Shot over 4 month, travelling through amazing landscapes, sleeping under the stars, hiking on mountains and exploring remote roads. Locations in this video where at Fjordland NP, Mount Cook NP and Arthurs Pass NP, Mavora Lakes and Lake Ohau.

I am a New Zealander, and I love my country very much. I have never seen these sites or even the very beautiful stunning night sky quite like that before. One would imagine it is the west coast of the South Island. Martin Heck has been exceptionally lucky to have filmed such stunning scenery of New Zealand. Thank you Martin for the lovely video you have filmed for all to see. :)
I love living in Florida. The ocean, gulf, the Keys, lakes rivers and the springs. I truly feel fortunate to have been born in the state and country I am in.
I have never been to NZ. But have read a lot on the history, looked at pictures and watched videos about the far away country in the secluded corner of the world. All through a screen on my computer or a TV. And I can't believe how much I want to live there! If I didn't have such a great family and friends here, moving to NZ would be my top priority in life.
Oh I wish I was just born there... :-)

Since I am 12 years old, my biggest dream was it, to come to New Zealand.
I'm laying here in my bed, in Australia, 24 years old on the edge of forfilling this dream, not knowing how long I'm gonna stay, thinking about my family, about the journey I had so far and the one which lays ahead..
And than I see this video.. And cry.. And know.. That I belong to this place.

Every night before I sleep I watch some video like this, mostly about the sky, and this purify my mind.
Wow. Just wow.
If you can see the stars like that with the naked eye I am absolutely blown away
4:00 pause, and realize that our sun is only one of the trillions of trillions of small bright dots in that sky and realizing how tiny we are in this universe
There is even tinier atoms !

This is so fascinating and remarkable.
I've seen a lot of time-lapses, really good ones at that, so many in fact that they had begun to lose their wow factor, and I was thinking maybe they were becoming a bit over done. And then there is this stunning creation, this masterful capture of light that leaves me floored by it's beauty, that makes me wish I had a 4k screen.
I miss this country so badly... Spent the best 6 months of my life there! Greetings to all the people still there! Enjoy it as much as possible!

NZ is my homecountry. Since I'm eight I am living in Germany. Germany is a great pleace to live If you like a good job, education, money and wonderful girls. But If you like to enjoy your Life and happynes you are right in NZ. I am 16 and i know what i want when I am old i will come back to NZ. But today I won't Go away from Germany.
We always seek new places, new people, new adventures. But in the end, we're standing alone on the edge - ready to jump. Ready

I was born in Germany and 2 years ago I traveled to NZ to backpack around the country. I truly love the nature and culture but I have to say that Germany is my first real love. I will never leave the country but will come back to NZ one day
