Travelling through New Zealand by car for 13 days.
Using the GH4 for shooting video in VLOG-L and the GX8 to capture amazing 20MP stills.
For film i used the voigtlander 10.5mm T0.95 and the Lumix G X 35-100mm F2.8.
For photography we used:
Lumix G X 12-35mm F2.8
Lumix G X 35-100mm F2.8
Lumix G 100-300mm F 4.0 - 5.6
All aerialshots done with the Phantom3 Professional shooting in S-Log, attached with the ND16 Filter from DJI to shoot 25p 1/50ss.
Gimbal shots done with the Came-TV 7800 and SmallHD-AC7 Series for monitoring the shot, rest is handheld.

Hab das schon paar mal durchgekaut in den Kommentaren, anbei aber nochmal schnell auf Deutsch :)
Mit Kamera am Gimbal ohne das Frame zu ändern rückwärts laufen. In Post dann diese konstante, lineare Rückwärtsbewegung mit einem Crop/ZoomIn linear entgegenwirken. So sollte im Idealfall der Abstand zu einem Objekt im Vordergrund nie verändert werden, jedoch bläht sich durch diese Technik der Hintergrund auf.
Sinn der sache wäre es natürlich das mit einem echten Zoom mit einer qualitativen Optik zu machen, sodass man keinen qualitätsverlust durch den Post-Zoom hat.

Dude this is sick! New Zealand is top of the list now, looks absolutely insane. Loved the drone shot of the dolphins and then panning up to reveal the mountains. That was breathtaking

No it was not at all. It is just freedom, u hardly meet people along a 5hours drive :)
Sorry- don't mean to put a downer on this, as it really is stunning footage and well crafted! But drone filming - as beautiful as it is, in NZ is still under the aircraft act.. seeking permission to do this stuff is pretty key for our local flora and fauna to survive.. I think people are onto trying to allow drones and class them separate to aircraft footage, but for now- if your keen to do drone stuff in NZ you should seek a permit, even just to understand the area your shooting in, and the say- colony of birds your shooting around. The councils in NZ are super keen to get NZ on the map, so I'm sure they would be happy to hear about future drone inspired footage :)
Stunning footage, found you throught eh Lehua Media website. I've been shooting aerial and travel related videos for a while now, but trying to evolve a bit to combine more of people scenes with the aerial videos to improve my storytelling. You got a new subscriber ! This was very inspiring.

Hi at 31seconds there is some banding in the sky. Is that due to V-log or is it CZcams compression? I wish I had your Voigtlander! Great work.
+simianinc Hey, it doesn't actually need to be one of those 2 reasons. It's not youtube i suppose since other footage looks perfect, nor is it the vlog. Since i was trying to some kind of overexpose every shot to have a really well light ground there is the drawback of sometimes losing too much in the highlights. That's the reason i think.
I didn't set up any shot too long, nor did I check anything twice, run and gun, some mistakes are in this edit :)

I think this is one of the better videos ive seen on the gh4 NOT using the speedbooster. Everyone seems to love the sigma/speedbooster combo. Is this video on vimeo? I think this came out great but youtube somewhat destroys quality. Any ND filters used on your voigtlander or i guess any of your lenses? Great video! :D

How to do you feel like the compression of 420 color space holds up in V-Log. I have seen very little from the S-log 2 profile that excites me. Most of it looks compressed to hell and full of artifacts by the time you get any decent contrast and color back into it. This looks better. But its always hard to tell with CZcams compression.
i am pretty satisfied with it.
of course its never the same as recorded external. but when you are travelling you obviously want your equipment to be small and long lasting, so now this is great i think.
and as far as the low price of the gh4 and cincerning its just a small camera and not a red it records some serious images now :)
