A Boston Terrier is an absolute perfect match for a kid to grow up with.
I lost my first Boston Terrier after almost 12 years. I will probably be picking up my new Boston Terrier tomorrow.
We wanted to get another dog. We will never replace our sweet Dixie. I asked the wife and daughter what kind of dog. It was immediately decided on another Boston Terrier.
They are incredibly patient. They love everyone. Easy to housebreak. Ours never barked. She was loyal, and very well behaved. She didn't need a leash out in public.
Just a wonderful breed of dog.
How's the new dog. I know I'm really late
Only time my Boston barks is when someone rings the doorbell or knocks at the door. And also when he wants my attention. Great video
Lo Bella too! Thank you so much. What is your Boston’s name?
My Boston barks a lot. Most of the time. At people walking outside, other dogs, people at the door, bunnies, squirrels, mostly anything that moves. If someone knocks at the door he goes crazy.
2 pairs of raybans, 2 retainers couple thousand in vet bills when he’d get into trouble 😂 can’t wait for another ❤
My puppy does bark when we take him out for a walk, at people, at other dogs... We try to get his attention focused on us but he freezes and we have to even pull him to keep walking. I am affraid to start getting him around other dogs because he is getting bigger and stronger, I am not sure how will he react... Otherwise, he is great, we are super happy with him. He is fun, funny, energetic, interesting, loves being drammatic and starts tearing up when he comes to the house after a long walk, for the most part he listens to us, but is showing little bit of stubborn character. He is struggling with eye swelling, and that is something that not even his vet was able to help us with so far(we have gone trough entire bottle of drops and it still shows up..)
Your Bella is amazing 😊
Thanks Magi...sorry to hear about his eye. I would get a second opinion. Have you tried any type of behavioral training with him?
Thank you so much!
My boy Dexter is 6 months now and can relate to the gassy comments and the zoomies but his are around 4 pm
You have to get a Boston terrier my Gracie is so loving I Cling to every minute with her when she snuggles with me it’s the best,
I had a dachshund that did the zooms at bedtime until he wore himself out. Yes he was burning off his excess energy
I’m in the process of finding reputable local breeders. I’m looking forward to having a Boston companion
I’ve been binge watching these videos because I’m getting my boston in a month and i can’t wait!!!

Hi from Czech republic! I love your videos. We will get Boston terrier at the end of this year, so any information is very very appriciated 😊
Thanks you are so welcome! Are you getting a girl or boy?
Hello from Norway! I am in an early phase thinking of getting a Boston Terrier, and your videos are so inspiring and helpful. This last one, just to the point of what I needed to know. Thank you!
Tha k you so much! I’m glad they are helping. Are you planning a boy or girl?
Boston Terrier Society I am, for the time being, planning a boy. But there are not many breeders in Norway so the puppies are quite expencive. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Boston Terrier Society The price for a Boston Terrier in Norway is around 2000$.
Thanks
That is pricey!
1 week away !
I love my Cobie ❤
Grew up with Boston’s, getting my Boston puppy very soon. Can’t wait......and yes they are super gassy and snore loud. Lol
That’s great! Very exciting!!! Are you getting a girl or boy?
It’s a boy, the Boston’s we had growing up were boys too. He is 7 weeks today, breeder says he can come home at 9-10 weeks. I’ve been looking into collars, leashes, and harnesses. Any recommendations?
I don’t have a particular brand. But Emily and I use a slip collar for Bella who is 10. I would use a harness for a Boston puppy.
Great video! Love my Boston ☺️
Thanks! What is your Boston’s name?
@@BostonTerrierSociety Her name is Sneaky! :)
Love that name!
My Bostons never chewed on anything other than their toys. We had a toy box for them, and they knew anything in it was theirs. The only time they had an accident is when a toddler visited, and the dogs couldnt recognize the difference between those toys and their own.
I have an 11 month old bt and shes actually my daughter's dog and she sleeps with her at night. But she's with me all day while my daughter works and I have disabilities. She is a pistol for me. She barks like crazy at me and I can't get her to stop. She also bites me a lot, it used to be really bad she was showing dominance over me. We live in an apartment and im still working with her potty training. She won't cuddle with me , she'll let me hold her and she gives me a ton of kisses but then she wants her mom back. Shes so good for her mom. She lays with her sleeps with her during the day on her days off. I put her in the crate for naps so I can get a break. And she has bad separation anxiety and I need all the help or advice I can get. I appreciate it, thank you. BTW my Boston name is Mia.
So sorry to hear that. The only thing I can think of doing in that situation is start taking her on longer walks to try to get out her pent up energy. And then the next step would be to find a local trainer to see what they would recommend. But try the additional exercise first.
thanks Donny you keep me hoprfull with my 5-6 month old she does the zoomies v got hfr to stop biteing b8ut correct this with settle..thou she has gone to biteing me....srttle stop wworks mostly her destorying thing i getting makes me lose fait so i got a shock collorwe stsrted with bell to come other commands but once the break time from it missbehaves i dont want her to be breaking so only using thr toneas affifmation then collar off she like rebells idk tone as good girl come settle lay etc with collar off she turns into the devil HELP maybe a phone chat i am 63 so Leloo last dog i mean to haave help

Lots of links here, which one is leads to the article about reducing separation anxiety that you mention in the video? Clicked a few that sounded close but cannot seem to locate. Thanks for your posts!
Sorry Devin...I much have missed it. I’ll be sure to add it in the notes section. In the meantime here is the article for you. I hope this helps. www.bostonterriersociety.com/boston-terriers-separation-anxiety/
How old was bella when she stopped chewing things? I have a 3 month old BT and he never stops biting. Thanks
I can’t remember exactly but 100% by two years. The first round of chewing should end around the 5-6 month mark once their adult teeth come in. Then it is all about training.
My puppy Boston is 3 months old and he got the zoomie around 9 he running like crazy and bite at you if you try to stop him , the issue is the Zoomie last for one hours some times more ... few days I gave him plenty of walk and is same , I try for few days to keep him relax at home and no walk and the same .... really I don’t know why he got the zoomie so long my vet say is normal is puppy... really ? LOL he scared me sometime I told my wife he is possessed with the evil
My puppy rarely got zoomie. I walk him at least two times a day and he plays at the dog park once another day. He is 4 months right now. I heard you can ask for medical support from the doctor to calm him down if you need it. Not sure how it gonna work specifically.
Do you only have one boston? I just got my second boston and they both are driving me crazy lol. One year old boy and a 10 week old girl. They both be zooming thru the yard. Any advice on how to stop my lil one from nipping his ears and cheeks?
Yep only Bella. As for this question I would recommend checking out the Boston Terrier Society’s Facebook Group there you can ask questions like this to thousands of other Boston owners who have anywhere from two like you to as many as seven that I have seen lol. facebook.com/groups/497294314401144/?ref=share
