Caught my first bass last week, caught 3 in my first session.
Went back out today and caught probably 7 total, one of which was probably close to 3 pounds. Been having a blast!

Have you tried the Yamamoto 3.5" swim sinkos or 3" Zako minnows, the tiny torpedo for top water, mini box baits, or the tiny chatter baits ? They're all crazy great baits. The 3.5" swim sinko or 3" Zako minnows are my all time favorite baits hands down. The tiny chatter baits get crushed too. On the opposite end of micro sized baits, you should try a full sized, black, double bladed/buzzer, buzz bait lol seems crazy but it kills in the hot summer months, especially at night ! All of these are great options for large or small presentations, especially the small baits in the fall months. Keep the videos coming Noah, your channel is the best bass fishing channel out there !!

started throwing a bfs and its a blast i catch a ton of slot stiped bass on the tiny baits. picked up an ultralight spinning reel for some more ultra light action. awesome vid!

Caught my biggest bass and crappie on a small 1/4 oz trap this year , definitely my new confidence bait for sure , 6 pound bass and 2.5 pound crappie here in Nebraska I’d say that’s super good

I've been fishing the Rapala F3 lure. It weighs 1/16 oz. and is killer on my private lake. Been catching some nice blue gills and bass. I just found your channel and really enjoy what you guys are putting out.
Noah you need to try a bfs setup. Try a Strikeking Chick magnet or 70mm jdm jointed swimbaits.

I like the ugly stick dock runner with a good size 10 reel best size for small stream fishing. They need one 42" a little bit longer for medium heavy power rod and with the 36" medium power rod would be perfect. Ugly stick GX2 ice rod is nice but not even 36" long. The dock runner is perfect for most fish.

I vouch for the silver/red minnow rapala looking lure, i went down a creek one day fishing with it and caught 13 different small mouth and large mouth and even caught a carp that bit it for some reason (yes it was hooked by the lip).

I keep rattletraps in my box as sacrifices to new waters while learning where the snags are. Cause RTs are guaranteed to snag every time. Not much good for anything else imo lol.
Love to see this challenge, one person 25$ in bait, other 100$ in bait, but who has 100$ bait has to fish opposite hand. Casting and crankin.

You should try a different species like stocked rainbow. I’m not sure how it works in your state for stocked species.
