- Get water to "walk" from one cup to another in this colorful science experiment. Capillary action moves colored water from full to empty cups. For some bonus fun, add dyes to the water and watch the water mix to form whole new colors! Which paper u r using
We're using paper towels but you could try this experiment with other tpyes of paper.

Umm you said that it can take hours but in the school i don't think they will wait for that time what should i do
You could set it up one day, let it run overnight, and have the students look at it the next day.

This experiment can take several hours, you can even let it sit overnight depending on how much water you put in the cups.
