music, I think it adds to the video. The brand has a long standing theme going on with this back ground music, to change it now would be odd.

Always button up and wear a tie, unless you are on a hot date with a woman then that’s the only way I see myself undoing a button or 2 and losing the tie. 👍🫡
