About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

Mr L backstory is actually a alternate universe take of Mario Bros 1. Where Luigi joins Mario on his Adventure. However accidentally Mario made the Bridge fall to try and defeat Bowser however it failed and Luigi fell in the lava. However to the Lugi perspective he thought Mario did it on purpose. Now he's very vengeful.

@@octanemain3010 Kind of. Same sort of lore except I Hate You.EXE Luigi is SEEMINGLY stuck in the Fortress while Too Late.EXE Luigi is able to alter the world.
At the same time, IHY.EXE Luigi is allied with Bowser, TL.EXE Luigi isn't allied with Bowser.
As a spm fan, when he said Mr L I thought he meant spm mr L and I got my hopes up-
Actually mr L is hunting Mario because Mario and Luigi were fighting bowser from the first game with the bridge, and Mario assumed that Luigi was off the bridge, so he used the axe to destroy the bridge. But sadly Luigi was still on the bridge and he ends up falling in. Which is why Mario harbors so much guilt because he feels like it is his fault.

Actually, Giga-Weegee's boss fight is more based on Bowser's Inside Story than Partners In Time. The music used in the video, The Grand Finale, is the final boss theme of Bowser's Inside Story, so there.
According to some Wiki nonsense, Lord X and MX are friends considering they have alot in common.

I think that MX and Lord X already have Bf and Gfs souls now. That fact that boyfriend literally died and then Lord X brought him back just so sing with him again, And i think that the reason of why Mr L and Gf are battling eachother is because gf is too weak to fight lord x and mx in a battle but while Mr L is slightly weaker then them (i think) so it would give GF a fighting chance. Also, Does lord x and MX already know about Mr L, Because the screen gets teleported to another place. If they do know Mr L, Why not try and kill him?

Theres something wrong: Lord X is only Sonic because whenever he is in his Sonic form thats when you know that you or someone else is/are one of his favorite victims
Actually, you're wrong. The thing about the victims is that the victims can take on any Sonic character vessel, except for Lord X's favorite victims who become Sonic. Lord X only takes on his Sonic form, not only to get idiots playing his game to trust him, but because, like the original Sonic.exe, he is unhealthily obsessed with Sonic as a character and a franchise.

In the rom-hack version (I'm pretty sure) he doesn't mourn luigi, only in the EXE (Executable file) version.
You keep referring to MX as "Mario '85", and I think you are confused. MX is the name of the character; Mario '85 is the name of the game/Creepypasta that MX comes from.
Also, Mario '85 is its own thing, despite being inspired by Sonic (PC Port). The reason why Lord X is here is not because of that inspiration, but because Mario '85 and PC Port take place in the same universe, and MX and Lord X are canonically best friends.

Really? When I saw that crossover, I thought it was just an expansion to I Hate You's week. I didn't know that it was an official crossover with Slimebeast, despite how long it's been since he's worked on his Creepypasta stories.
Here’s a quick backstory about too late:
Based on there cut scenes seen in the game the bros were in bowsers castle when the bridge broke because Mario hit the axe. Luigi fell in the lava and died an extremely painful death. He hated Mario because of this

The backstory of Mr L actually is kinda shown as Mario doing what He usually done throwing Bowser into the lava pit but not noticing his brother still hasn't made it across the bridge and end up falling into the pit as well,The sight and guilt of that moment haunting Mario throughout the entire rom and I believe it manifested itself as Mr L

What’s funny is that Lord X and MX actually can’t hurt Boyfriend unless they beat him in a rap battle, and even with their powers combined, they still lost. Plus, Girlfriend would be able to protect themselves from Lord X and MX, Xenophanes couldn’t just harm Boyfriend unless he beat him in a rap battle (I could be wrong though)

So for TooLate.exe, the story goes that Mario did something, accidentally mind you, that costed Luigi his life. He was thrown into the lava (maybe Mario hit the axe too early, or maybe he had to in order to stop Bowser) However Mario cannot live with himself and a demonic version of Luigi torments him, eventually getting revenge by tossing him in a lava lake. That's where the Too Late comes in; it's too late to go back, it's too late to apologize, it's too late to fix your mistakes.
This "Wario apparition" in 1983 (or smth) was actually there to promote Wario Land, It isn't some sort of wierd paranormal activity...
Basically, it WASN'T some wierd spooky crap, it was an AD COMMERCIAL!!!

TooLate.exe and IHY luigi are different. IHY Luigi was kicked into the lava by Mario and TooLate.exe/Mr.L was killed by accident when Mario broke the bridge to drop Bowser in the lava and forgot Luigi was still on the bridge.
