When I was in high school, my friend told me that he went on a drive with some other buddies and they pulled up to a 30ish year old guy getting out of his car. He was probably getting home from work, and they threw eggs at him as they drove by. At the time, I remember feeling shocked, and years later I still think about that. I can just imagine myself being in his position and feeling absolutely depressed to the point of it maybe running my week. The worst part was how the guy react, according to my friend. As someone who works in a news outlet, I too see stories like these dropped. A couple years back, we had a feel good week, where we covered all the stories like this that ended well. We switched to hard news. Hard news is important, but I’ve always believed we need the feel good because otherwise we have just sadness and anger… it ends up feeling like the Family Guy Clip where Stewie watches the news and it’s just “ADULT STUFF, ADULT STUFF, THERES A HURRICANE AND YOU DONT KNOW YOUR STATES YET”

Just to be devils advocate, you should know better than to trust a guy that looks like this man coming up telling you fill up a bunch of carts and I’ll pay for it. It would be even better if MrBeast went in and actually destroyed these Degenerate Pranksters as a warning for any of these trash who want to damage his brand by starting something with some low life pranks on some kids.
I remember I was 8 and we were on our way to pick up a new puppy. we drove 3 hours to meet the sellers outside of a Mcdonalds' so we could meet the puppy and waited there another 3 hours, until my mom was like "fuck it, we are leaving" and she texted the sellers "Hey, where were you, my daughter is sobbing" and the sellers texted back "it was just a prank, your daughter should really know better". Mind you, I was 8 years old and extremely excited to be getting a new puppy after a month before my old dog got run over and a goddamn cop came to our house and had our dog in a small box with a blanket over her and gave her back to us. You know damn well my mom and grandmother were absolutely pissed off and I was crying because I thought I was getting a new puppy. I remember it was on Valentines' day too. Luckily about a couple months later we found an actual seller and I got a puppy.

My mother-in-law likes pranks. She taught her sons to do pranks, mostly harmless...except for the person who has that moment of distress. I eventually brought my husband around. His brother is much, much worse. We got together recently and my brother-in-law started telling us about a recent prank; I interrupted to tell what I think: that it's a form of bullying. That it's not funny to get your laughs off by throwing someone off kilter. They said, "most people are good sports," to which I said, "because they know they'll be bullied even more if they aren't." I turned to my sister-in-law and asked if he pulled pranks on her when they were dating. She thought for a while before saying, "I guess I got used to it." She's a psychologist. Works with families.
I have an eight year old stepson and this has me FUMING. My husband and I do not have money. But when we do, we will make sure to buy our boy anything we can to make sure he is happy and that he is taken care of. How could someone do this?!

I'm glad Jimmy decided to make contact with the kid and his family. It feels so good when some assholes like these try to ruin someone's week and then it backfires, multiplying the consequences for the pranksters and the rewards for the victims alike.
I really appreciate how almost every CZcamsr on the platform is aware of the unspoken rule: don't mess with kids, and get actively angry when that rule is broken.
That's nothing. Even in prison if people find out you had messed with a child you are target number one. Pedophiles for instance are often beaten or even killed in prison by other inmates. It's actually kind of nice to know that even the most hardened criminals don't cross the line of hurting kids.
Shadow demon all ready mentioned the prison thing. We only have a few rules that everyone agrees on. Leave the kids alone, is universally agreed upon. Another really important one is, "don't be cruel to animals."
Sadly, some individuals are chasing their 5 minutes of fame without considering the moral implications of their actions or the potential harm they may cause to others. It's disgusting to witness the extremes people are willing to go to for a mere few clicks, even when going viral means the end of your reputation and career, it just makes no sense🤷♂
I think a lot of them do consider the moral implications and potential harm to others. I feel like it’d have to cross their mind at some point but they just justify it to themselves somehow. I think they are shitty
I'm just glad that even after all the bullshit that kid still can't stop himself from smiling when talking about the shopping spree he really got. that's a great kid right there I hope he has good friends
To add on to the person above's comment, trash(usually) only has one place; the dump, and that's the destination of this self-proclaimed 'prankster'. I'd say the kid has infinitely higher chances at a good social life in comparison.
The only thing more disgusting to me is that the low battery alert on his fire detector is going off and he makes us hear it throughout his apology. THIS is the true sign of a real scumbag.
I'm glad that the kid still got what he wanted. I hope that this makes it an overall positive experience in his memories. That prankster though... Yeah, everyone else said what was needed to say.
Lot's of disadvantaged people in this country get taken advantage of on a daily basis. Thanks for sticking up for the little guy as usual chuck. You're the man.
As I commented, pranks are funny where eventually everyone involved gets a good laugh. Like that guy with the fart noise maker who goes out shopping. That's juvenile but funny and if someone gets upset he explains and makes amends. Most of these are acts of cruelty and who cares if the dad "lied" or not, what those guys did was way worse and a much bigger lie!
That poor kid. He didn't deserve that cruelty whatsoever. I'm glad he was able to end up with a happy ending and that Target/the community was kind enough to be there for him. It shows there is still some hope for this world.
i believe that there should be a specific institution specified for people who are like this who serve justice under a different form of restricting their boundries and freedom to do anything but not treat it like an actual prison or jail. there should be something that teaches them for the consequences for their actions on a deeper and more serious level because atm people can easily get away with being a lowlife asshole to everyone within a legal right, plead freedom of speech or whatever and not be jailed because they havant done anything to break the law.
@@unboxing_legend7708Yeah, forced manual labor for a certain time period. Should also be done for prisoners instead of just letting them eat and sleep and wasting tax payer money.
I believe most of people want to do good and leave this world a better place than it is. It just takes one asshole to ruin work of thousand people. Kinda like 9/11
"he was trying to make us sound worse, I thought it was funny but he's lying. we're not super bad guys, we're just bad guys". That's like saying "I never killed 20 puppies, I only killed one puppy, I thought it was funny, whoever said I killed more than one puppy though? They're a liar. I'm not *that* evil!"
"We're like Mr. Beast, only we're totally different". How heartless, soulless and spineless does a person need to be to do this to another person especially a child in order to feel good about themselves.
Ironically, if those guys were true to their words and actually went through with paying for what they promised and posted that video, they likely would've benefited way more than a few days of internet infamy
that's why gaining clout from being a terrible human being doesn't work, the maximum thing you get if just a few days of internet infamy until you are quickly forgotten by the spam of a week
Something I deeply respect about Charlie is that he really seems to care about kids, and will publicly shame those who prank and humiliate children- like they are completely off limits
Jimmy should sue the prankster then have the winnings (guys future income for AWHILE) go to the kid for toys or college etc to both send a message to the prankster n punish him while helping the kid
Seeing that kid and his dad after hearing what happened immediately made me feel so upset. That kid looks like the sweetest little guy in the world, and his father seems so happy to have him as a son. I just can't fathom how people can be so cruel to children. You prank an 8 year old with silly shenanigans that make them laugh. Not by crushing their hopes and dreams.

As someone from Connecticut, I'm very proud of the community coming together to help out this kid ❤️ no one deserves to be "pranked" for being hearing impaired
We live in a generation that thinks that it’s okay to be mean to children. I’ve seen posts that are borderline discriminatory towards them, like if we were never kids at all. I have a huge respect for Charlie for how he addresses something when a minor is involved.
I used to run a fundraiser for the ACS where I put flamingos on people’s lawns from their friends for a day with a note explaining what to do. Send it to someone else for one price or just have it removed for another. Most people sent it along. Anyway one day I went to pick up some birds and there were only three left out of twelve?!? It seems the spoiled brat children of the homeowners decided they could keep them and give them to their friends?! What killed me was the no big deal attitude the parents had! I insisted that they cough them up or pay for them or I’d call police! That got their attention. As I left with a few more birds and some money I stressed that it was a successful fundraiser and no one had been bold enough to steal from me. Those kids went on to get arrested later in life, no consequences will do that. Shame on the parents who raised monsters who would do this to a disabled child.
As much as I wanna be absolutely pissed off at this situation, it warms my heart so damn much that not only the community, but the billion dollar company actually gave the kid the shopping spree he deserves
If you pay attention to the prankster's response video, you can notice he's also one of those people who lets his smoke alarm beep constantly as it's low on batteries. Which is hardly his WORST character trait, but as somebody who has always found this laziness and sound personally-maddening, I am absolutely going to point it out. EDIT: I dig all the comments guys. But the worst thing about this comment thread is how some people are dumbasses making this a race thing. Some of you are still cool, but those of you that aren't... C'mon guys...that's fucked up.
i went to highschool with him, he has no sympathy for anyone, he would do random annoying things like pretending to trip and drop a fake android in random classrooms
A prank should be something that turns out to be wholesome, harmless and ultimately fun or funny for all parties involved. Not an excuse to disturb, cause harm or inconvenience to someone else for your own amusement and benefit.
and assuming you fuck up and that doesn't happen you do what you can to make it right to a reasonable degree. sometimes you can't and it sucks but, damn if you genuinely thought it would turn out different you'd jump right back and try to make it up to those involved.
I'm kind of hoping as this story gets more coverage online, that Mr. Beast might end up getting in contact with the kid for real. Like that would honestly be the best ending to this; a lowlife TikTok prankster tried to make this kid and his dad the butt of their joke, but it would instead end with the kid getting a bunch of free stuff, hearing from the actual Mr. Beast, and the prankster himself only being more universally hated
A good prank is one that is harmless, and leaves both the prankster and the pranked having a good laugh afterwards. It is NOT supposed to humiliate or degrade any person. That's not a prank, that's just evil.
Yep, ding ding ding. I think that's the BIG key - does it make the target of the prank chuckle too? Okay. But people who dub themselves "pranksters" and do this kind of harmful, mean spirited shit.. they are absolute twats for sure.
Lol I love it you say exactly what I'm thinking. People need to learn the difference between "pranks" and senseless cruelty. What sucks is that all this """"content"""" is watched by millions. The same mindset that makes people crowd around and egg on a fight. Let's start giving out attention to the people out there doing good. And not feeding all the evil.

As someone with no children, it fills me with rage thinking of how that child felt. Absolutely reprehensible.
Just to be devils advocate, you should know better than to trust a guy that looks like this man coming up telling you fill up a bunch of carts and I’ll pay for it. His brother is much, much worse. We got together recently and my brother-in-law started telling us about a recent prank; I interrupted to tell what I think: that it's a form of bullying. That it's not funny to get your laughs off by throwing someone off kilter. They said, "most people are good sports," to which I said, "because they know they'll be bullied even more if they aren't." @@FUBARguy107It’s too late. Donjoe chose to be a goofy clown now.
I’ve seen this prank done countless of times why now it is finally getting recognized as bullying?

It’s sarcasm guys
TJ originally wanted Spider-Man toys. The Nerf guns and arsenal are for his quest for vengeance.
My heart goes put to Gabe. These heartless people will pay for this cruelty...
it genuinely makes me so happy that at the end of all this, this kid got to grab just about anything he couldve wanted. stories about kids getting a ton of toys or anything like that fr brings a joy tear to my eye. hopefully we see an end to the prankster bs on youtube though, that cancer has persisted too long on this platform.
Honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Beast saw this controversy and then surprised the kid or something. It’s nice to see that the vast majority of people in the real work are actually kind. It’s the chronically online kids who are just so loud
@@michaelsevilla7579i think he already did say something on twitter
@michaelsevilla7579 I was thinking the same thing. If anything, the kid is now closer to meeting mr.beast thanks to that idiot.
Where were all my free toys when I was a kid
It’s just hard to ignore it. Even comments condemning it still make them money. With outrage culture the way it is, they’ll be around for a while.
Charlie is right, these pranksters are clowns.
Not exactly. Clowns can be funny and likeable.
@@eternallyconfusedneveraware For real atleast being a clown is an actual profession and can bring actual joy. Clowns get a bad rap but i'd be willing to bet most of them are nice.
Those clowns that messed with children and gave clowns a bad name did that shit because they were pedo's, not because they were clowns.
Thats an insult to clowns
As a clown, I feel offended. I actually earnt my degree from Ha-Harvard.
Get off his meat dawg ☠️
Bro can't even defend himself with a straight face
The fact that so many people jumped in and helped the kid made me redeem my trust in humanity.
Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge just how adorable that kid is. I can't believe pranking that kid.
IKR!
