The foreperson of the jury that hung on murder charges against a former Clear Creek County deputy says a holdout on the jury was biased and shouldn't have been there.
In her first TV interview, the foreperson said other jurors spent two whole days trying to convince this person that the evidence was clear, but they wouldn't budge.

I recall a number of cases where a juror who refused to deliberate was replaced with one of the alternates after that refusal was reported to the judge by the jury foreman. Wonder why that didn't happen in this case.
