When I make dua for a wife, I always add after oh Allah bless me with a righteous spouse, who will increase me in imaan and taqwa and whine I will increase in imaan and taqwa aswell

Akhi, we must absolutely have tawakkul in Allah SWT. But are you so unaware of what these people are saying that you genuinely don’t understand them? Even if you have tawakkul and marry the most righteous spouse in the world, are you really going to say that there isn’t a problem right now in the world around you?
You know this is true, my brother. I only advise this wishing goodness for you and the Ummah that we address the issue at hand. One must still face the reality of their situation and work towards it. When Prophet Muhammad SAW was preparing for the Battle of the Trench, he had full tawakkul in Allah SWT-more than anyone. However, he still did acknowledge that the situation was dire. Moreover, he and the other sahaba still worked tirelessly to dig the trench. The same advice applies here. Alhamdulillahi Rab al’alameen. @@abelievereverrising283 Idk where you live but that has not been my experience at all. The overwhelming majority of marriage advice given in the Muslim community (from what I’ve seen) has been the same rehashed & reused platitudes said by the brother in the video.
I think it’s really difficult to find such a husband here in the west .. especially when you don’t wanna talk to non mahrams.. but prayers are realy powerful I always pray Allah grants me a righteous husband who is good in his deen n duniya n loves Allah n loves me for Allahs sake .. I guess we will see what prayers do to our future
It’s truly sad it’s hard because We make it hard, nobody is following Islam, this is the state of the Ummah we are too busy doing everything non Muslims do following them imitating them We don’t follow Allahs rules and the prophets so of course it’s hard for us especially getting married everybody is so busy doing whatever they want if only Muslims followed Islam properly we wouldn’t be going through this

The fact when we mentioned things like "especially when you don't talk to non mahrams" indicates a lack of belief in Allah and more believe in asbab (ways) because indeed Allah is not dependent on asbab (ways) specially when Allah has made them Haram for you so make sure to trust in Allah and try halal ways to get one because indeed if Allah wills no matter how Haram ways you try you will get a husband who will make you hereafter miserable.

Marriage can be blessing for some and can be trial for some . But remember it requires alot of patience to deal with . Not everyone who marries are soulmate to each other as you can see in the case of Asiya R.A. and firawn that’s why it’s said to marry someone because of their deen and character . Not even his looks nor even his money can replace the amount of peace that lies in man with deen and vice versa too . We need marriage for peace and if we marry according to our worldly desires it doesn’t only takes away our peace but at the same time it can take away your whole self . So choose wisely .

Sister, I'm born Muslim but unfortunately people in my culture value the wrong things when it comes to marriage, so for while I was losing hope. But I started making sincere dua since last Ramadaan, and I've felt content in my heart since that we will surely be blessed what is best for us. In the meantime we still need to try, so I have spoken to a few people without success, but I still pray and I know for sure I will be blessed with the best for me inshaAllah. So don't lose hope, Allah swt chose you and guided you and as long as we remain faithful and ask then He will give us what is good for us ♡

I pray all will go well for you and this will be the best time to make dua for a good spouse with deen, who will bring you closer to Allah and who will treat you well. I have a dua for a good spouse on my dua list that I read every night last Ramadaan and I'll be reading it again. If you don't have a dua list I suggest you make one because it will be easier to remember what you want to ask for. Nothing is too small or too big for us to ask for. May Allah bless you with a beautiful Ramadaan and grant you strength if you ever experience difficulty, and I will also keep you in my duas xx

As a 30 year old Muslim man who’s been rejected my entire life, i would sacrifice everything in my life to experience the sweetness of halal love for even an hour.
Sadly it’s not written for me and I hope I’m taken away from the world as soon as possible.
This world isn’t worth living in without tasting the sweetness of love. And all this love trapped in my heart that I want to pour on a woman, love and cherish her, is physically and emotionally torturing me and driving me to the point of insanity. Without love, I feel empty. I can’t imagine living another 60 years and dying alone.

Overglorifying marriage is a huge problem that you’re contributing to. Most women will be in Jahannam due to their ingratitude-and especially towards their husbands. That literally means for most people, marriage isn’t what you’re saying it is.
I would also like to add that religiosity alone isn’t what makes for a good spouse. There are tons of disbelieving women who make for better spouses than “pious” female sheikhas. Women weaponize the deen against men just as disbelieving women weaponize culture against their men. This is the nature of women.
What you’re saying is true, but honestly akhi, instead of hyping up marriage in a way that can (and has) lead to false expectations-and for a whole minute, too-before giving us the most basic advice that LITERALLY every Muslim knows, why don’t you try giving us something that actually addresses the marriage crisis? None of you people ever do smh.
Thabit bin Qays RA is one of the sahaba that were promised Jannah (Sahih Al Bukhari 3613). He had a wife who stated that she cannot find ANY faults/defects in him, yet she just could not stand him. This woman is also a sahabiyaat, meaning she was more righteous than all of us-just as Qays RA was.
However, it’s clear that piety and righteousness alone do not make a marriage. Other narrations report him being divorced due to his ugliness. It’s clear that religiosity and piety are not enough. The Prophet SAW even said that one can marry (a woman) for beauty, lineage/status, wealth, and religion, and while he (SAW) recommended religion, you are still ignoring the other parts.
This is from the fitra, and it cannot be ignored.
I am a Muslim woman from Egypt, and I partially agree with what you say. I think the real problem is most people (men & women) are just not qualified for being married. They don't have the maturity or wisdom to be able to navigate through life with another person
