- Apologies for the poor quality but I felt it still warranted an upload as it comemmorates a great and popular filly who bagged a 1,000 Guineas, an Eclipse, The Champion Stakes and broke the course record at Aqueduct to take a Breeders Cup Turf.
I was 16 when I got into racing and my mum said watch out for a horse called pebbles she will go far in racing my mother loved that horse what a legend.

I used to watch this as a child with my Dad and brother. Goosebumps and tears ❤❤❤❤ ... my favorite filly of all time!

The Stable Lad John Harkness who rode and looked after Pebbles was my Ex Girlfriends Dad, Fran Harkness. I have just forwarded this video to her.
Her last two wins will never ever be forgotten by all racing fans .
Ashame she didn't race El Gran Senor as a 4 yo. Same generation. What a generation it was.

The voice of the guy doing the narrating? I feel I know that voice but can't put my finger on who it is? It's definitely not Brough Scott which the end credits say it is.
It was Ian Darke which threw me as he was 'boxing' outside of his natural habitat.
