I was lucky enough to see two of them when sailing 30 miles off the coast..

Whats the difference between North Atlantic Right Whale,Southern Right Whale and North Pasific Right Whale?
I think the best way to tell them apart is by looking at the white patterns on their bellies.

It makes me so upset that they are now facing extinction thanks to lawmakers pushing to protect lobster fisherman. Deaths from entanglement in their fishing nets alone is enough to wipe out these beautiful creatures
Thats the goal , to upset you so you will donate , there was an incident in 2017 where these whales changed their feeding patterns and several were entangled , the problem was solved a year later , since then its been a vehicle for a handful of narcissists to grift money from decent caring people

Lobster fishing is a non issue. There's never been a recorded death of a Northern Right whale from the Maine lobster fishery. There's one fishery that's a problem (hint, it's not the lobster industry).
But hey, why let facts get into the way of a good story. Keep donating.
What can be done for them?
several right whale perished in 2017 because their feeding patterns changed , the problem was delt with over the 2018 2019 migratory seasons ....... now you are being groomed to donate to narcissistic grifters
only around 100 are left and they gonna be extinct. Try to get a chance to watch them before its too late. Its so sad :(
