100% agree. I'm glad I happened to watch it when I had the chance last week before it got taken down. I ended up telling my whole family about it while we were coloring Easter Eggs and they were all captivated just by the subject lol. Just goes to show how obviously Andrew was targeted for telling the truth and probing into something greedy pieces of shit didn't want him shining a light on.
Yeah it needs to go back up ASAP. I'm all for them making Patreon exclusive content, but if they release something important on YT and it gets taken down with a phony strike, the bad guys win if it never goes back up. I'm sure theyd much rather it be seen by less than 1% of its intended audience on Patreon than the full YT audience
LOL yall say BEST JOURNO EVER on every single video they upload. Lookup "brownnoser" as that's what these NPCs are... this channel is lazy and unprofessional, a far cry from authentic journalism.
As a politician at local level this pettiness has no ends. You are doing great work and this just shows that you are doing it the right way. You have my full support and I have even shared some of your points at county board meetings to show a different perspective.
You and your team's work is in my opinion, the most noteworthy and genuine journalism out there today period. It's always inspiring, and I appreciate your focus on presenting the facts as they are with minimal bias. Please don't let this change anything about the way you make your content. In my opinion, this is a sign you're doing what's right, as it's scaring those who are content to profit off what's wrong. Keep putting them on notice, Andrew. I and so many others believe y'all will absolutely succeed and blow up the scene.
While I'd also love to see the video reuploaded with the Fox 5 portion removed, I do think actually going through the legal proceedings to get it back up and press for compensation for the time it was/will be down would benefit the platform as a whole. This seriously needs to be fought against on CZcams for any potential change, despite how hopeless it looks with DMCA and safeharbour regulations.
Could maybe benefit the platform as whole in the long run, but will be extremely time consuming for Andrew, extremely costly as well because you need to pay for the lawyers as the case is ongoing, uncertain how likely it is to get the compensation and these things can drag out for years... what I'm hinting at it's easy to say things would be beneficial but damn would you want to carry that kind of risk by yourself.
@@Blashmack I've been through a few lawsuits myself, so trust me when I say I don't wish anyone the stress they bring with them, not to mention the financial burden. And frankly, I'm not a lawyer nor do I live in the US or know all the details of the law, so I couldn't even tell you if a precedent had the potential to solve this issue plaguing the website. But Andrew already said in the video that he considers sueing, so whether that is merely a threat to get a faster response or if he's actually capable and willing to go through with this is something he'll obviously has to decide for himself.
@@devinpol4258 I might be wrong, but I think that's no longer the case for the first strike. I can't really find any updated sources for either, only that strikes may affect your monetisation/ability to live stream and that you're able to do a "copyright school" (a series of videos and a quiz I believe?) within 90 days of the first strike to become eligible again. But assuming he regains his monetisation, if he ever lost it, there shouldn't be any issues with reuploading the video without the Fox 5 clip I believe.
@SoundBubble as a Lawyer: CZcams siding with a company which is in clear violation of the law (assuming Channel 5 is considered journalism) is pretty damaging. This is an open and shut case so the fact that CZcams is siding with the unlawful act is pretty scary and I do think their management should shit bricks if this goes to trial. CZcams can't be shown this publicly violating laws in enforcing DMCA.
I very rarely comment on videos, but just wanted to say that in a world of short attention spans and short form content, your tunnels documentary had me completely locked in from start to finish. You showed a side of life that I am not exposed to, in a way that educated me and blew away my misconceptions. Look forward to what you continue to do in the future and I'm glad I got to see it before it was removed.
Just yesterday I was watching the documentary and I left it halfway through to finish watching it at dinner, when I looked for it from the history it no longer appeared, I looked for it for a long time and couldn't find it, I thought I had gone crazy. I hope things can be resolved in the best way. I love what you do, best wishes!

I work as a video editor on mainstream news channels for almost a decade. I can honestly say that Andrew's work is one of the finest I have ever seen in journalism. And yes, you may think I can't talk about journalism if I'm not one of them, but believe me, as an editor I have seen and heard some pretty wild and crazy sh*t that most journalists simply couldn't put out there for the world to see. Most of the time I'm left speechless or mad when I finish post-production with a news reporter - just because they don't want you to see things how they actually look or sound. @@moodswinggaming2972 Louis TheWho? You mean that guy that ruined his own career by interviewing Jimmy Saville right before it came out that he was an Epstein level pedo? Alt Media of all kinds should be viewed with continued scepticism just as much as any mainstream channels not least because it helps prevent people like Andrew becoming mere pawns and mouthpieces for the spread of nihilistic propaganda. What happened for instance to Andrews early work on "Furries" and "Flat Earth/UFO conferences"? Room 101?
There's a priest who works in the "ghetto"/with the gangs of STL. There's a lot of "I, me, my" but YOU encouraged that. Thank you. Give them hell, C5.
CZcams should remove the option to pull the whole video, if the infringing media takes up less than a percent of the run time. Force them to either leave it up or blank out the infringing visual or audio. Cant imagine the amount of frustration this caused best of luck and keep the good work going.
I can’t believe the default action for a copyright takedown isn’t just to automatically cut that part of the video, I’m no lawyer but it seems like that would work much better for the publisher of the video and would still protect the media company’s copyright
@@Formula1st agreed, can Andrew just snip that copyright portion out and re-upload? That should take < 1 hour. Unless the issue is that any re-uploads will still be demonetized, or the bulk of the earnings were generated from the 1st video and Andrew is trying to recoup that.

As a Vegas resident, I really appreciate the documentary you made about the tunnels. It showed me more to the tunnels than the section i personally explored and insight on to why people choose or are forced to live there. The input on our horrible DMV system was also nice to hear after they screwed me for 6 months when I was trying to get my liscence. There are police choppers with spotlights over my house in the middle of the night and when I try to find info on that where do you go, the news, the news never has anything regarding what’s happening in neighborhoods.
Lol im also a vegas resident and shi thats just what happens when u live in a city made for tourists.. they never gaf about us they care more about making money off us rather than help us. Bro I saw this as soon as it came out, and god damn I stopped everything I had to do that day. I stopped homework, I stopped, stressing, I stopped all responsibility. I then proceeded to binge this documentary and I am so glad I did while I could. It was truly a work of art. The ability to couple informative bits of homelessness that seriously need attention whilst humanizing these horribly treated people was brilliant. I seriously cannot be more thankful for your Chanel than I am as of right now. In a world where corporate greed dictates our gathering of serious world problems, this Chanel delivers no bullshit, straight to the point, this is whats going on, and this is what you can do to help. I would also like to mention you don't stand in the background, film these events, and comment about them in a little fancy suit while mentioning the discourse of society. You give unfiltered fact, there is nothing more true than to live amongst the homeless people, and talk to them as they are actual humans. Andrew you don't know who I am, but I want to say your are what this world needs, and I am so unbelievably grateful that other people notice your work. Yes, there are many problems to fix, but it feels as if this channel finally stepped up to help (Because no one else would). Your switch from exposing the problem, and showing the graphic reality of these people, to spreading how to help makes me want to cry tears of joy. I will continue to spread your work and tell everyone I can about it cause it is just brilliant. It makes sense why Fox wants to take down your stuff, they can't do this. They can't do it because they are worried about their precious little suits getting dirty if they to talk to a homeless person. Keep up the great work I hope this reaches you and your wonderful team.
Really glad I caught the video while it was still up fully. It was such an eye-opening watch. Hearing the stories from those who live in the tunnels and the systematic roadblocks they face in getting out is so important, but equally so was what Robert from Shine A Light talked about, how ultimately you can't force people to accept help with homelessness, addiction, and mental health if they don't want to. It's such a complex topic and you covered it in the doc so sympathetically and in-depth. Hope you're able to take this to court and kick their asses, I would love to see another another landmark fair use case win in favor of content creators, like H3's case a few years back. It's so important that larger companies aren't allowed to silence the voices of smaller groups that are out there doing the work that they're too scared or bothered to do.
I saw the doc before it was taken down. You have really grown as an interviewer and documenter and I think this is your best work to date. Keep up the good work and don’t let the big guys grind you down. It shows you are doing something right if they are coming after you.
Bravo mate! My brother has lived in vegas for almost 15 years, working for the county for most of that. He calls me every time hes required to clear out the tunnels. I have worked with the homeless in ca for over 20 years. Its sketchy & heartbreaking homeless have to watch as the county workers are forced to throw away all of their belongings that are in the tunnels. Clearly this creates a strong negative reaction from the homeless. Which has lead to county workers being attacked. There is never any outreach program present or opportunity offered by the county to assist in relocating or replacing their belongings. During the summer the employees are told to lock a water faucet that is usually used by area homeless to get life saving water in the summer. If found unlocked county employees could face immediate termination. I always encourage my brothers team to bring water, oranges, snacks & socks. Thank you for all of the outstanding docs. You’ve created. Mad love & respect for holding it down for the people.
I love how you respond how you do, making clear that you are disappointed without showing anger, and also backing up the legality of your actions. Andrew you are one of the best content creators on youtube, keep up the good work!

You are right. I lived in Vegas for 5 years (unfortunately) and it was common knowledge that the local news and powers that be covered up the many suicides that happens there. Don't want to bum out the tourists while they're busy throwing their money away in the casinos. You made a great documentary! As someone who experienced living in Vegas and whose family has been devastated by addiction, it was very impactful for me. Every single one of my coworkers in Vegas had a first degree relative whose life was destroyed by addiction and I worked in a well-regarded medical clinic. Las Vegas is a cesspool behind a paper thin veneer of glamor.

Just goes to show how obviously Andrew was targeted for telling the truth and probing into something greedy pieces of shit didn't want him shining a light on.
I liked it too. It’s a shame they flagged it smh.
You have my full support and I have even shared some of your points at county board meetings to show a different perspective.
keep it pushing brotha
God bless you 🙏🏼 there needs to be more honesty and integrity in this world. People not afraid to go against the herd. 🐑

So much THX for your extraordinary work with so much empathy.!!!
He can’t just reupload the video. His channel is on a strike. 90 days no monetized content and he can’t get any further strikes in that period.
I couldn’t have put it any better

Was able to see the doc before it was taken down, great stuff. Glad to have rediscovered your channel after not watching for years
Yes Andrew! So glad I watched it in time. Thank you for everything you intend to achieve 💛 your work is invaluable 😭

I hope things can be resolved in the best way. I love what you do, best wishes!

I did get to see it all the way through! Absolutely excellent work as always and you have millions of people supporting you, literally 🥴 keep killin it brotha 🤘

Andrew Callaghan is the best at what he does.
They literally just have to edit the clip out and they’ll get even more views on the reupload lol
@@nailinthefashionyeah and let fox 5 do as they please? Shut up
Well, this is probably the best advertisement for their patreon they could have ever hoped for, so I see no shot it's re-uploaded to CZcams.
@@Adeply11 yes bc they’re irrelevant to the story but y’all have egos and selfish interests outside of helping homeless people so here we are
I work as a video editor on mainstream news channels for almost a decade. Andrew, we're with you. We love you. We support you!
I often think he's sorta the next generations Louis Theroux.
@@moodswinggaming2972 Louis TheWho? You mean that guy that ruined his own career by interviewing Jimmy Saville right before it came out that he was an Epstein level pedo?
I'd be inclined to agree with you and I also don't blame Andrew for selling out to Adult Swim, but lets just be real about the level of shenanigans involved in 'The Culture War'... or should I say, the war on culture itself.
Room 101?
Watched it a couple hours after it was posted, very well made video. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I saw the video and it's great. I'm sorry for the loss, but It still made an impact. Thank you for your hard work!
There's a priest who works in the "ghetto"/with the gangs of STL. I was finally inspired by your video last night to finally reach out and see how I can support those in need and if he has any orgs I can help with. I am actively trying to help THANKS TO YOU ALL AT CHANNEL 5.
48hrs was just enough of a window that gave the push I needed to step away from somewhat indirect help like habitat for humanity and get way more 1 on 1 with MY community.
@@rc3398x he explained on instagram that when he tries to reupload it it doesnt work or rather that there isnt even an option on the publication tab to post it publicly, privately, or unlisted.
@@rc3398x I think re uploads generally don’t get many views because the people that have already seen it (subscribers) don’t watch it, so it the algorithm nerfs it and it doesn’t get recommended to other people. I’m not sure how the monetisation system works, but I’d hope that he gets to keep any ad revenue from before. Although knowing CZcams I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t…
CZcams doesn't care. It's run by AI now.
It was a genuinely heartfelt, fascinating and informative documentary. I hope you find a way to bring it back soon, because it’s truly stunning work

Except getting a id in Vegas while homeless is the easiest thing to do I’ve gotten countless id’s in under an hour multiple times
@@daddywaddy8017is your name papa georgio?
Lol im also a vegas resident and shi thats just what happens when u live in a city made for tourists.. they never gaf about us they care more about making money off us rather than help us. They control the media and pick and choose what goes out. They exaggerate certain things and downplay others.. its unfortunately the cost of doin business at our expense which is sad.
@@daddywaddy8017 Illogical because: countless ID cards either imply several ID cards at the same time, for what purpose? and Which authority gives you 2 or more ID cards? No! And then it would be a waste of money par excellence. Therefore, stupidest statement about this report.

Time to lawyer up, Boys.
“I binged 1:30!!!” Just no
Really glad I caught the video while it was still up fully.
I'm even more glad that I watched it now. Keep doing your work, man. Don't let these folks stop you.
I saw the doc before it was taken down. You have really grown as an interviewer and documenter and I think this is your best work to date. Keep up the good work and don’t let the big guys grind you down. It shows you are doing something right if they are coming after you.
It was one of the best pieces of journalism I've seen in years. The shine a light interview made me tear up.
Good for you!!!! Go to court! I’m so glad that I saw the documentary and glad you are helping people and spreading awareness.
