      Thanks for watching honestly I never unplug the battery when upgrading ram and SSD’s but I understand your concern but I advise being careful when doing so it’s usually a small ribbon cable that has a latch connected to the motherboard that needs to flipped up to remove the cable. Just imagine damaging that connection now your laptop won’t charge then you have a laptop that has to be plugged in at all times. But search CZcams for “ Lenovo loq 15APH8 Teardown “ good luck let me know how it goes.

    OMFG, i wanted to place my 2tb WD m2 from my PS5 in this laptop.... i thought... it doesn't fit, i'm not gonna swap the original right now. And now i see your video it has an additional slot ffs. i just closed up everything.
    Now the last question before i open everything up again, does an m2 fit with a heatsink? i'm not sure if i can take it off of the WD one in the playstation...

    • @charleeeugene
      @charleeeugene  Před měsícem +1

      Not sure sometimes those heatsink's over m.2 can be thick the only way is to try it out. But m.2 SSD's are super cheap and hopefully you live near a microcenter. Worst case scenario grab a new one. This laptop is nice I'm loving it!!!!! Let me know how it goes

    Nearly 4.5 minutes before even turning a screw, and over 10 minutes until the back cover is removed is just taking way too long - way too long to get to the point, IMO.
