- This amaco underglaze tutorial will walk your through glazing best practices and how to use underglaze on clay. I will be using watered down black velvet underglaze and wiping away with a sponge to create depth in my carved textures. Although you can do this on unfired clay, I will be demonstrating underglaze on bisqueware. One of my favorite products are the amaco watercolor underglazes and I will be using them in this video to create a subtle painterly effect. glazing for teachers can be tricky, and this is a classroom tested and approved approach.

That's so cool but I don't have the materials to make one :(
You can also use india ink if you don't have access to kiln and glazes. A clear gloss spray works well too. 😍
