Dagoth Ur Helps You Pick a City in Skyrim
Vložit
- čas přidán 31. 07. 2024
- This is an AI Morroiwnd/Skyrim meme where Dagoth Ur goes over each Skyrim city: Winterhold, Windhelm, Markarth, Riften, Morthal, and others. He is not fond of Nords at all, and he doesn't like Skyrim. However, he has an opinion about each city, and he gives them to you in this video. In this meme, he breaks the fourth wall a lot, so be ready. He is especially not fond of Markarth, and Windhelm for mistreating the Dunmer, and Riften because of the Blackbriars. Thanks to the Eleven Labs voice AI, this wonderful Elder Scrolls meme was made. Dagoth Ur kind of sounds bored here.

"I'm not going to do the Yakko song"
Is this how you dishonor the five houses and the tribes mourned?
"Is this how you honor the water tower and the Warners unmournered?"
Yakko song is cringe. Idk what the fuck people find in it
Moral of the Story : just go to Solstheim
A home, away from home. ;c
that's were my Dunmer Hand of Almaexia character lives he returns to Severin Manor after every mission

one step closer to morrowind
The number of reachmen cosplaying as deer and performing strange rituals almost remind me of Oregon.
~ Dagoth Ur, describing Markarth
He’s not wrong. I love Oregon, but…
Hearing Dagoth Ur mention Oregon was a mental flash bang
He was obviously talking about O'ree Gon, the town on the somerset isles
'. . . and Nazeem asking me if I've been to the Cloud District-I AM A GOD!"
felt that.
You pompous fraudulent unloved... While you walk the planes district, I walk the very planes of Aetherius. Not only do I have the Jarl's ear, he let me lure a dragon into the heart his keep.
I eventually send him to the Cloud District on the "Fus'Ro'Dah" express 😂
Lol every 3rd resident of morthal is a vampire 🤣
This is not necessarily a bad thing.
@@ronnickels5193 Bad for the Food supply tho.

? Did you miss the whole Dagoth Ur thing the last few weeks?

@@bobobsen I'm not talking about the AI generated Dagoth Ur voice. I mean stylistically.
Guys don't be retards. Just because this one hasn't spent the last two weeks laughing at the same jokes as you doesn't mean he lives under a rock.
@@Eupator5 This is the same AI-generated voice that's on every Dagoth Ur meme.
So true about Whiterun. All the other cities seem devoid of any quests.
Hopefully ES6 is more lively.
I feel like that’s sadly unlikely since Bethesda usually only has 1 big city as a quest hub and the rest as interesting side areas.
In-game manual: "Hey this is a big important trade hub and the center of the province."
In-game: 7 fishing huts, 15 NPCs, and an alchemy shop
@@phantomspaceman Falkreath was apparently a ancient and powerful city and a center for nord kingdoms, Winterhold and Dawnstar are supposed to be northern trade hubs
@@avgvstvs7 They certainly didn't give us anything to remember it by. Dawnstar was just a pier with 10 houses and Winterhold sounded so impressive they yeeted it off the continent.
@@phantomspaceman And only one proper road in and out. Also the Jarl is a scumbag as far I'm concerned.
chim is achived
Somehow with the rampant silver blood corruption, the haunted house, forsworn raids and an actual cannibal cult the worst part about markarth is being able to figure out where the hell you need to go. Seriously that entire place is like a goddamn maze which is definitely in line with all other dwemer cities. Also those people sleep on stone beds they dont even use straw or furs for matresses!
I love when Dagoth Ur says "the mongrel dogs of the empire"
As an Oregonian, I can say Oregon is full of forsworn. Azura, come save me from these backward barbarians!
I've lived in Eugene
The cities are just a colonial proxy of the invaders. They were built by real Oregonians but liberals conquered them and colonized them. Real Oregonians still survive in the suburbs and rural.
@@rachdarastrix5251 Sounding a lot like a Forsworn there pal. Got something to admit, ya damned Reachman?

I admit to still not getting a shellfishing license for this year so I can make use of the rotten fish in my freezer.
There, that fit with your comment?
Azura is coming my friend......he is coming with Greater Idaho
"What about Cyrodiil? Oh, Moon and Star, don't get me started.
First off, there's Bravil. It's like an entire city became a slum.
Then there's Leyawin, a city that treats Khajiit and Argonians worse than I do... Seriously, the count has a secret torture dungeon.
Chorrol has the Fighters Guild, sure, but they're too close to that Lovecraft wannabe cult town.
Anvil stinks of fish and booze, and between the Serpent's Wake and Benirus Manor, I'm pretty sure ghosts outnumber the people in that town.
Kvatch is a smoldering pit, so we may as well not even count it.
Skingrad is very pretty and has a good wine scene, and Hassildor runs the county very well for a fellow vampire, but the Imperial stink still overruns the streets.
And the Imperial City, the hub of the mongrel dogs, full of lies and corruption, vampires and bitches, all circling that giant phallic symbol in the center. Not even the Mages Guild can keep that city together.
Cheydinhal? Yes, by far the most civilized of the Mongrel Empire, but even having a dunmer count, they're corrupt as Hell. That Breton in charge of their guard is an arsehole, and the count lets his son run around, causing mayhem while pretending to be Knight. It's enough to make a god pack up and move to the Shivering Isles."
We need him reviewing the Player Homes next, especially a remark about how when you live in the DLC homes your wife gets kidnapped every weekend.
not at Dwemer DLC home of course it's just the pet Armored Mudcrab that lives there
Um what?
I actually thought he would like Markath because its a dwemer ruin, but he has fair points on all cities.
To be fair vivec city is like larger than any two cities in skyrim together
I'm so addicted to these, I just wake up every morning to a fresh, bountiful meme harvest
Riften. . .makes me wish I could use a summon dragon shout and burn the whole place down.(after getting the orphans out there first of course. . .not a complete monster).
We don't want to pull an Anakin Skywalker
Riften would actually be cool as hell as long as you’re not a naive victim
@Child Predator Name checks out🤣
I'm simply so glad that being born in the 90s I got to play this game as a child, watch the world burn since 2001, and now get to already enjoy based Dagoth in the closing days before TEOTWAWKI.
Thank you.

I kind of expected at least some endorsement of Markath, since as a Dwemer Ruin, it could remind Lord Dagoth of his home in Red Mountain. But I am not a fool, I do not question gods.

Checklist for quality Dagoth Ur memes:
[ X ] mentions the mongrel dogs of the empire
Congrats, this is awesome.
While I know it's not Elder Scrolls related, Dagoth mentioning Oregon gave me the curiosity of how he would rate the various states in America, or the cities or regions of some other real life local. My innocence in thinking of this may just be both grand and intoxicating, but I cannot help but to wonder such things.
Let us begin with the mongrel dogs of the Empire State, before moving south to Florida, a swampy land of insects, and undoubtedly, farm tools. Certainly, Texas belongs to the loud, bellowing Nords, and California is full of warm sands, and furries, neravar.
Id like to imagine Dagoth in a bar and all of the nords start to bully him until he rips someones head off and is like:
"You saw it, everyone saw it, he hit me first. I have the right of self defense.*
Markarth could turn into a pool of molten lava and the only people I would actively attempt to save are the Orsimer blacksmiths in there.
Ok, but how's he feel about Raven Rock on Solstheim?
That's going to be in the Settlements video
Things to do in Skyrim:
1. Leave
2. Don’t get caught trying to cross the border.
Riften is the best choice because its the closest to the border and freedom from skyrim is within your grasp
Falkreath isn't too far from the Cyrodiil border either, y'know. That is, if you happen to prefer The Empire (and their dogs)
Oh how I look forward to Dagoth Ur's (the god) reincarnation, as he will erect Dagoth Ur (the city). Finally, a city in Skyrim worthy of the 6th House and the Tribe Unmourned; free of Skooma addicts... No! That wasn't a mongrel dog whistle regarding lizards....
Of course it wasn’t a mongrel dog whistle regarding lizards.
It was a mongrel dog whistle regarding cats
Commenting before I even start the video. Can’t wait for him to talk about Windhelm!
What a grand and intoxicating Brochure Guide.
If you were ever even thinking about Riften you might as well just stone up and go over the border into Morrowind. Pretty nice place now that the Cliff Racers are gone.
I love just finding a playlist and sleeping to our soothing dreamer god's voice.
That Oregon reference 🔥🔥🔥
When will Dagoth Ur, the person, give me the correct opinion of daggerfall builds?
Why is this so entertaining
I'd want to live in Whiterun. It's in the center of Skyrim, and it's safer than cities like Riften or Markarth.
the best part is knowing i CAN use the tools of kagronac on grelod
"I want to go into Honorhall Orphanage and give Grelod the Kind a lesson with the tools of Kagnerak"
Dude same, but a prefer the 9 and 45 method.
I don’t care man, I love Markarth. The design, the layout, the lore… it would suck to live there in real life but I just love it
“And Nazeem asking me if I had been to the cloud district. How dare he, I AM the cloud district, the cloud district is ME.”
This would have fit perfectly into the lore as Dagoth Ur had attempted to achieve Chim and had sort of misunderstood what it was supposed to reveal.
Instead of understanding that all is all and bound together to the same line drawn by the sleeping god, he interpreted it as all are he.
Can you do the daedric prince feet tier list
Maybe on my raunchy meme channel @ZakeandZachMemes
Dagoth has a point, and so does Inigo in the Skyrim has not a single toilet or Bathroom.
Truly barbarous.
The only places with toilets are bandit dungeons, but they barely pass, considering they're usually just rows of separated buckets accompanied by Potions of True Shot
@@viridiansignal "by the nine!"
Just don't crap upstream. Besides they need the manure, it's already hard enough to get anything to grow in the cold.
@@insaincaldo yeah but, the entire city of Markarth is upstream of the capital of Solitude...

Dagoth Ur videos are the only good thing to come of AI getting more advanced
Hello Disney
To be fair to Windhelm, The Dunmer was given their area of the city, like 100 years before the game, and never had to pay taxes on their property and buisnesses. That the area looks like a slum is really on them.
Oregon mention killed me
Dagoth helps you decide a player home....including severin manor
Who remembers when count dankula did the countries of the world song and it was so spicy you literally can't find it anywhere.
Cries in Oregonian
Put it on record winterhold is both the most destroyed city, and the one most historically populated by the dunmer. Those two facts can also be applied to morrowwind. Perhaps the dunmer invite destruction >_>

When you put it that way. It really is scary, that such a cheese lover decided to bed and breakfast in the Blue Palace.
I always find myself in solitude... probably because my museum and phylactery are there
Dagoth basically described all Scandinavian countries.
I was expecting him to sing the song going "outlander, outlander, outlander, outlander, outlander, outlander and outlander"
Dagoth Ur has been to Oregon? He must have spent some time there if he’s comparing the Forsworn to something he’s seen there…
1:24 "dilluma"
if I was forced to be born in Skyrim, I'd pray to the Sixth House I was given to the loins of a Falkreath hunter and left to die an orphan in the dense forest.
Nerevar, you fool! Don't you know that the only livable place in Skyrim was burned by a dragon?
At least you can kill Heimskr to permanently shut up his proselytizing
I agree which is why I moved to Bruma. I would prefer Anvil or Cheydinhal but the mongrel dogs of the empire don't allow anyone in or out of Bruma.
Never thought I'd wholeheartedly agree with Dagoth, but here we are.
you know I didn't expect my home state to be mentioned in this type of video but you're not wrong the forsworn is 90% have the local population the other 10% is forsworn from other states that moved here.
God I love Oregon
the answer: no city. house dlc all the way lining in the forest

He honestly wasn't harsh enough with Markarth.

I can try. I made him sing SpongeBob intro once
I think Janet Reno already sang the "Wako" song. But I'd love the see Lord Dagoth sing the "Wakko" song!
Thank you, folks! I'll be here all week!
Best city's in skyrim to live in gameplay wise:
#1 Markarth- Smelter, Blacksmith station, 3 different shops, enchantment access, possibly 3 deadric quests, Major Dwemer lore and quest, Forsworn quest, several other minor questlines, a Inn, and on top of it all the house is beautiful and large and is next to several shops.
#2 Whiterun- Smelter, 3 different Blacksmith inventory everyday, alchemist shop, regular trader, Companions questline, central hub, Inn, house is cheap but very small infact the smallest purchasable house in the game. Whiteruns best features gameplay wise however is the shops it would be #1 if I didnt like markarths look so much and you couldn't buy a dog there.
#3 Riften- Gameplay wise you have a major factions questline, several minor shops but base game inventory doesn't reset for them, Mjorn the Lioness, several minor quests, house is the most ideal in size to me and the housecarl is good, it also comes with a Blacksmith but no smelter if I recall. And said Blacksmith likes to not come outside at times in script and won't unlock door for hours past 8. Overall its got a decent amount of things for selling etc and its all in a condensed circle. Solitude would replace riften if half of solitude didn't matter besides wasting time running back and forth due to distance.
Riften blacksmith life hack: marry him and he'll be open for you 24/7.
You also forgot that the best housecarl in the game is Argis from Markarth cuz he's a handsome one-eyed hunk.
@@ThePopo543 hes also gotta deal with the most bs with the forsworn everywhere, cannibals etc
Ya know, he's right.
I'll live in a cool place, like Hla Oad.
I honor the sixth house (The Tribe Unmourned) everyday since the teaser of TES 3
with all this said. i settled unto whiterun. hehe
Skyrim looks like Poland, even religious Civil War, and topography are correct
TL:DR The correct answer is Solstheim. Dunmer culture and architecture in the main town, and the beauty of Skyrim's wilderness if you visit the north part of the island. You know, assuming one of the werebears don't eat you.
Almost reminds me of Oregon. LOL!
Dagoth ur, did you leave out Falkreath on purpose?
Frankly I pretty much always live in Lakeview Manor. Yeah the neighbors are creepy but I’m the fucking dragonborn and I can clear the mage down the hill out with ease. So it’s just pretty and relatively isolated.
Just live in Morrowind.
I concur with Dagoth.

Go Ducks!
So do we get a "Days Gone" / "Elder Scrolls" cross over?
Perhaps Dagoth Ur knows more about "Crater Lake" that he's not telling?
The man has good points, especially about todd howard.
3:35. I live in Oregon. So I can tell you that Dagoth Ur is not wrong.
Markarth. My favourite!
Can always live in raven rock it's a dunmer settlement at least
The number of fellow Oregonians in the comments makes me think we instinctively know when our state is mentioned.
They received a whole quarter of the city and are completely free to go out and buy lands outside the city if they wish to. They aren't 'confined' to the grey quarter because the nords are big meanies. They live in the grey quarters because that is the only place in the city with space for them.
The nords gave their whole commercial district for the dunmer.
All the others cities have a commerce area. The Snow Quarter used to be the commercial district of Windhelm, until the nords ( out of the kindness and pity of their hearts ) gave that half of their city for the dunmer and moved their stores to the plaza near the blacksmith.
Oh i didn't get the Animaniacs joke at first, thought that pointer was a thermometer for some reason
