    Yes, there are outputs on each player as well as there are inputs on each player. You will take the output of one and connect it to the input of the other.

    As a Car audio installer and a Meca National champion, I will say although the video is well done it does leave out some things. There are hundreds of vehicle types. There are unique wiring issues with quite a few. "Universal fit" doesn't always mean just that. The seats and original headrests don't always cooperate and come out the way they are supposed to. Video is VERY unforgiving if wired wrong. I could go on but put quite simply this is not for the amature do it yourselfer. It is worth having professionally done. This video as well as most give you just enough info to get yourself into trouble. The video makes it look easy. It is for those of us that have done it a thousand times and know the "tricks" to doing it. Don't forget video's are edited to make it look easy. Your call cause it's your ride but screw it up and your out a lot of cash.

    • @jackhazz5777
      @jackhazz5777 Před 9 lety +5

      Yeah...maybe for those who have no idea on how to work with cars. But I will also be out of a lot of money for a simple install like that if I go to "professional" like you with an average rate of $500-$1000 and leave my car for 5 hours. The video is to give us a general idea, thank you very much.

      NO I WILL NOT PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES. you act like making a mistake on this wiring leads to death or blow up your seat. Learn by doing. Don't pay for things like this. If you have an average noggin and can read and watch instructions it's worth a shot. Even if you mess up the experience and knowledge you gain is more valuable than anything you'd get from having sg1audio doing the work for you.

    • @steve293
      @steve293 Před 2 lety +1

      OH AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!
      A lot of these "professional" installers take "professional" shortcuts to get things done quick and fast. Trust me, you as the owner of the device and vehicle, will put in 1000x the time, dedication and effort into doing a clean and correct install than a complete stranger.

    not to bad of a video to show you a general idea of how to tuck the wiring and what not. the cigarette lighter ones are stupid if you ask me. i prefer the woring to have a ignition power to shut on and off woth the car and the ground wire with the rca outputs. i just bought 2 sunvisor 12.2 i bought 2 headrest 12.2 and 2 25 inch flip downs for my 2007 impala. its pretty much just a show car. cant watch all the tvs while driving unless you want a huge ticket slash fine from the police. so i just tint all my windows, chrome grils chrome door handles chrome door trim 22 inch rims and sounds one amp for subs one amp for mids and w big agm drycell kinetic battery. i been doing my own installs for a little over 11 years. since i was 17 i always had a passion for car audio and video installation. everytime i see a car i began to judge and say i could have done it better haha. not to bad of a vid for the general idea of this process. thumbs up bud keep up the good work. you have the best video on this process on youtube if i must say. next time ditch the cigarette light ones! lol L8a

    • @Qualitymobilevideo
      @Qualitymobilevideo  Před 8 lety

      +Steven Jr Thanks for watching man! The ones with cigarette lighter power are more commonly bought so that's why we chose to do one with it, for the average consumer trying to do it by themselves. We'll be doing more in the future!

    this works with most cars but now with all. it won't work with my Volvo V50 for example. and this is due to the fact that the cylinder inside the seat (where you insert the head-rest bars, is closed at the bottom. so you can't run a wire/cable through it. if anyone has a solution for this, please let me know.

      @Qualitymobilevideo  Před 9 lety

      jennifer crawford There are headrests without the player, I would assume that there is a player somewhere in the vehicle. It would be surprising that monitors were added without a source. If the wire is damaged you will more than likely have to replace the system.

      @Qualitymobilevideo  Před 8 lety +1

      +Baticon Don't worry I know you meant DVD. Well I've never heard of anyone doing that to a headrest and I'm not sure it would work, double din's are usually around 7 inches in depth and that's not counting the space you would need for the wiring harnesses in the back for connections. Headrest are usually around 4-5 inches in depth counting the built in screens and system. There's no guarantee it would fit and would definitely need some serious customized installation. I would recommend something like the Clarus Phantom 1. It's an attachable headrest monitor with a built in DVD player and runs cheaper than most double din radios and works with any headrest. Here's our video on it: czcams.com/video/lsv9TGa5lg4/video.html
