Its not quantity, but quality. You get more fun in an hour watching you guys than a night watching rubbish on the telly.
I agree with Guy's comment at the end, this group just works great together. Team work, role-playing, the players above table chemistry all works well. It's rare to see everything click, everyone pulls their weight, without any player nor character trying to take control, or someone not engaging in some aspect of the game. Like, I have seen players check out of the game when there is no combat for too long, or someone makes it more about their own character, and often overshadows the others. This is the model ideal of what a D&D table should be.
It's truly a heinous crime against humanity that I'm the only one who gave this comment a like (so far).
These comments really make our day. Thanks! Brendan (Dorin)
I would love to see the players give a players' perspective video, much like Guy's 6 hour breakdown. They are truly a great group for every reason you mention.
Really liked the skill test at the start. They really help to move the story along sometimes. Also cracked up at the "Nein!!"😂😂
Thanks Dorreen! Although at some point I should probably apologise to the entire German speaking world for the atrocious stereo-type 😂
I'm truly impressed with how well Guy managed the blinding sun in his face. Resistant to radiant damage? Maybe the game room needs a new set of blinds.
Either way, great session! Loved the walls and towers. Y'all are quickly becoming my favorite actual play series. Cheers!
Two words: transitions lenses. I thought everybody with glasses would have them by now.
Couldn't wait till bedtime! Had to watch during the dinner hour!
Bravo! 👏👏 This was one of my favorite episodes! Everyone had their own key moments & the way Guy handles spontaneous moments with some great improv, it's so entertaining! But if I were producing the show there would absolutely be 2 hrs per! ❤❤❤❤
Sublimely scintillating. A role playing tour de force.
Yes, Guy, that's exactly what i commented last week! The players play well off each other. I do love your style as well and the terrain set up helps with knowing in my opinion. But I'm very visual. Well done all.
This is now one of the highlights of my week. Thank you Guy and all the players for making it so enjoyable.
This is great...alfonse is hilarious lol
Been waiting for this! Thanks all
Another excellent story block, well done everyone
Love these shows. Great actual play, definitely a weekly highlight. Good to see a skill challenge in action, and the next skill is athletics 😂
Guy needs to put some curtains up😊
✌
Who wants a real gaurd enemy somewhere whose the real Alfonse, and quite in control 😂
I've been watching some of your videos and this is the first actual play I've watched and I have to say I'm deeply disappointed with how you run games. You don't give your players any agency. You tell your players where they go and what they do and what they should roll. Are you running D&D or a board game?
